“Of course!”
Lumiya lifted her chin lightly, the tip of her golden tail swaying quietly behind her. Then she leaned in a bit closer, her voice soft as she added,
“But I’ve already turned into my Human Form, so you can’t forget the Mini Snacks you promised me yesterday~ I want exactly the same amount as before!”
She stared at Lin Xing’s slightly embarrassed face, a hint of anticipation hiding in her eyes.
Recently, Lumiya had decided not to keep up her original timid act any longer.
It would make things easier for her to directly ask Lin Xing for more Mini Snacks in the future.
The persona of Lumiya—blonde little loli—was meant to be straightforward and cute, after all!
And as for what Lin Xing thought?
Lumiya didn’t care. Let Lin Xing imagine whatever he wanted!
“But even though I’ve turned human, you can’t give me any fewer Mini Snacks~ I want exactly the same amount as yesterday!”
Lumiya looked at the slightly awkward Lin Xing and said directly,
“No problem! Whatever you want to eat, I’ll buy it for you!”
Lin Xing’s eyes sparkled like a wolf’s in the dark.
He carefully raised his hand, and as soon as his fingertips brushed against Lumiya’s warm Dragon Horn, the little one gently patted his hand away.
“Not here… not here, it feels weird.”
Lumiya twisted the edge of her nightdress with her fingers, glancing up at Lin Xing with a shy look, her voice as soft as cotton candy.
“But… but if you really want to touch it… then, that’s fine!”
As she finished the second half of her sentence, it was as if she mustered all the courage in her life, puffing up her tiny chest like a warrior going into battle.
But the tips of her ears turned so red they looked like they could bleed, and even her golden tail curled into nervous little loops behind her.
The Dragon Horns were the most prominent symbol of the Dragon Clan.
There was no way something like that would hide any sensitive nerves.
It wasn’t an exaggeration to say that, even if someone really cut off her Dragon Horns, she’d feel sorry for about three seconds at most.
After all, with her self-healing abilities, she could grow out a brand new pair in an instant, even shinier than before.
That’s how it should have been.
But when Lin Xing’s warm fingertips gently held her Dragon Horn,
Lumiya felt as if an electric current ran through her entire body, leaving her frozen in place.
A strange, indescribable feeling spread from her Dragon Horn to her heart, making her anxious and flustered.
W-what was this?
Could it be… the feeling of being conquered?
As the word “conquered” appeared in her mind, Lumiya snapped back to herself and glared fiercely at Lin Xing.
Lin Xing was completely oblivious to her internal struggle.
His fingers lightly traced the delicate texture of her Dragon Horn, his eyes filled with curiosity.
So this is what Dragon Horns feel like—smooth like jade, yet with a faintly matte texture.
His touch was gentle, as if handling fragile treasure. The warmth of his fingertips applied just the right amount of pressure.
For some reason, his fingers followed the curve of the Dragon Horn, then, without realizing, he opened his hand and wrapped his palm around it.
The warmth of his hand completely enveloped the small Dragon Horn, even the spaces between his fingers felt that delicate, slightly rough texture.
“Oh~ It fits my hand so well. It feels even better than I imagined!”
Lin Xing had no idea how intimate his actions were. He even unconsciously rubbed the horn a couple of times, his tone full of wonder.
That sudden, enveloping warmth shot through her like electricity. Lumiya froze instantly, her breath catching, her golden pupils shrinking to the size of pinpoints.
“A-are you done touching? Let go already!”
She was so flustered her voice changed pitch, slapping his hand away as her cheeks blushed bright red, her words coming out in little huffs.
Lin Xing finally realized he’d lost control, quickly pulling back his hand and scratching his head in embarrassment.
“Sorry, sorry, I didn’t mean to… I was just too curious.”
The two of them kept messing around until the middle of the night before finally settling down.
An exasperated Lumiya transformed back into her Dragon Form, curled up on Lin Xing’s pillow with her tail as a blanket, and soon her breathing became calm and even.
