Chapter 7: Six

“No, I can’t change here…!”

Her clothes were already starting to hang loose. 

Her frame rapidly shrank, limbs growing slender, and all the muscle she’d once had seemed to melt away, leaving her soft and powerless.

Her shoes no longer fit. 

After just two steps, they were left behind. 

Wu Yi staggered forward, her now bare, tender feet slapping against the ground as she struggled toward the forest.

“Damn, I’m losing sight…”

Thick black fog crept in from the edges of her vision, swirling toward the center. 

In just a few breaths, it had swallowed most of her field of view, and it showed no sign of stopping.

“Haa—ah—haa—”

Wu Yi leaned against a small tree, gasping desperately.

Her vision had gone completely dark. 

She’d lost her sight entirely.

Unable to see and with no sense of direction, she could only run blindly, like a headless fly.

“Boom—!”

“Damn it! That hurt…”

She crashed forehead-first into a tree while running blind.

Like a dumb rabbit in a fable, waiting to hit something.

She got up, ran again, hit again…

And eventually, after who knows how long—she finally…

…knocked herself unconscious.

When she opened her eyes again, everything was still pitch-black.

It was as though she were locked in a sealed box, no exits, not a sliver of light within sight.

The endless darkness triggered a primal fear, shackling her limbs with invisible chains. 

She didn’t dare move… wait, what?

“Mm—?”

It wasn’t her imagination— she really was tied up.

She couldn’t move her arms or legs at all. 

Her body was tightly bound by something soft and fine, like premium silk.

Though she couldn’t see, the luxurious texture against her skin made her realize— this was probably a bed. 

And she was lying spread-eagle in the center, completely restrained.

Like a helpless lamb offered up for sacrifice, awaiting a devil’s embrace.

“Hel… help…”

She tried to scream, but her body was frail and sickly— at full effort, she could only manage the faintest whimper, like the rustling of orchids in spring, utterly powerless. 

If anything, it only enticed the evil further.

The cold night wind brushed over her delicate body, sending shivers down her already hyper-sensitive frame.

—This, clearly, was not her usual powerful demoness form.

—This was a rarer state: the Seer.

No strength. 

Fragile and ill. 

Even her sight was gone. 

But her perception and cognition had been greatly heightened.

“Shhh, don’t be afraid~”

A warm, fragrant breeze suddenly brushed against her ear. 

The tingle of it shot through her body like an electric current.

Only then did Wu Yi realize— there had been a girl lying next to her all along.

The girl’s voice was seductive and strange, the kind that could melt a man’s bones with a single whisper, making him willingly surrender body and soul.

For someone as hypersensitive as Seer-form Wu Yi, that voice was more than alluring— it assaulted her very soul like a siren’s song.

A Voice of Corruption?! 

No— this was beyond even the strongest succubi of the past.

What kind of monster was this?

“Who… who are you?” Wu Yi stammered.

“We’ve lived together so long, must you pretend not to know?”

What nonsense? 

She’d never met such a dangerously seductive creature!

“Let… me go!”

Her cheeks were gently cupped.

The girl’s hands were slender and soft, lovingly stroking Wu Yi’s bound face. 

“Don’t be scared. I’ll be very gentle…”

Her tone was wicked, fallen but utterly without malice. 

In fact, it instinctively inspired trust.

Wu Yi couldn’t see. 

The darkness terrified and isolated her.

In such a desperate, vulnerable state, that touch and voice became her only source of comfort.

Even if that comfort was poisoned, eroding reason and luring her into blind submission.

She had no choice. Her instincts kept urging her to give in to let this girl take over her body, mind, and soul.

“Who… are you really?” 

Wu Yi bit her lip and asked.

With her sight gone, all her other senses had sharpened. 

She could clearly feel something cold and slithering a tendril wrapping around from her back, slowly winding toward her neck.

The tendril slid upward, brushing her lips, trying to pry them open and pour in some sweet venom.

“Well then, since you insist…”

The tendril paused.

And was replaced by something smoother, warmer like an animal’s tail wrapping gently around her body.

It felt… comforting.

The girl’s voice leaned close again, softly brushing against her ear:

“In the eternal mansion of R’lyeh, Cthulhu lies dreaming, awaiting you.”

“I am the new Queen of R’lyeh, heir to the bloodline of the seductress foxes. Sixth child of the family, your… daughter.”
