Released today (24th), “Dissolve” pre-reservation volume exceeds 400,000, reservation rate ranks 1st
The Movie “Dissolve” met its Release Day with pre-reservation volume exceeding 400,000.
As of 8:00 AM today, the 24th, this is the performance based on the real-time reservation rate of the integrated theater ticket computer network.
This is a personal new record for Director Jung Joonhee and the best record for a Korea Movie released this year.
Director Jung Joonhee has a solid Fan base with traditional Melodrama Artwork that does not follow trends, but because he has not seen much light in terms of popularity or commercial success so far, “Dissolve” is interpreted as an unusual Case.
There are speculations that the fact that it is the First Movie of global Star Yoon Jooho, who has nearly 50 million Followers, may have contributed to some extent to the reservation rate and topicality, but even considering that, it is an impressive performance given that it is a 19+ psychological thriller Melodrama Artwork rather than an entertainment Movie.
The Movie “Dissolve” opens today, the 24th, Christmas Eve, in theaters nationwide.
The break-even point for “Dissolve,” a Low-Budget Film, is 1.5 million viewers.
Officials expect it to surpass the break-even point within 2 to 3 days.
Meanwhile, to mark the Release Day, Stage Greetings by the “Dissolve” Actors are scheduled.
On the day reservations opened for screenings that included a Stage Greeting, the servers of the theaters were paralyzed all at once, becoming a hot topic.
Stage Greetings by the Actors will continue until the beginning of next year.
■
It was a little past 8:00 when they came down after finishing the last Stage Greeting.
Perhaps thanks to Yoon Jooho’s request, “Please do not leave your seats after the Stage Greeting and make sure to watch the Movie until the very end,” fortunately, there did not seem to be much Audience turnover.
To avoid confusion, the Actors quickly exited using the passageway exclusive to theater Staff.
Even so, dozens of Fans were already waiting for Yoon Jooho outside the exit.
Even after Yoon Jooho and Song Hyunsoo got into the Car, the Managers left behind had to restrain the Fans for safety.
As they pulled out of the parking lot, even more people were crowded in front of the theater.
Someone among them recognized Yoon Jooho’s Car, and in an instant, the crowd surrounded the Car.
It took more than 30 minutes just to get out from in front of the theater.
The two people, sitting side by side as if hiding in the third row of the Escalade, were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief only after the Car received the first straight signal and moved away from the theater.
“Hyung, what do you want to do? Should I take you straight House?”
Jungho in the driver’s seat asked, glancing in the rearview mirror at the back seat.
“Yeah, House.”
Yoon Jooho’s voice as he answered briefly sounded quite exhausted.
“It’s Christmas Eve. Are you not going anywhere?”
Song Hyunsoo, who was sprawled out next to Yoon Jooho, mumbled while rubbing his eyes with the back of his Hand.
“I don’t have the strength to even lift a finger. I don’t even need food; I just want to wash up and sleep…”
After finishing a total of 10 Stage Greetings at four theaters, both of them were exhausted.
“Well, even so, the Stage Greeting schedule was a bit tight, especially since you must have been sensitive because it was the Release Day.”
“I don’t even know with what mind I did the Stage Greeting. Jungho, did I say anything nonsensical?”
Song Hyunsoo straightened his slumped upper body and hugged the seat in the second row.
“There was no nonsense at all. The response was great, didn’t you feel it on the Stage?”
“When I stand there, I just can’t see anything. I can’t think of anything.”
“The number of Followers increased by more than 30,000 in just today!”
Even though he didn’t stand on the Stage, Jungho was the same in terms of handling the same schedule all day, but no sign of exhaustion could be seen in his voice.
Seeing him getting excited as he delivered the news that the number of Followers had increased, he seemed to be a natural-born Manager.
“The photo uploaded in the middle of the Stage Greeting earlier has over 20,000 Hearts now! The Audience reviews on SNS are also great, and the reservation rate is still number one.”
Yoon Jooho and Song Hyunsoo looked at each other.
Hearing that the Audience response was good, it seemed like their appetite returned and they gained some energy.
Still, it’s our First Movie Release Day, and it’s Christmas Eve. Should I suggest we eat some Cake at least?
While thinking about that, Song Hyunsoo made eye contact with Yoon Jooho, who was styled wonderfully.
Ah… he looks even sexier than usual because he’s tired, my Jooho Hyung.
“Hyunsoo Hyung, you’re getting a call.”
Jungho, who was waiting at a signal, stretched his body and held out the Phone.
It was Song Hyunsoo’s Phone, which Jungho had been managing while they carried out today’s schedule.
Song Hyunsoo unbuckled his seatbelt for a moment, leaned through the second-row seats, and took the Phone.
After checking the caller, he muttered to himself.
