Chapter 99: About to Buy the Most Expensive

Until school was dismissed, Aurora still hadn’t seen Leonora anywhere, and Albert hadn’t appeared again either.

A lingering doubt unsettled Aurora’s heart; she wanted to know why Leonora knew her, and why she felt as if she had seen her somewhere before, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t recall.

Not only that, but according to the pink-haired girl just now, she had actually served as a maid for that witch named Beatrice?

This was even more unbelievable. If Aurora’s guess was correct, that witch should have been the one who kidnapped her. If she had really served as her maid, she would have remembered it.

A thought appeared in her mind — could it be that she truly had lost a segment of her memories?

But her sister had told her that she was cursed by that witch and had slept for more than ten years before waking up. Could it be that she hadn’t actually been asleep, but had instead lost all memories from that period?

Her sister had said she would come pick her up before, so she must have been waiting outside for a while now.

The witches around her mounted their brooms, one after another flying out through the windows. Even though the windows had the words “No Entry or Exit” written on them, the witches didn’t seem to care at all.

This made the classroom door almost exclusively a private passage for Aurora.

After stepping out of the classroom, Aurora looked up at the witches flying freely in the sky, then glanced down at the wooden floor beneath her feet. A twinge of envy arose in her heart.

‘I want a broomstick and a set of witch’s clothes,’ she thought, but she couldn’t bring herself to say it out loud.

She was clearly the older sister, yet she always troubled her younger sister to do this and that. That was hardly the behavior of a responsible elder sister.

She muttered to herself, feeling a bit down.

The recent drastic change in her living conditions had made her start to enjoy the noble lifestyle.

“Is there anything you want, sister?”

“Whatever you want, I’ll bring it to you.”

She casually pointed to some wildflowers nearby and said, “Actually, I just want a flower.”

“But weren’t you just looking at the sky a moment ago?”

She hadn’t expected that her sister had even noticed that little movement. Had she been watching her all the time since leaving the school?

But where? The classroom was on the tenth floor; could it be some kind of strange magic?

Seeing her sister reluctant to talk, Lorebel decided to find the answer herself.

She looked up at the sky — the deep blue sky, the fluffy white clouds, the blazing sun, and… the flying witches.

“I was so careless, sister.”

Aurora was a bit annoyed. Although she knew her sister meant well, this was a matter of an elder sister’s pride — she simply wouldn’t give in!

“Those things you mentioned, I can actually make them myself!”

“I can make a witch’s hat, robe, even boots just by looking at them once.”

But she didn’t dislike sewing. In fact, it had been her greatest joy to make clothes personally for Lorebel. It was something she genuinely enjoyed.

Looking into Lorebel’s eyes, she softly said, “Actually, I still really like making clothes, especially for you.”

Lorebel was taken aback for a moment. A flicker of darkness appeared in her eyes, but it quickly vanished.

She took Aurora’s hands in hers and moved closer.

“Then how about this, sister.”

“You make me a set of clothes, and I’ll buy your clothes.”

“But don’t buy anything too expensive.”
