Chapter 7 : What a Great Body!

Li Yiming threw a punch directly at the zombie’s face.

It felt like his fist had sunk into a ball of dough.

It didn’t move again.

Li Yiming had made his first kill.

He glanced at the dagger—its blade still slick with dark red blood and clinging bits of brain matter.

To his surprise, he didn’t feel the urge to gag or vomit.

No wonder Teacher Luo Xiang said, “Everyone harbors a devil within.”

Looks like the devil inside him… was more brutal than he thought.

He felt no discomfort at all at the bloody scene before him.

Instead, he silently squatted down, wiped the blade clean on the zombie’s tattered clothes, and tucked the dagger back away.

He got back in the car and restarted the engine.

The road was bumpy and uneven.

Li Yiming swerved left and right, maneuvering carefully…

Until finally—he saw the Sacred Heart Hospital in full view.

As a religious institution, its grand and imposing architecture left Li Yiming momentarily in awe.

This place is huge.

And it wasn’t just massive—

As he approached the main entrance of Sacred Heart Hospital, he started observing the situation inside the hospital grounds.

The closer he got, the more horrifying the scene became.

The square directly in front of the hospital’s outpatient building… was the very battlefield where the Tyrant had fought against SEAL Team Six.

From behind the fence, Li Yiming could only see it from afar—yet his eyelids couldn’t stop twitching.

The once clean, majestic square…

Now looked like a living hell.

Cratered ground from heavy gunfire.

Corpses of fully armed soldiers lying in brutal, twisted positions.

And that wasn’t even the worst of it.

Even from a distance, Li Yiming could see a crashed helicopter on the side of the plaza!

That majestic eagle of the skies— Now looked like a pile of twisted scrap metal, buried in a flowerbed.

It seemed this world was indeed progressing according to the comic’s plot, step by step.

Smelling the gunpowder in the air, Li Yiming quickened his pace.

Some zombies by the roadside had already been alerted by his movement.

But given their slow speed, Li Yiming could easily widen the distance just by light jogging.

These regular zombies posed no real threat to him.

Jogging steadily, Li Yiming soon arrived at the main gate of Sacred Heart Hospital.

Right at the entrance, he came across the corpse of a SEAL Team Six member.

The guy had died a particularly gruesome death.

His lower jaw, along with the skin around his neck, had completely disappeared.

His bright red windpipe and long tongue were fully exposed to the open air.

It looked like the Tyrant had ripped off his jaw with bare hands.

It was what was lying next to him.
