Seraphina looked toward the door again, feeling somewhat at a loss.

To her surprise, Dekalorin had already disappeared at some point!

“Repay… repay? I don’t know…” 

She lowered her head, her voice growing softer and softer.

“Sister, it seems like you don’t lack anything… What could I possibly give you?”

She was genuinely confused.

Given Movira’s strength and status, she really couldn’t think of anything worthwhile she could offer.

“H-Hold you?!” 

Seraphina’s cheeks instantly flushed as red as a ripe apple.

She looked up in disbelief, meeting Movira’s eyes.

This request… was a bit too much… But when she thought about it carefully, there really wasn’t anything else she could give her.

This was the only thing she could do, and it was something Movira had never experienced before.

She struggled internally.

However, when she recalled the pressure Movira had faced on the podium in front of so many eyes, she felt she had no choice but to repay her.

In the end, Seraphina nodded slightly, her voice as quiet as a mosquito’s buzz.

“O-Okay… but just this once!”

Movira’s smile grew even brighter.

She immediately pressed her advantage.

“Looks like we have no choice but to sleep right now!”

Seraphina was stunned for a moment.

She looked up at the bright sunlight streaming through the window.

“Now? You want to sleep right now? But…”

It was too sudden, and she wasn’t mentally prepared at all.

She could only reply softly, “Mm… alright, if you want to sleep now.”

Seraphina’s cute, innocent, yet helplessly serious way of honoring her promise made Movira unable to hold back a soft “Pfft” of laughter.

All her previous teasing melted into genuine delight.

“I’m not sleepy yet.

We’ll do it at noon.

You should prepare yourself properly too.” Movira reached out and gently ruffled the top of Seraphina’s hair.

“Sister!” 

Realizing that Movira had been joking and deliberately teasing her, Seraphina couldn’t help but stomp her foot in protest.

“Seriously! Treating me like this… Fine, we’ll talk about it at noon then!”

Time flew by very quickly—at least it felt that way to Seraphina.

The afternoon sunlight poured through the windows, brightly illuminating the room.

After lunch, the room fell into a quiet stillness.

Seraphina knew it was time to fulfill the promise.

She dragged her feet over to the side of the bed and sat down, her fingers nervously twisting the bedsheet.

Her gaze remained lowered, not daring to look at Movira beside her.

Although she had agreed to it herself, now that the moment had arrived, a strong wave of shame surged through her.

“Um… are you ready?” 

Movira’s voice, laced with anticipation, broke the silence.

Seraphina let out a soft sigh.

She slowly moved to the center of the bed, slipped under the spread quilt, and then very hesitantly spread her arms open just a little.

This action felt incredibly awkward to her.

Previously, only Movira had ever done this… A deep blush quickly spread across her cheeks.

“Alright, here I come.” 

Movira didn’t hesitate in the slightest.

In fact, she was quite eager.

She lay down on her side, pressing her entire body close and nestling perfectly into Seraphina’s embrace.

“I-I’m smaller… I can’t handle you moving so much.”

Though she didn’t want to admit it, in front of the tall and voluptuous Movira, she really did look more like a child.

“Mmm, I won’t move.” 

Movira’s muffled voice came from against her chest.

She adjusted her position one final time to fit even more snugly into Seraphina’s embrace before going completely still.

“I promised to let you hold me, so I won’t move.”

Even though she said so, those few little wriggles from earlier had already made Seraphina’s sensitive chest feel ticklish, as if brushed by a feather.

Seraphina did her best to adapt and maintained the somewhat stiff hugging posture.

The room finally fell quiet.

Perhaps due to the mental exhaustion from the morning, combined with the “heavy burden” in her arms that somehow brought her peace, Seraphina couldn’t resist the drowsiness any longer.

Her consciousness gradually blurred as she drifted into a light, hazy slumber.

Beside her ear was Seraphina’s gentle breathing and the gradually steadying rhythm of her heartbeat.

Her nose was filled with the milky scent from Seraphina’s chest, leaving her utterly intoxicated.

The soft area pressed against her cheek, the slightly cool skin beneath, and its gentle rises and falls all made her heart race at a frightening speed—like long-parched, cracked earth finally receiving the sweet spring rain it had longed for.

This noon might have been nothing more than a brief rest for Seraphina, but for Movira, it was a long and deeply meaningful experience.
