Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—
After encountering the swarm of White-Eyed Eagles, Mo Yu and Lin Xue, who had only just managed to stop for a moment, were forced to spread their wings once again.
Carrying Su Qi and An Xiaoling, they began to put distance between themselves and the new swarm of Beasts chasing them through the sky.
The howling Wind whistled past their ears as they felt the centrifugal force of being nearly thirty meters above the ground.
Behind them was a swarm of White-Eyed Eagles that viewed them as prey, pursuing them relentlessly.
Seeing their sharp beaks and talons, it felt like a life-or-death escape scene straight out of a movie.
At this moment, Su Qi’s heart, which had just begun to calm down, started racing again.
A faint, fragrant sweat involuntarily seeped from her body.
Perhaps out of the instinctual fear of a Young Woman, she unconsciously squeezed her slender, long legs tight.
Screeching sounds—
The shrill cries of the eagles carried the ferocious nature of Beasts, making one’s skin crawl.
It sounded like a demand for surrender, or perhaps a series of intimidations, sending shivers down the spine.
Su Qi widened her eyes, watching the scene before her with tension.
She could clearly see the eagle swarm closing in at a staggering speed.
Meanwhile, the arrows shot by An Xiaoling were unable to display their true power due to the headwind.
Worse still, the enemy’s numbers were so vast that the arrows couldn’t pose any substantial threat to them.
Seeing the distance between them shrinking, Su Qi’s heart grew increasingly anxious.
Because Mo Yu was cradling both her and the Little Gray Rabbit in her arms, she was focusing entirely on Flight.
Su Qi instinctively looked toward Lin Xue beside them, hoping to hear if she had a way to handle the current crisis.
As Su Qi looked over expectantly, her delicate brows soon furrowed.
She realized that because the sun was still out, the sunlight was affecting her.
After escaping that Pathway, Senior Sister Lin Xue had remained silent while flying.
However, her Blood Princess Wings were clearly slowing down in rhythm, looking heavier and heavier. Her overall state was visibly poor.
Feeling the situation become more critical, Su Qi instinctively wanted to bite her finger to relieve the stress.
This was Su Qi’s natural reaction when nervous.
But as she reached out, she momentarily forgot she was still holding the Little Guy.
Su Qi’s body jolted as she nearly dropped the little fellow.
Perhaps her frantic movements affected their balance, but Mo Yu, who was carrying her, suddenly swayed left and right like a car speeding on a highway.
After several wobbles caused by inertia, the crisis of “flipping over” was finally averted.
After this small episode ended, Su Qi felt a lingering fear, but by observing the behavior of the Beast swarm behind them, she suddenly made a startling discovery.
It seemed the White-Eyed Eagle swarm’s hunting targets were only herself and the Little Gray Rabbit; they didn’t seem interested in Lin Xue or An Xiaoling!
Thinking of this, Su Qi quickly spoke up.
“Senior Sister Lin, let’s split up now. They’re chasing me and Xiao Xi. You and Little Ling hurry and get reinforcements. A Yu and I have a way to escape.”
Hearing Su Qi suggest separating, Lin Xue was stunned.
Out of instinctual worry, she wanted to say something to refuse.
But from the moment they entered the New Passage, they had spent nearly two hours fleeing, and she didn’t have much strength left in her body.
After a brief moment of thought, Lin Xue’s rational analysis concluded that the method Su Qi proposed was indeed the optimal solution.
However, at the thought of separating from Su Qi and leaving the Magical Girl alone with her, Lin Xue felt something was strange, and she felt a faint weight on the top of her head.
Nonetheless, feeling her wings grow heavier and seeing the eagle swarm drawing closer, she knew that if she didn’t leave now, she might become a burden once they were caught.
Ultimately, Lin Xue could only look at Mo Yu with a sense of helplessness and a hint of unwillingness.
“Junior Brother Su Qi, wait for me. I’m going to the Adventurers’ Guild right now to find help. Junior Schoolmate Mo Yu, I’m entrusting Su Qi to you.”
“Don’t worry, I will definitely take good care of A Qi.”
Su Qi watched as Senior Sister Lin Xue flew off in another direction while holding that black-hearted Loli, An Xiaoling.
