Description

“Selim Nutrisk?” Cecilia heard the name and cried out in surprise.

“You mean…” She pointed at the panting Selim. “You mean she is Selim Nutrisk?”

“Yeah. Weren’t you looking for Selim Nutrisk to sign your pass?” Sophia glanced at the woman lying on the bed, who was currently gasping for air.

“Cecilia, are you done signing? If you are, then there is nothing left for you here. You can leave now. I have some private matters to discuss with Selim.”

Sophia issued an order for her guest to leave. She was already giving Cecilia a lot of face; this was the tolerance she showed as a Former Saintess.

“Senior Selim…” Cecilia looked at Selim on the bed, and her eyes suddenly turned red. Tears rolled down her cheeks and dripped onto the floor.

“Senior Selim, even if you don’t like me anymore, I still love you.”

After saying that, Cecilia rushed forward and pounced onto Selim. Her lips pressed firmly against Selim’s.

Then, Cecilia took the initiative to launch an attack.

If Selim had been in her normal state, she might have been able to resist for a moment. However, under the **[Blessing State]**, she couldn’t even react. Before Sophia could even process what was happening, Cecilia had already succeeded.

*Crash!*

The armor plates carrying the fruit fell to the ground, scattering the contents everywhere.

Looking at Selim and Cecilia kissing, Sophia’s lake-like green eyes were filled with utter disbelief.

The current Sophia felt as if she had saved her favorite food for the very end to enjoy, only for someone else to snatch it away in a crude manner at the last possible second.

Or to put it another way, the thing she had been carefully protecting was now being defiled by someone else.

Sophia suddenly felt as if this was all a dream — something that had nothing to do with her.

First came a sense of helplessness, followed immediately by a surge of resentment, as if someone had stolen her money.

“Senior Selim…” Cecilia raised her head and looked at Selim, whose face was flushed and who hadn’t resisted her. She smiled brilliantly and prepared to launch a second attack.

But before she could move, Cecilia was lifted into the air by Sophia, who grabbed her like one would a kitten.

A second later, Cecilia was thrown out the door.

Sophia walked outside with heavy steps. Under her foot, one of the **[Color Marrow Fruit]** was crushed into fine powder. Unconsciously, she was using this method to vent the intense resentment in her heart.

“Was it comfortable?” Sophia stood before the door, looking down at Cecilia.

“Senior Sophia, what are you doing?” Cecilia stood up without showing any weakness, intending to push past Sophia. “Move aside, don’t disturb me and Senior Selim.”

“I asked you, was it comfortable?” Sophia held Cecilia down with just one hand. Her gaze grew colder as she stared at the other woman.

“It was very comfortable! So, Senior Sophia, can you move out of the way now?” Cecilia didn’t notice Sophia’s unusual behavior. All her thoughts were currently fixed on Selim.

And Cecilia’s words happened to push Sophia to the edge of her patience.

“Sophia, calm down first.” Selim, who was behind them, had regained a bit of her sanity. She wiped the residue from her face, wanting to cool down the tension between the two.

“It’s fine. This has nothing to do with you.” Sophia turned her head and gave Selim a faint smile before closing the bedroom door.

“Get some rest. I’m going to handle some private matters.”

It wasn’t until the door separated them and she could no longer see Selim that Cecilia’s gaze refocused on Sophia.

“What do you want? Didn’t you say you were willing to support my romance?”

“I’m taking it back…” Sophia grabbed Cecilia’s collar and dragged her away.

“I take back everything I said.”

“Cecilia, I curse your love. You will never be able to find happiness.”

“What did you say?” Hearing this, Cecilia struggled violently. She didn’t understand why Senior Sophia was repeatedly stopping her from seeing Senior Selim, even going so far as to curse her.

But this didn’t mean Cecilia lacked a temper. She pointed at Sophia’s nose and said, “Then I curse you too! You’ll never be able to find happiness either!”

“Is that so?”

Sophia pulled off one of her gloves and threw it in front of Cecilia.

“Let’s duel, Cecilia.”

“Right now, I want to give you a thorough thrashing.”

“I don’t have time to duel with you. Move!” Cecilia didn’t care about Sophia’s duel invitation. She only wanted to go back to her Senior Selim to ask her clearly why she wanted her to leave.

A burst of **[Deep Blue Flames]** swept past, forcing Cecilia to jump back to dodge.

Sophia answered Cecilia with actions.

Feeling the surge of **[Frost]**, Cecilia clearly realized that the other party wasn’t joking.

“You want to fight me?” Cecilia looked at Sophia. Her blue eyes, which should have been very beautiful, were now filled with enough anger.

“Fine! Since Senior Sophia insists on standing between me and Senior Selim, then let’s have a fight!”

Cecilia took a deep breath and said to Sophia, “Not here. I’m afraid of hurting Senior Selim.”

“My thoughts exactly!” Sophia gripped her rapier and turned to walk downstairs. “Follow me. Let’s have a satisfying fight.”

Cecilia followed closely behind Sophia. However, before she had gone more than a few steps, she turned back and shouted at the top of her lungs, “Senior Selim, wait for me! After I finish dealing with Sophia, let’s continue, okay?”

“Shut up, you shameless woman!” When Sophia heard this, she thought back to the scene she had witnessed in the bedroom.

Sophia regretted it now. After all, she was the one who had brought Cecilia in. In a way, she had led a wolf into her own house.

She had even been the one to point out the direction of Selim’s room.

Sophia didn’t want to think about why Selim was involved with Cecilia right now.

That feeling was like her treasure being stolen just when she was about to approach it herself. She only wanted to vent the resentment in her heart.

“Hmph, what’s it to you?”

Cecilia had never been afraid of a fight. In her eyes, Sophia was a stumbling block on her path to happiness.

In the world between Cecilia and Selim, there should be no room for Sophia.

Leaning against the balcony, Selim watched as the two stopped talking and walked out of the **[Estate]** side by side in a strange silence.

Selim had completely regained her rationality after the two left the room, but her logic told her that stepping out earlier would not have resolved the conflict. Instead, it would have added fuel to the fire.

Therefore, she could only let them go outside to vent their frustrations.

Based on Selim’s understanding of Cecilia and Sophia, although there might be a difference in their strength, it shouldn’t reach the point where they would take each other’s lives.

At this moment, she was lying on the bed, rubbing her temples repeatedly.

“Forget it. This is getting out of hand.”

But as long as no one died, there was still a chance to fix the mess.

The **[Ritual of the Soul Mother]** had been running for a long time, but it had only reached its peak a short while ago, which was why it had appeared on Selim’s **[Data Panel]**.

There were still a few hours left of this damn **[Blessing]**.

Selim decided to ignore Sophia and Cecilia for now. She closed her eyes to sleep, planning to let the time limit of this effect pass before dealing with anything else.
