In the distance, the Head Nurse was scolding a Little Nurse, but they couldn’t make out exactly what was being said.

Staying low, the two of them slowly crept toward the edge of the corridor.

In truth, as soon as Bai Yue stepped out, the Head Nurse noticed her, but she continued to scold the Little Nurse without any intention of stopping.

Mu Chenxi had a vague feeling they had been spotted.

But when she looked over at the Head Nurse, the other party ignored her completely, focusing only on berating the Little Nurse.

“Thank you, Head Nurse.”

As soon as she heard about a pay raise, the Little Nurse cheered up instantly, forgetting her previous grievances and bowing repeatedly in thanks.

At this moment, the Little Nurse noticed Bai Yue and Mu Chenxi heading toward the corridor.

Bai Yue didn’t even notice they’d been discovered. She continued to creep forward, crouched low and sneaking along.