Listening to the conversation between her and Mo Yu, Su Qi couldn’t tell if it was just her imagination.
She felt a vague, strange sense of a husband entrusting someone to take care of his wife.
It was just weird.
Once their figures had completely disappeared from Su Qi’s sight, a timid girlish voice rang out beside her ear.
“A Qi, what is the escape method you mentioned?”
Hearing Mo Yu’s inquiry, Su Qi hesitated slightly before slowly raising her left hand, displaying the Ring she wore.
In fact, right after coming out of the cave entrance, Su Qi had felt a series of connections coming from the Ring. Recalling the instructions from Su Qi’s Mother-in-law, she knew this sense of connection likely came from a Succubus Statue.
Looking toward the distance in the direction of the closest connection, Su Qi soon discovered a broken Succubus Statue atop a mountain ravine.
Looking at that Statue, a few bad premonitions welled up in Su Qi’s heart.
Su Qi’s Mother-in-law had once said that when encountering danger, one could use the Ring to teleport into the Enclosure Barrier of a Succubus Statue.
But Su Qi always felt that Succubus barriers, much like the Succubus Academy, were somewhat unreliable—and perhaps a bit indecent.
However, there didn’t seem to be any other choice now.
In the next second, Su Qi slowly extended a slender index finger, pointing toward the Statue.
“A Yu, let’s fly toward that Statue. I know a way to escape!”
Hearing Su Qi’s instructions, even though Mo Yu had no clue what was happening, her trust in her Brother won out.
Mo Yu didn’t even nod; she simply shifted her direction silently, proving her resolve through action.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh—
Even though it was summer, as their altitude climbed, the temperature and air pressure began to drop continuously.
As they drew closer to the Statue at the peak of the ravine, the sound of the whistling Wind grew louder, and the temperature became even colder.
Because of the increase in height and perhaps due to the way the swarm flew, the distance of the White-Eyed Eagles behind them closed even more.
Just as a White-Eyed Eagle was about to snatch the corner of Mo Yu’s clothes, Su Qi—with one hand around Mo Yu’s smooth and delicate Slender Waist and the other holding the Little Guy’s bottom—touched the Statue with her hand wearing the Succubus Ring.
In the next instant, amid a dizzying wave of teleportation, the world spun.
The howling Wind disappeared. The roars of the Beasts vanished. Everything became extremely quiet, and the temperature returned to a comfortable warmth.
Huu… huu…
After taking dozens of deep breaths and feeling her racing heart finally return to normal, Su Qi’s breathing became regular.
She set the unconscious Little Guy aside and slowly sat up from the fragrant embrace of Mo Yu on the floor, beginning to look around at the place they had teleported to.
Upon a simple inspection, Su Qi couldn’t help but furrow her brows.
Unlike the last time when the Statue teleported them to the Succubus Academy, this time the destination seemed to be a very simple room.
As for why it was called simple… it was quite straightforward.
This room had no windows.
All it contained was a soft bed, a mural on the wall, and a single door.
There was nothing else.
Since the bed was a very ordinary style without any innovation, Su Qi first focused her attention on the door.
Walking stealthily to the door, Su Qi instinctively wanted to open a crack to see where the outside was.
She wondered if it would be the Succubus Academy she had visited before.
But after applying a bit of force, Su Qi found that the door was as immovable as if it were locked from the outside.
After several failed attempts, Su Qi turned her attention to the mural carved on the wall, which was filled with various texts and patterns.
Just a few glances at the drawings caused Su Qi’s pale little face to be brushed with a hint of pink.
This was because the mural depicted very intimate actions in great detail. It wasn’t just between men and women; there seemed to be depictions between women as well.
As Su Qi shyly covered her eyes with her hands like a young girl, peering through the gaps in her fingers, Mo Yu—who had just consumed a massive amount of Magic—recovered her energy and sat up from the floor. She, too, quickly focused her attention on that mural.
However, unlike Su Qi who was looking at the pictures, Mo Yu stared at a paragraph of complex text beneath the mural. She read it out, word by word, in a slightly awkward tone:
“The Room You Can’t Leave Unless You Are Intimate.”
