There was something incomplete about their first time living together.

After watching two or three movies together in a row until three or four in the morning, when they craved a midnight snack; on afternoons when autumn rain fell gently; and even after petty arguments over nothing.
The two would sit across from each other with kimchi pot rice between them and spend time together.
They settled into their own places in bed as well.
Yoon Jooho took the left side, closer to the wall, and Song Hyunsoo took the right, nearer to the window.
Above Yoon Joohoโs headboard was a โNotting Hillโ poster; above Song Hyunsooโs, a โJerry Maguireโ poster.
Each movie contained the confession scene theyโd received from each other.
The trophy display cabinet that once filled the hallway from the entrance to the living room disappeared.
It had only been there at his parentsโ insistence, for show.
Monroe, showered with their excessive affection, grew into a chic cat.
Maybe because of the overprotective fuss, he became a cool, aloof cat whoโd only allow himself to be picked up or petted when he wanted.
Still, to both of them, Monroe was always their precious baby.
They worked out three or four times a week, took acting lessons, and even Song Hyunsoo began learning English little by little.
Despite all this, they had plenty of free time.
If they finished just one scheduled thing a day, the rest could be spent leisurely with Yoon Jooho and Monroe.
As Song Hyunsoo continued this regular routine, he was gradually able to shake off the aftereffects of <Dissolve>.
However, there was still a threat hanging over their peaceful daily life.
Yoon Joohoโs parentsโ trial was still ongoing.

Besides, Yoon Jooho no longer had to struggle directly, sparing him considerable trouble.
Song Hyunsoo, to some extent, agreed with that opinion.
But could anyone truly say it was โfortunateโ that parents would go so far as to destroy their own child?

He could never say it was a good thing that Yoon Jooho had parents like that.
