Chapter 37: My Little Sister’s Chest Feels Hot?!

Gabriella stared at her reflection, memories of the past suddenly surfacing.

Back when she had just transmigrated, everything felt strange, but as time passed, she gradually grew accustomed to this body.

Gabriella muttered to herself.

Gabriella suddenly thought of her idiot little sister.

After changing into her maid dress, she went downstairs to the maids’ lounge and ran right into Elsa.

At that moment, Elsa was curled up on the sofa, clutching her chest.

A faint flush colored her cheeks, making her look like a girl who had just finished pleasuring herself.

Gabriella hadn’t meant to disturb her.

But the other girl had already noticed her arrival, so Gabriella greeted her anyway.

“Good morning~ Little sister, you’re up awfully early. It’s only five o’clock, you know?”

“S-Sis… I mean, Lady…”

Elsa lifted her head slightly, gazing at her with hazy eyes.

Gabriella had still been wondering whether the horns on her head would scare her and was preparing an excuse to fool her silly little sister, but she instantly realized something was wrong with Elsa’s body.

Gabriella walked over, touched Elsa’s burning forehead, then quickly helped her up and laid her back on the sofa.

“Elsa, how are you feeling?”

“So hot… Sis… uhh…”

“Hot?”

Gabriella had long known that her sister was cursed—the same demonification curse that she herself had suffered from.

“Did Liya do something to you?”

A pure-black diamond pattern.

Unlike the mark on Gabriella’s own abdomen, at the very center of Elsa’s black diamond was a scarlet demonic eye pattern that continuously exuded dark mist.

“Elsa, does it hurt a lot?”

Gabriella asked cautiously.

“N-No… I… I rarely feel like this… It actually feels… really good.”

“Good?”

Gabriella’s own cheeks flushed. 

She had certainly experienced something similar herself.

Craving Isabella’s caresses, craving the favor of the Demon King who was her master.

That sensation couldn’t exactly be called painful—it only made one anticipate it terribly.

Which was precisely why she was in her current state.

“Elsa, take deep breaths. Remember the magic I taught you? Calm yourself.”

A strand of magic appeared in Gabriella’s hand and coiled around the back of Elsa’s hand. 

Elsa began breathing deeply as instructed, while Gabriella gathered silvery magic power of her own.

For a knight, mindset is everything.

That was the secret Gabriella had once taught her: when facing an enemy you cannot defeat, the difference between victory and defeat comes down to mindset. 

Only by staying calm, observing, and thinking of countermeasures can one be a qualified knight.

“Haa…”

Elsa’s breathing gradually steadied. 

The unbearable heat in her body subsided, though the flush on her face had not yet faded.

She looked up at her sister gratefully and gave a sweet smile. 

“Big Sister~”

Gabriella let out a long sigh of relief.

She naturally understood what was happening. Liya had been rather proactive lately.

Since Gabriella had not yet given her sister any [Gift], this was the result.

“If possible, don’t accept Liya’s dark magic power. It will turn you into a demon,” Gabriella said, gently patting Elsa’s head. 

“Got it?”

Elsa seemed to remember something and hurriedly added, “It’s not Miss Liya’s fault. She’s always… really good to me…”

“I know, little sister.”

“Mm.”

Elsa nodded.

Gabriella knew that merely enduring the demonification curse was not enough.

“Elsa, if you can, leave with the knight order. A few hundred meters beneath the Sacred Tree there’s a hidden chamber… Inside is a magical tool that can lift curses.”

After hearing this, however, Elsa looked unhappy. She gazed at Gabriella with a wronged expression.

“Big sis, I can endure it…”

“Really? It’s going to be really tough.”

“I’ll be fine.”

Elsa’s tone was extraordinarily firm, as though the girl being eroded by the curse wasn’t her at all.

Only then did she notice the horns on Gabriella’s head. 

“Big sis… have you already accepted too many [Gifts]?”

“No…”

Gabriella had thought it was nothing—after all, it was part of the plan—but how did this idiot sister immediately jump to [Gifts]?!

Well… she had accepted a few too many, true…

But it wasn’t what she thought!

She was only doing it to please Lady Isabella and lay the groundwork for the future plan.

Feeling she couldn’t explain herself clearly, Gabriella simply shook her head, putting on an unconcerned expression.

“It’s nothing.”

Yet unexpectedly, Elsa stared fixedly at her horns, her cheeks turning red.

“Sis… I want… to touch them.”

“Absolutely not!”

Gabriella quickly stepped away from the sofa. 

Was this sister trying to humiliate her or what?

“Sis, let’s go make breakfast. After we eat, I still need to see Philina off, then I’ll come back tonight… Oh, right, Lady Liya asked me to pass on a message.”

“What is it?”

“There’s a new maid application. She wants Lady Gabriella to confirm it.”

“Did Liya already approve?”

“Mhm, she did.”

Gabriella took a long look at her smiling little sister and suddenly felt like there was some kind of conspiracy afoot.

Still, if it was a maid personally chosen by Liya, there shouldn’t be any problems.
