Chapter 69: The Nurse Who Can’t Refuse Knowledge

She led Mu Chenxi around the hospital, circling for quite a while without finding the exit.

At the corner of the corridor, the Head Nurse and the earlier Little Nurse were leaning against the wall, both growing anxious for the lost Bai Yue.

Bai Yue scratched her head in frustration.

She pulled Mu Chenxi to a Skewered Lamb stall and spoke to the Boss Lady, who was wearing a nurse uniform and an apron.

“Boss Lady, I want twenty Skewered Lamb, extra Chili Powder, and a bottle of Ice-cold Cola.”

As soon as the Nurse Boss Lady saw Bai Yue, she tensed up as if facing a formidable enemy, her tone stiff.

“Miss, are you her family? You should know the dietary restrictions for patients.”

“How do you know I’m a patient? Do I look sick?”

The Apron Nurse didn’t believe a word.

“Look who’s talking about manners.”

The Apron Nurse poured a glass of room-temperature cola, setting it down with a bang.

Clearly, she was still offended by Bai Yue’s earlier comments.

Bai Yue didn’t care at all, only urging Mu Chenxi.

“Eat up, Chenxi! It’s really good.”

Mu Chenxi nodded, taking a bite of grilled lamb.

The cumin mixed with the lamb’s smokiness, bursting in her mouth—it really was delicious.

Standing together at the stall, they quickly finished all the skewers and drained the cola.

The Apron Nurse nodded, placing the squid on the teppan.

Bai Yue grinned proudly, pointing to her own head.

The Apron Nurse replied with exasperation, rolling her eyes so hard they nearly flipped.

Bai Yue said with a mysterious smile.

“Knowledge?”

The Apron Nurse asked suspiciously.
