Red Pine City Magic School…….
No, it should now be called Crimson Academy. The outer square.
Early in the morning, the square was already packed to the brim.
The reason was simple—Crimson Academy had abandoned its previous identity-based invitation system and switched to a test-based admission method.
Moreover, it no longer restricted commoners from participating. They even specially increased tuition subsidies and offered various other benefits, all to recruit and train more students.
So now, the square was no longer just filled with children of nobles and the elite; ninety-nine percent of the people here wore simple clothing from commoner families. They had come to the square too.
“Is it true you get eggs just for registering?” “It’s true, I already got mine!”
“Really? I want to sign up too! I want eggs!” an elderly woman shouted loudly.
The crowd grew restless. At that moment, a middle-aged man in white robes stepped forward and addressed the agitated crowd.
“Any child aged thirteen or older can register to take the test!”
“Hey, that big-bellied woman over there, don’t push in!” It was a scene reminiscent of a bustling vegetable market.
There were five registration points in total, yet all were packed to capacity.
Some were happy, while others were frustrated.
By the roadside, a noblewoman sitting in a carriage rolled down her window, glanced outside, and immediately looked disdainful.
“Hmph, I don’t understand what the lord was thinking, letting commoners into a sacred academy. My heavens, she… how could she do such a thing!”
“Madam, please don’t say that. If we get labeled as rebels, it won’t be good for us.”
Beside the noblewoman, a slightly chubby middle-aged man frowned as he spoke.
The noblewoman instantly shut her mouth.
The three viscounts had only recently passed away, just days ago—their bodies barely cold—and the largest of the great houses had been directly slaughtered. They dared not speak out; they could only do as they were told.
“Damn, our nobility is becoming just like commoners.”
It wasn’t that no one wanted to leave, but where else could they run?
The neighboring White Stone City was in ruins, everyone knew that. It had become a stronghold for addicts and lost souls.
The West Wind Empire squeezed every layer of its people. Going there meant losing everything.
Salt Abundance City wasn’t any better, and going north was out of the question.
So, staying in Red Pine City was their only option.
At that moment, a carriage bearing the Asades Family crest slowly pulled up at the roadside, drawing many gazes.
People whispered, guessing which member of the Asades Family had arrived.
A girl with shoulder-length hair stepped down.
She wore a red jacket and a long black skirt. Her figure was graceful and charming, and her beauty stunned many onlookers instantly.
The noblewoman spying from inside the carriage muttered to herself.
“When did the Asades Family get such a beautiful young lady?”
“Should we go introduce ourselves?”
The couple discussed it briefly but decided against it. Some connections simply can’t be forced.
The reason they didn’t know Rosily was that Enya had manipulated the Dream World to erase much of the information about her and Rosily.
The rumors previously spread had all been digitally deleted.
Madam Phil—or rather, Madam Phil—was still a pure and innocent woman. Rosily was merely a beautiful girl of mysterious background.
After Rosily’s feet touched the ground, she turned toward the carriage door.
Estelle slowly descended from the carriage.
Rosily pouted.
Enya followed closely behind, and Rosily immediately smiled.
She didn’t care how many people were watching; she simply burrowed into Enya’s arms.
The moment Enya got down, Rosily hugged her tightly.
Looking at Rosily clinging to her, Enya was a bit helpless.
She ruffled Rosily’s hair and said, “There are a lot of people watching, Rosily. You don’t want them to say you’re a mama’s girl, do you?”
“I don’t mind,” Rosily said with a silly smile, blinking her big, bright eyes. She truly didn’t care about being called a mama’s girl.
Enya was exasperated by Rosily’s shamelessness.
She pinched Rosily’s cheek and then looked toward the steward, who had been watching quietly from the side for quite some time.
Seeing Enya’s glance, the steward finally spoke.
“Madam Phil, please follow me.”
“Mm, and please thank Miss Henna for me. I appreciate her handling these matters.”
Enya wore a gentle smile.
The steward nodded.
Backdoor entries like this were neither a big nor small matter for a lord; truly a minor issue that required no special repayment.
Yet the steward would still make sure the thanks were properly conveyed, especially since this was Madam Phil herself.
The queue in the square was for the commoners.
Nobles and young ladies were certainly unwilling to mingle with those they considered lowly commoners.
Some extreme nobles even believed that just a breath from a commoner could pollute the air.
So the path ahead was still long, and progress would be slow.
Led by the steward, Enya entered the school’s interior, accompanied by the two little ones.
Then, as before, a teacher came to escort them.
This was the moment for Enya and the two little ones to temporarily part ways.
After bidding a reluctant farewell with lingering gazes to Rosily and Estelle, Enya got back into the carriage and headed home.
Rosily and Estelle, the two sisters, followed the teacher through several classroom buildings until they reached an administrative building at the school.
Upon entering the hall, Rosily spotted a familiar figure.
“Elqi?”
The brown-haired girl immediately turned around at the familiar voice, her eyes brightening with delight, nearly unable to contain her emotions.
It had been so long since they parted; she missed Rosily dearly.
After steadying herself, Elqi glanced at the silver-haired girl in blue and black standing beside Rosily.
At first sight, she was stunned.
Such a beautiful girl, almost to the point of making her feel shabby in comparison!
She approached and looked at Estelle, then at Rosily, feeling a bit uneasy inside.
“So you didn’t come to school for so many days because of this woman by your side?”
At such an occasion, Rosily had obviously changed quite a bit compared to when she was with Enya—no longer clingy, but a graceful young lady.
“This is… my sister.”
“Sister?”
Elqi was surprised.
She quickly lifted her skirt slightly and bowed respectfully toward Estelle, then gave a brief self-introduction.
“Hello, my name is Elqi Ophield.”
“She’s Estelle.”
Rosily interrupted Estelle and said her name first.
