Of. Through the gloomy corridor, a warm, moist steam rushed toward her.
Yisela’s tense nerves unraveled the moment she saw the scene before her. She gasped, her eyes nearly popping out.
Deep within the ruins was a massive space.
On the walls that should have been dilapidated, magic crystals were embedded, emitting a soft glow that lit the place up like daytime.
In the center was a large hot spring. The water was clear to the bottom and steaming, with fresh white rose petals floating on the surface. The fragrance drilled straight into her nose.
Compared to the muddy skeletons and filth outside, this place was like a paradise.
“Hmph. At least you have some taste with this setup.”
Even as she said that, her body was honest. The black demonic energy mucus had dried and tightened on her skin, mixed with the sour smell of Yesha saliva, making her smell like a stray cat pulled from a trash heap. This kind of dirtiness was more unbearable than being stabbed.
“Get out of my way!”
Yisela pushed aside the fallen angel standing nearby and started stripping off her clothes in a few moves.
A few seconds later, a mage’s skirt stained with unknown fluids hit the floor with a thud.
“Hiss—!”
The moment her clothes came off, her whole body trembled, and she sucked in a breath through her teeth. Her skin finally saw the light. The sensation was so comfortable she almost cried out.
“If I don’t wash now, I’ll die!”
Like a silver cannonball, without looking back, she plunged into the hot spring with a splash.
The hot steam wrapped around her, slowing her mind for a moment. She splashed in the water, blew a string of bubbles, and hummed a tuneless song.
“Mmm~♪ La la la~♪”
After washing away the stickiness, her mind finally calmed down.
Leaning against the edge of the pool, only her wet little head was visible.
“Ah…!”
“I’m awake now.”
Even though she was a prisoner, these people didn’t seem to be planning to kill her immediately. That fallen angel was even very respectful.
‘I hope Saint Sister is safe.’
She muttered to herself. Although she was worried, she knew that going back in her current state would only be a burden.
‘Lina and those idiots should have escaped far by now.’
Yisela shook her head to shake off these worries. Take things as they come. First, enjoy the treatment as a prisoner.
Yisela turned in the water, playing with bubbles, and glanced casually at the fallen angel by the pool.
That fallen angel stood still, black wings folded behind her, silver hair reaching her waist. On that unrealistically beautiful face, it was as dead as a block of ice.
“Hey, black-winged sister.”
Yisela’s playful side emerged again, and a familiar mischievous smile curled on her lips.
The fallen angel heard her, and her pale golden eyes shifted slightly, her gaze falling on the wet silver head in the water.
“When I bathe, I always need a pretty sister to scrub my back.”
She said it with confidence, with a hint of pride.
“You’re so beautiful. You must feel good to the touch. Come down and play with me for a while?”
She was purely looking for fun, and also to see if this wooden angel would ever move.
The air froze for two seconds.
Just as Yisela thought she would refuse or show an annoyed expression, the fallen angel merely nodded slightly, her movements stiff as a marionette.
“As you wish.”
After saying that, she really started to undress. No shyness, no hesitation, movements mechanical and smooth.
The black dress slid down, revealing a body as perfect as a work of art.
Yisela stared wide-eyed.
“What the hell?”
“She’s this obedient?”
She had thought the fallen angel would at least scold her for being a pervert, or simply ignore her. But instead, she was really about to strip and come in to bathe with her!
Just as the undergarments were about to fall, Yisela stood up from the water with a splash, rushed over in one step, and grabbed the fallen angel’s wrist.
“Wait! Don’t take it off!”
Her face was flushed with excitement. But she couldn’t really let a beauty completely strip—that would be too stimulating. She wasn’t ready to bear the consequences of such a blessing. What if it was a trap?
“Since you’re so obedient, then don’t take off your clothes! Just come down and accompany me!”
Yisela smirked, using her strength to pull the tall fallen angel like pulling a radish, and with a splash, dragged her into the hot spring.
“Splash—!”
A huge spray of water rose.
The fallen angel lost her balance from the sudden pull and fell heavily into the water. She didn’t struggle.
She let the warm water submerge her head. Her black wings spread limply in the water, like two blooming black lotuses.
A few seconds later, she surfaced. Her silver hair was wet and stuck to her cheeks. Water droplets slid down her beautiful profile, dripping onto her collarbone.
Those pale golden eyes were still as calm as dead water, no anger at being teased, no panic at being pulled in.
Yisela had wanted to see a face full of shame and anger, but she saw nothing.
“Hey? Are you okay?”
Yisela’s heart skipped a beat. She tentatively waved her hand in front of the fallen angel’s eyes.
The fallen angel blinked, her movements still stiff.
“I’m fine. The master ordered me to take good care of you. I must obey…”
Her voice was still cold, with no inflection.
Yisela frowned. ‘This reaction… Something is off.’
The mischievous nature inside her started acting up again. She wanted to see where this fallen angel’s limits were.
“Obey, huh?”
She smirked and swam over, wrapping herself around the fallen angel like a koala, arms and legs entwined.
“Then I won’t hold back!”
Her fingers mischievously poked at her cheek, then moved down her neck to touch the black wings on her back.
“Wow, these feathers are so soft.”
As she exclaimed, she forcefully plucked one out.
“Tear—!”
The fallen angel’s body trembled violently, and for the first time, a pained expression appeared on her face. But she only bit her lip hard, not making a sound, letting Yisela do whatever she wanted.
Seeing her suffer without resisting, Yisela’s suspicion grew heavier. ‘This isn’t like a living person. It’s more like a puppet controlled by some force.’
“Hey, who is your master?”
Yisela stopped moving, released her, and asked in a low voice.
The fallen angel lowered her head, wet silver hair covering her face.
“I’m sorry, Your Highness Yisela. My master has not granted me permission to answer this question.”
The air fell silent instantly.
Yisela looked at this beautiful but hollow shell, and for the first time, a complex feeling welled up inside her.
