Chapter 45: Pounced Over

In the midst of their conversation, time passed quickly. 

Huai Xiang had already returned to her seat and was obediently attending class.

On the platform, the teacher was slowly lecturing. 

Huai Xiang, however, was a little distracted.

Her mind was full of An Yu expressionlessly meowing like a cat.

So super cute!

Moreover, she felt that An Yu no longer resisted her as much as at the beginning. 

Did that mean they were already friends?

If they were friends, next time the three of them went out to play, maybe they could bring An Yu along!

She had forgotten she was still in class.

Huai Xiang instantly felt like crying. As expected, it wasn’t that simple. 

She dejectedly stood up, left her seat, and walked to the back to stand.

It was said to be explaining the problem, but how could she?

Standing at the back looking dejected, Huai Xiang saw a small head turn around from the front row to look at her.

Huai Xiang subconsciously raised her head and met that person’s gaze. 

The person had beautiful amber eyes, seeming to comfort her.

It was An Yu. 

She expressionlessly nodded at Huai Xiang before turning back.

Huai Xiang was instantly moved to tears.

Waaah, even though she was being punished to stand, she got comforted by little An Yu. Totally worth it!

However, An Yu had no idea what Huai Xiang was thinking. She had just been spacing out. 

When the teacher called someone to stand, she turned around out of curiosity.

Seeing Huai Xiang looking at her, An Yu subconsciously nodded. 

After all, Huai Xiang gave her tasty food too. 

She was a good person.

But class was really boring…

What came next in the plot again?

At school… it seemed to involve Li Wenya.

But Li Wenya had disappeared somewhere. She hadn’t shown up since that day.

Really strange…

An Yu expressionlessly raised her head. 

The teacher on the platform was still lecturing.

As expected, it was so boring. 

She wanted to apply for the privilege of a seat that could fit two people.

Just thinking about the plot for a short while, An Yu fell into a state of not wanting to think. 

She couldn’t focus on things she wasn’t interested in.

Or perhaps because this part of the plot had nothing to do with her, An Yu cared even less.

After all, in the original plot at this stage, An Yu was still a behind-the-scenes character.

“Good night.”

With that, An Yu closed her eyes, leaving Ning Wanciu frozen in place.

What… was this situation again?

Ning Wanciu felt the classroom suddenly go quiet. Everyone seemed to simultaneously look over at her.

She was now holding An Yu. Letting go wasn’t right, not letting go wasn’t right either.

“An Yu, An Yu, you can’t say good night… class is starting soon, An Yu?” 

Ning Wanciu said helplessly in a soft voice.

But An Yu ignored her and just rubbed again.

She had only come to confirm a small matter.

Because her little sister was afraid of being hated by An Yu, she came to ask if anything had really happened.

Although Ning Wanciu thought Ning Dongli was just overthinking.

But as a big sister, she wouldn’t delay her sister’s request. 

So during the break after the first period, Ning Wanciu came over.

She saw An Yu sitting at her desk, nodding off little by little, looking very sleepy, and subconsciously called out to her.

Then… it turned into this.

Ning Wanciu held An Yu. 

The gazes of her classmates made her feel like there were thorns in her back.

“Really… An Yu, wake up. It’s not noon yet?” 

Ning Wanciu said helplessly. 

“Let’s sleep together at noon, okay?”

She reached out and gently pinched An Yu’s little cheek, trying to wake her.

But, mm… the texture was really nice.

Ning Wanciu unconsciously pinched again, then revealed a helpless smile.
