Chapter 20: Evil God? No Way~

“Lord Demon King doesn’t want to eat leftovers.”

That’s what she said with her mouth.

But Gabriella cared deeply.

She was particularly concerned about why Lady Isabella was working so late.

After finishing dinner preparations, she had heard from the other maids that Isabella was still buried in work.

She hadn’t gone to disturb the Demon King with Elsa; instead, she waited quietly.

But by nine o’clock at night, Isabella still hadn’t emerged. 

At this point, the dinner had lost its freshness.

Deep down, she already knew the answer: Isabella was working this late because of all those trivial human matters!

Those humans are actually getting in the way of me raising the Demon King’s affection!

Don’t these humans ever quit?

Gabriella thought subconsciously.

Though she was also quite curious about what plans or schemes the humans were hatching.

Now was exactly the time to start investigating and getting involved.

She bid farewell to her little sister and brewed some passionfruit black tea for the Demon King.

Afterward, she took a bath, making her body all steamy and fragrant with the scent of flower petal body wash. 

It would make the night much more comfortable for Lady Demon King… Then, even though the Demon King had said she wasn’t eating anything, Gabriella still snuck into the kitchen and made a bowl of tomato meat sauce pasta, placing it by the bedside in the bedroom.

Steam rose gently from the teacup on the table.

Gabriella wore a thin nightgown. 

Her firm, full thighswithout a trace of excess fatpressed together. 

Her slender girl’s hands rested lightly over her lower abdomen as she closed her eyes, like a little kitten waiting patiently for her master’s arrival.

Soon, the Demon King finished her bath and returned to the bedroom.

She ate some of the meat sauce pasta and drank the sweet-and-tart passionfruit tea.

A relaxed smile finally appeared on her face, natural and gentle, like a spring breeze brushing over a meadow.

Too bad her poor little sister couldn’t see this scene of me so completely dominating the Demon King’s emotions~

Gabriella thought to herself and smiled as well.

“Lord Demon King, I’ll go clean up.”

She started to stand and take away the Demon King’s plate, but her hand was caught.

“Tonight, don’t go anywhere.”

“Mmm, okay~”

Gabriella had the feeling that today’s Isabella had an even stronger desire to possess her?

Soon, she realized it wasn’t just a feeling.

The Demon King, after slipping off her dress, revealed her blood-stirring figure.

But it seemed the Demon King preferred looking at her even more.

Accompanying her to sleep was the duty of both the Demon King’s wife and her personal maid, after all.

It wasn’t their first time anyway, so Gabriella didn’t think Isabella would just casually get handsy with her.

“Lord Demon King~” She let out a soft, melting voice.

The warm breath Gabriella exhaled wandered through the covers, warming both their bodies.

“Lord Demon King, did something happen tonight?”

“Human matters… The knight order is stationed in the Black Stone Mountains, and they’ve sent even more people to scout our side.”

“As expected of those detestable guys.”

A hint of displeasure entered Gabriella’s voice.

“Crossing into the Demon Domain is disrespect toward us in the first place. If possible, Lord Demon King, let me deal with them.”

“I believe in you.”

“I’ll find a way.”

Gabriella didn’t understand why the Demon King so readily agreed to let her get involved.

She’s not afraid I’ll team up with the humans and sneak away?

“Gabriella, your belly~”

At that moment, she noticed the Demon King looking at her lower abdomen with a mischievous glint in her eyes.

Gabriella looked down as well.

Her full breasts strained against the nightgown, and lower still, on her smooth, jade-like abdomen with faint muscle definition, there was a glowing purple mark.

Normally, a mark appearing on the body was proof of a curse.

Gabriella immediately realized she had been cursed by the demonic corruption.

But…

What was originally just a tiny diamond pattern was now gradually growing larger!

From a small diamond, it slowly transformed into a tense, taut four-pointed star.

Upward-curving lines appeared at the ends of the star, like half-drawn little wings. 

It was as if a plant that had absorbed nutrients for years was slowly growing on her body.

So it really is from accepting too much [Gift]!

“Gabriella, you don’t feel anything unusual, right?” Isabella asked cautiously.

“I-I’m fine…”

That’s what she said, but of course she felt it!

If left alone, her body would occasionally heat up, starting to crave the [Gift].

And now this idiot Isabella was reaching out to touch it!

“Don’t…”

So itchy, so warm.

It was said that when a demon kin was touched by their masterespecially on this mark symbolizing “ownership”their body would heat up.

Gabriella’s body had now proven it was true.

She immediately placed her hand over Isabella’s greedy one, but she didn’t pull the Demon King away. She hoped Isabella would get the hint and not push her luck!

“Don’t… Lord Demon King…”

Isabella just laughed. 

“I thought you really didn’t feel anything. This is the symbol of you being my kin, Gabriella. I wonder when you’ll turn into a demon… completely into a demon.”

“I-I don’t know either…”

“I’ll provide you with dark magic power. It’s somewhat different from your original power.”

“Mmm…”

Indeed.

Humans and demons actually used two different kinds of magic.

One was normal mana.

The kind demons used was called [Dark Magic Power].

Legend had it that thousands of years ago, an Evil God was born.

This so-called Evil God was a deity who sheltered “darkness,” wielding dark magic power.

According to legend, the Evil God once descended to the mortal world on a distant ancient battlefield.

If not for a certain [Goddess] who defeated her, humanity would have ceased to exist long ago.

As part of the world’s backstory, the Evil God’s combat prowess was invincible, to the point where the full might of an entire nation couldn’t shake her in the slightest.

Back then, Gabriella had rather hoped the game would feature the legendary “Evil God.”

After all, barring any surprises, Demon King Isabella was no match for her at all.

Ugh, why does that feel kinda weird?

A very bold idea flashed through Gabriella’s mind, but it was so outlandish that she instantly dismissed it herself.

How could the Demon King be the Evil God~?

So, whether it was the physical changes or using dark magic power, those were all signs of becoming a demon.

If she could help it, Gabriella had no desire to become a demon who wielded dark magic powerto fully transform into a race different from humans, grow a tail, and become a complete idiot utterly obedient to Isabella.

But I have a feeling… if I refuse to become a demon, the Demon King will be really sad.
