Bai Huizi owned numerous properties in S City—so many that even Su Li didn’t know the exact number.
She even suspected that if someone grew tired while wandering around S City, they could probably find a place to rest under Bai Huizi’s name anywhere they went.
People are born differently. Life itself has its dividing lines.
Su Li knew that no matter how hard she worked her entire life, she could never possess wealth like Bai Huizi’s.
But the things she wanted weren’t many—so long as she and Cat could be happy, that was enough.
And now, she had found Cat.
As long as Cat was doing well, nothing else mattered.
She wanted to earn more money, to give Cat a better life.
When Su Li arrived, Bai Huizi didn’t change her posture; she still looked incredibly lazy.
She patted her leg, signaling for Su Li to sit.
Su Li naturally understood.
When she settled onto Bai Huizi’s full, rounded thighs, Bai Huizi immediately hugged her tightly.
She was like a life-sized cushion, held securely in Bai Huizi’s arms.
‘I’ve missed you so much, Elder Sister,’ Bai Huizi said, burying her head into Su Li and softly nuzzling her.
Just breathing in Su Li’s scent relaxed her completely.
Even the fatigue of an entire day seemed to vanish.
‘Have you missed me, Little Su Li?’
‘I have.’
Neither of them mentioned what had happened during their last service.
For Bai Huizi, that service had been nothing more than a spontaneous game.
For Su Li, it had been just another service.
Moreover, the stakes Bai Huizi had paid were enough that it made no real impact on her.
‘Little Su Li, you don’t know… I was rather troubled just now.’
‘But after seeing you, all my worries disappeared immediately.’
Bai Huizi suddenly leaned close to Su Li’s neck, warm breath sweeping across the fine hairs behind her ear.
Before Su Li could pull back, her nose brushed against the silk strap slipping from her shoulder, revealing her collarbone, with a sweet, coconut-tinged perfume mingling with hair oil.
Bai Huizi’s fingers, painted deep wine red, climbed onto Su Li’s shoulder, her eyelashes nearly grazing her cheek.
The tingling sensation spread across Su Li’s skin, though she didn’t react strongly.
She simply let Bai Huizi hold her, letting her release the emotions within.
‘Little Su Li smells like she’s been in the sun.’
‘Just smelling you makes me feel like I’m basking in sunlight, all warm and gentle.’
Bai Huizi murmured softly, her lips brushing Su Li’s jawline, leaving a damp, cool trace.
As the air conditioner’s breeze swept across her neck, Bai Huizi’s cool nails lifted Su Li’s chin, guiding her gaze to meet hers.
Their eyes locked.
Bai Huizi’s long eyelashes fluttered gently, glancing at the edge of Su Li’s lips, like the faint stain left after biting a cherry.
The scent of mint smoke suddenly overwhelmed the senses.
When Bai Huizi’s canine tooth brushed Su Li’s lower lip, Su Li’s fingers unconsciously clutched the seam of the sofa.
The sensation of the silk strap slipping from her shoulder was as smooth as shedding skin, while Bai Huizi’s curls tickled her ears.
Realizing she could no longer grip the sofa, Su Li held onto Bai Huizi instead.
When Bai Huizi’s lipstick brushed the corner of her mouth, Su Li closed her eyes slowly, letting Bai Huizi release her inner tension on her.
Even when Bai Huizi suddenly bit her tongue, though it hurt slightly, Su Li didn’t make a sound, quickly muffled again by heavier kisses.
‘Have you been with other girls just now?’
‘Why do you smell like another girl?’
Bai Huizi asked, puzzled. Before Su Li could answer, she tilted her head and bit Su Li’s tightly pressed lips, her tongue carrying the sharp sweetness of mint candy, driving deeply inside.
The sofa cushion slipped to the floor. The glass cup on the tea table reflected Bai Huizi’s leg hooked behind Su Li’s neck. Her soft slippers fell onto Su Li’s foot with a soft “plop.”
‘Mmm.’
After a long while, the sweet scent of peaches lingered faintly between them.
Bai Huizi released Su Li’s lips, her gaze slightly dazed.
She looked at the lipstick mark left on Su Li’s mouth, lifting her face to wipe it away.
Su Li, however, suddenly cupped the back of her head.
She understood Bai Huizi’s desire. Acting now would bring more money.
It was the key to a better life for her and Cat.
Su Li didn’t have much of a reaction to these mechanical interactions.
She needed money. Lots of money.
With it, she could give Cat a better life.
A life not like the wandering, unsettled one they had endured before.
The warm glow of the bedside lamp cast shadows of Su Li’s long eyelashes on her nose. Bai Huizi could even count each of her lashes.
But her mind wasn’t on that.
She felt her heart racing, her breathing quickening.
When Su Li’s breath brushed the corner of her lips, her grip on Su Li’s hair tightened and loosened, a soft whimper escaping her throat.
Su Li’s lips were cooler than she expected. The moment they touched, Bai Huizi felt like a dandelion trembling in the wind.
‘I wasn’t planning to go too far since I still had work later, but Little Su Li… you’re playing with fire,’ Bai Huizi said, breathless.
Seeing Su Li’s fragile appearance stirred a long-forgotten excitement in her heart.
This thrilling feeling only appeared when she was with Su Li.
Seeing Su Li’s usually expressionless face triggered her competitive streak.
She wanted to tease Su Li.
To make her cry.
To see some other expression cross her otherwise impassive face.
Yet, strangely, Su Li, though seemingly delicate, was more energetic than her.
She refused to admit she was the weaker one.
The final victor would be her.
Bai Huizi, breathing heavily, propped herself up, her fingertips sinking into the fabric on Su Li’s shoulders.
Her water-glossed peach-colored eyes shone, and her long curls brushed Su Li’s collarbone, scented with hair oil and coconut.
She suddenly bit Su Li’s lower lip with her canine, nibbling like a mint candy, savoring the taste.
‘Little Su Li…’
Bai Huizi whispered, her voice muffled, suddenly pressing down with intensity.
The cold silk strap slid across Su Li’s wrist. Bai Huizi’s knees parted Su Li’s legs, her wine-red nails gripping the back of her neck.
As the air-conditioned breeze swept across her back, Bai Huizi increased her force, pressing Su Li firmly into the sofa cushions.