Lin Xing watched her sleeping profile under the moonlight, a smile on his lips that lingered until dawn broke and he finally drifted off to sleep.
The Alarm Clock hadn’t even rung yet that morning, but Lumiya was already woken up by the noisy chirping of birds outside the window.
She rubbed her sleepy eyes and sat up, her messy golden hair sticking out everywhere, making her look like a little lion cub with its fur on end.
Ever since Lumiya rediscovered her feelings as a “human,” she found herself even more fond of transforming back into her Human Form.
Last night, she turned into a little loli right in front of Lin Xing.
There was no need to change back before he woke up like she used to.
Seeing Lin Xing still asleep, Lumiya tiptoed over and gently poked his cheek with her finger.
“The sun’s already shining on your butt!”
Lin Xing groggily opened his eyes and saw the little loli with wild hair in front of him, unable to hold back a laugh.
“Lumiya, your hair is a mess.”
“Huh?”
Lumiya hurried over to the desk and started fussing with her hair in the small mirror.
Seeing her reflection—a head of wild, fluffy golden hair—she frowned, pinching a lock between her fingers. A faint golden light shimmered at her fingertips.
With the flow of Magic Power, her messy golden hair instantly turned smooth and glossy, the ends softly curled and neatly draped over her shoulders.
“That’s much better.”
She tilted her head at the mirror and shook it, humming in satisfaction.
Then she turned around—right into a gaze full of anticipation.
Lin Xing was standing at the door holding a brand-new pink dress, the tips of his ears faintly red.
“T-this is something Little White helped me pick out. Try it on, see if it fits?”
Lin Xing handed the dress forward, his gaze drifting as he nervously pinched the hem. Even his voice sounded a little unnatural.
In fact, ever since making the Contract with Lumiya, he couldn’t help but imagine what she’d look like in Human Form.
He secretly bought several sets of girls’ clothes, but since he couldn’t guess Lumiya’s size based on her dragon shape, he just bought every size of each style, afraid they wouldn’t fit once she transformed.
Lumiya looked at the puffy skirt and delicate lace, her mouth twitching slightly.
When she transformed, her dragon scales would automatically form clothes, which would change based on the observer’s perspective.
It could perfectly cover every spot that shouldn’t be seen, and could even change according to Lumiya’s own wishes, so really, there was no need for Lin Xing to buy her anything.
If she wanted, she could even transform into a sailor suit with white stockings for Lin Xing.
But when she met Lin Xing’s sparkling, expectant eyes, then looked at the pile of dresses in different sizes behind him, she swallowed the words she was about to say.
This guy put in so much effort. If she told him the truth now, he’d probably get all deflated again.
She reached out to take the dress, her fingertips accidentally brushing Lin Xing’s palm and feeling him tense up instantly.
Lumiya sneaked a peek at the lace at the hem, muttering to herself.
The fabric feels so soft, it probably wasn’t cheap. Most likely non-refundable too. Guess she’d just have to humor him.
She hugged the dress and ran into the bathroom, not forgetting to quietly crack the door open as she went.
She peeked out and saw Lin Xing anxiously rubbing his hands together, and couldn’t help but curve her lips into a secret smile.
A few minutes later, the bathroom door was gently pushed open.
Lumiya walked out in the pink dress. The skirt swayed gently past her knees with every step, and the lace shimmered softly in the morning light.
The tiny Dragon Horn on her forehead and the golden tail swishing behind her made the sweet dress even more lively and cute, making her look absolutely adorable.
“Well? How does it look?”
She deliberately spun in a little circle, the skirt flaring into a cute arc that showed off her fair thighs. Her eyes held a touch of expectation, though she pretended not to care.
Lin Xing was so stunned he forgot to blink, then nodded furiously after two seconds, mumbling under his breath,
“How did I forget to buy white stockings?”
