The sticky sound of a kiss was exceptionally clear in the silent living room.
As Bai Huizi’s tongue swept across Su Li’s teeth, she let out a whimpering sound like a young animal.
The scent of mint cigarettes mixed with the sweet taste of lipstick.
She recklessly tore open the first two buttons of Su Li’s shirt, her sharp canine teeth biting a crescent-shaped red mark onto Su Li’s collarbone.
The leather sofa emitted an overwhelmed creak following her forward movement.
Her burning cheek rubbed against Su Li’s earlobe, and even her breathing carried a trembling trail.
“No hiding…”
She suddenly pinched Su Li’s jaw, her sweat-beaded nose pressing against the other’s face.
Her curls shrouded the two of them in shadow like a honey-colored waterfall.
She bit Su Li’s lip as if with a vengeance, not letting go until she tasted the tang of iron, then gently licked the wound with the tip of her tongue as if to soothe it.
Su Li’s back was pressed against the sofa. Bai Huizi’s curls brushed against her collarbone, making it itch.
The cell phone in her pocket suddenly vibrated, and the screen lit up with a sticker sent by Miss Cat.
“50,000.”
“Open it.”
Even though Bai Huizi was still panting incessantly, she spoke in a commanding tone upon seeing the message on Su Li’s phone.
She didn’t care about Su Li’s privacy at all, merely exercising her rights as a client.
Su Li opened the chat with Miss Cat anyway.
‘If it’s just a sticker, there shouldn’t be a problem.’
‘There isn’t anything strange in our chat history.’
‘It doesn’t matter even if others see it.’
‘Besides, 50,000 is enough to buy many delicious dim sum for Miss Cat.’
‘I can buy many of the little fish snacks and cat food she loves.’
Pressed down by Bai Huizi, Su Li took out her phone and looked at the message Miss Cat had sent her.
It was a sticker of a kitten holding a heart.
‘Miss Cat probably doesn’t know what the words on it mean,’ Su Li guessed. ‘She only saw the kitten and the heart pattern, so she sent it to me.’
Su Li didn’t reply immediately.
The look in Bai Huizi’s eyes gradually became playful, but she didn’t seem to mind.
“Little Su Li is quite busy.”
“It seems it won’t be easy for Sister to ask Little Su Li out in the future.”
Bai Huizi suddenly bit Su Li’s earlobe, speaking indistinctly into her ear.
The phone vibrated twice more. The light from the message notification flickered through the scattered strands of hair.
Bai Huizi’s knee pushed apart Su Li’s closed legs, her burgundy nails sinking into the soft flesh of Su Li’s waist.
The silk hem of her skirt brushed against Su Li’s skin, causing a slight shiver.
Just as Su Li was about to turn her head to catch her breath, her jaw was suddenly forced straight by fingers like iron pincers.
“Focus.”
“Sister won’t allow you to think about anyone else while you’re with Sister.”
Bai Huizi licked away the moisture from the corner of Su Li’s mouth, her eyes dropping to sweep over the phone screen that had lit up again.
That bouncing kitten avatar made her temples throb. The force with which she pulled at Su Li’s shirt buttons was so heavy that a button popped off.
Cool lips gnawed all the way down Su Li’s neck, leaving blood-tinged teeth marks on her collarbone.
Bai Huizi fiercely grabbed Su Li’s loose long hair, forcing her to tilt her head back and expose her fair neck. Then, she left a heavy mark of her own there.
Messy, wet sounds mixed with the noise of tearing fabric.
Her fingertips, stained with lipstick, suddenly reached into Su Li’s pocket and violently threw the still-vibrating phone onto the sofa.
“Mm…”
Su Li’s muffled groan was blocked in her throat. Bai Huizi’s tongue, carrying the taste of mint candy, pushed against the root of Su Li’s tongue until it felt sore.
The leather sofa gave an overwhelmed creak under the intense movement. Their scattered curls tangled together like a golden spiderweb.
A long time later, Bai Huizi lay on Su Li’s body, gasping for breath.
She felt sticky all over, yet Su Li acted as if nothing had happened. Su Li even helped her regulate her breathing.
Even if she wasn’t satisfied, Bai Huizi didn’t show it. This thrilling sensation made her feel as if she were climbing a high mountain, unable to stop.
“Carry Sister to the shower,” Bai Huizi said in a commanding tone.
……
Miss Cat looked at the picture she had sent, feeling a bit nervous.
She didn’t know if the message she sent would disturb Su Li.
Since getting the new phone, she discovered that she could add and save other people’s pictures in the employee chat group.
Pictures that she couldn’t load before had become clear in front of her.
She seemed to know what everyone usually talked about. It felt like she could join in on other people’s topics now.
However, Miss Cat only curiously clicked on what others were saying, listening sentence by sentence.
After finding that they were all insignificant matters, she stopped listening.
Instead, she remembered Su Li’s instructions.
Now, she needed to learn more words!
It just so happened that there wasn’t much work this afternoon, so she had plenty of time to study. She wanted to strive for better communication with Su Li.
But because she had a new phone, Miss Cat still wanted to share the sticker with Su Li the moment she discovered she could add them.
She found that good friends didn’t need a specific topic. Whenever she encountered something interesting, a beautiful picture, or nice weather, she wanted to share it with Su Li.
But Su Li was working right now.
In the past, when her pooper-scooper was working, she would stay obediently in her room and not disturb them.
She would wait until the pooper-scooper was finished with work before going to play with them.
Seeing the picture she had accidentally sent, Miss Cat felt a bit nervous and embarrassed.

[Voice Message] 14 seconds: ‘Apologies, I sent the wrong thing… I just saw a cute cat and wanted to share it with you, Su Li!’
[Voice Message] 6 seconds: ‘I didn’t mean to disturb your work!’
Seeing that Su Li hadn’t replied, Miss Cat knew Su Li was busy. When Miss Cat had been busy with work before, she hadn’t been able to reply to other people’s messages either.
Actually, Miss Cat really wanted to chat with Su Li. She felt that after getting the new phone, chatting with Su Li had become faster. It was as if Su Li were right by her side.
But Miss Cat wouldn’t disturb Su Li’s work.
She remembered what Su Li had once told her. If she studied hard, she could get a better job in the future. Even other humans said the same thing while working.
Miss Cat knew her pooper-scooper liked to study very much. She could always see her pooper-scooper studying.
Thinking back, though, she didn’t quite understand it. Why did her pooper-scooper work so hard and study so seriously? It was still so exhausting.
Miss Cat didn’t know the answer.
But she believed in Su Li.
Whatever Su Li said must have a reason.
She had to study hard! She had to earn more money!
That way, she could buy more delicious fruits for Su Li!