“Oh? It’s Jin Hyung.”
“……”
Jungho, sensing the atmosphere, quickly closed the Curtain between the first and second rows.
Song Hyunsoo glanced at Yoon Jooho.
“Should… I take it?”
“Since when did you start asking for my permission?”
Seeing that there was no change in his expression as he leaned his head against the Headrest, he really didn’t seem to care.
After all, we’re a solid couple now, enough that we don’t need to bicker over things like this anymore.
He connected the call, feeling proud inside.
“Hyung!”
[Song Hyunsoo. Congratulations on the Release Day.]
Jung Jin’s voice sounded excited.
“Haha. Thank you, Hyung.”
[The Manager told me earlier that your schedule would be over by this time.]
“That’s right. I’m in the Car right now.”
[On your way House?]
“Yes.”
[Together?]
“…Yes.”
Answering a tempo late, Song Hyunsoo’s gaze sought Yoon Jooho once more.
He was staring this way with his head leaned loosely against the Headrest.
Whether it was because of his languid eyes or his limp, relaxed posture, the atmosphere had been strangely sexy for a while now.
[You worked hard. There were quite a lot of Stage Greeting schedules for a Release Day.]
“I really don’t have my wits about me.”
[Yeah, I’m sure it was.]
Thud.
Yoon Jooho’s head rested on Song Hyunsoo’s right shoulder.
What a… surprise.
Just that alone made Song Hyunsoo swallow hard, feeling inexplicably nervous.
[I saw the Movie today too, Hyunsoo.]
“Oh? You already saw it today??”
[I watched it with Han.]
“It’s Christmas Eve, shouldn’t you have gone on a date?”
[We watched it as a date because it’s Christmas Eve.]
The two, who reside in Paris, were currently back in Korea to spend the end of the year.
They were scheduled to meet Song Hyunsoo in a few days.
[The Movie and the Yeongi were really good.]
“…Really?”
Jung Jin was a kind and gentle person, but he was not soft.
He would rather choose silence than throw out lip service he didn’t mean.
So to Song Hyunsoo, his recognition was more meaningful than a single line from any critic.
[I wanted to do Yeongi myself after watching the Movie. It was that impressive.]
It would probably be the highest praise for any Actor.
All day, he had been preoccupied only with the thought of finishing the Stage Greetings well amidst the tension, but suddenly, his heart raced at the realization that the Movie had been released.
“Thank you, Hyung…”
[I’m grateful as a member of the audience for letting me see such a good Artwork.]
“……”
Yoon Jooho, who seemed to be closing his eyes while resting his head quietly, stroked Song Hyunsoo’s arm and went down to find and hold his Hand.
Then he rubbed his face against his shoulder like a sleepy child.
What are you doing being so cute?
[Is the Promise on the 31st still valid?]
“Th-Then of course. On that day… there’s no Stage Greeting!”
[Even if there isn’t one on that day, a lot of fatigue must have built up.]
“Still, I have to see you, Hyung. And I also want to wrap up my Alba properly.”
The day he was supposed to meet Jung Jin was also the last day of work for “Jessica.”
Although he had been going to work once a week as promised while handling the promotional schedule, it seemed difficult to continue now that the Movie had been released.
He had been putting it off and putting it off as much as possible, but now it was really time to wrap it up.
A full-fledged life as an Actor awaited Song Hyunsoo.
[Right, then let’s make sure to see each other even if it’s a bit of a stretch.]
“It’s not a stretch, so don’t worry, Hyung.”
[The promotional schedule must be hard, so eat well. Well… I don’t think I need to worry because it seems like there’s someone taking good care of you.]
“Ah… Haha.”
Song Hyunsoo, feeling shy at the talk hinting at Yoon Jooho’s existence, laughed awkwardly.
And he stroked the cheek of the man who was leaning on his shoulder like a tired child.
“Sunbae does take good care of me.”
[It looks that way even just by watching the Stage Greeting Video.]
“I’m telling… you, he follows me around and overprotects me?”
His voice distorted because Yoon Jooho suddenly bit his shoulder hard.
As soon as he finished the call, he teased Song Hyunsoo by tickling his side as if he had been waiting.
“I follow you around? I overprotect you?”
“Overprotection, that’s right… Sunbae also admits— mmm… mmm.”
Song Hyunsoo’s lips, which had been holding back laughter by suppressing the sound, were swallowed by him.
He thought he would give him a playfully rough kiss, but contrary to expectations, his lips moved as softly as a first kiss.
Outside the Car window, Seoul was ready to welcome Christmas.
All the lights in the city sparkled more like a fairytale than usual.
The Neon Signs, the Lighting in the show windows, and even the tail lights of the procession of Cars.
Every light was like a decoration on a Christmas Tree.
The night of the Eve was deepening sweetly.
