Around ten o’clock on Saturday, Jiang Chi arrived at the residential complex hidden behind the towering buildings, following the WeChat location sent by the other party.
This neighborhood was in a coveted school district, and the prices were far from cheap.
The midday sun cast dappled shadows on the ground, and a few passersby in short-sleeve T-shirts and jeans glanced briefly at Jiang Chi as they walked by.
Today, Jiang Chi wore a crisp white suit and casually slung a white shoulder bag over one arm. He looked formal and solemn, more like a mature, competent man than a mere boy.
The residential complex’s environment was decent, with well-maintained greenery. Most importantly, it was located in the school district, making it hard to imagine that a self-proclaimed “orphan” girl could afford to rent a place here.
Unit “22” was an ordinary residential building, flanked on both sides of its door by a few lush phoenix trees, their branches thick and verdant.
Jiang Chi took the elevator up to the third floor and stopped at apartment “304.”
He raised his hand and knocked on the door.
Soon, a small head peeked out through a narrow crack.
“Senior Jiang, you’re here~” The voice was sweet, tinged with a coquettish tone, clear and melodious.
“I’m here.” Jiang Chi replied softly.
“Then come in and sit down.” Saying that, “Ji Qingchan” opened the door wide and stepped aside to let Jiang Chi enter.
Stepping inside, Jiang Chi was greeted by a warm, cozy atmosphere. The living room was decorated both lavishly and comfortably, with sunlight streaming through the windows to create patches of golden warmth on the floor.
“Senior Jiang, how’s my apartment? Is it big and nice?” The girl leaned in, her eyes sparkling with admiration.
“It’s big, very nice, and tasteful.” Jiang Chi smiled gently, reaching out to softly ruffle the girl’s hair.
At the same time, his gaze swept over the furniture in the living room—the tables, chairs, TV, and sofa. Taking a casual inventory of the area and factoring in the location in the school district, Jiang Chi made a rough estimate of the rent: no less than five thousand yuan a month.
There was no way an “orphan” who had to rely on part-time jobs and loans to pay for school could afford this.
Sure enough, Qingchan was not really an orphan.
But with the deep relationship between Aunt Huang and Uncle Ji, could such a dramatic plot twist as an illegitimate daughter really exist?
Thinking of the pending paternity test results, Jiang Chi decided not to jump to conclusions.
All he needed to know was that this girl named “Ji Qingchan” was worth loving.
Ji Yueni barely furrowed her brows. For other girls, being ruffled on the head might be something they liked, but for her, it always made her feel like she was somehow smaller or inferior to the other person, an annoying sense of humiliation.
“Senior Jiang… this past week I…” After some thought, Ji Yueni decided to explain why she’d disappeared without notice for a week, but was cut off by the young man waving his hand dismissively.
“I understand you. It’s me who’s unqualified, not meeting your expectations.”
“Take me to your bedroom. I want to give you a home.”
Jiang Chi’s gaze fixed on the girl before him. Though she was only a first-year high school student, still youthful and somewhat green in stature, her features were exceptionally striking—delicate, vibrant, and fresh.
Yet within this pure-spirited girl’s body was the soul of an experienced and playful woman.
Such a small body held such a large, interesting soul.
Just the thought of it was fascinating.
Especially considering what was about to happen in a moment, even someone as stoic as Jiang Chi could feel his ears flush pink.
His chest pounded loudly, drowning out all other sounds.
Still, he struggled to suppress these inner ripples because he had promised himself he would become a truly qualified man.
Suddenly, he changed the subject: “What do you want to eat? We’ll need a lot of energy later.”
Huh?
Understand? Unqualified? Not meeting expectations?
What on earth was this pretty boy imagining?
Ji Yueni was completely baffled.
The pure-hearted young man hadn’t turned into a manipulative predator; instead, he became a daydreamer?
But she could somewhat understand his latter words about wanting to see her bedroom.
Perfect. The bedroom had just been decorated yesterday.
Thinking this, she grabbed his hand and, without fully comprehending Jiang Chi’s cryptic remark about needing lots of energy later, hurriedly pulled him into her room.
The bedroom wasn’t very big, but the decor was cozy and exquisite.
The walls were adorned with cartoon stickers reflecting a girlish style, adding a lively atmosphere to the room.
On the bedside were two oddly cute thug plushies arranged neatly, next to unique steel pipe decorations on the bookshelf that gave the space a distinctive flair.
Near the door, a few risqué magazines lay in a messy pile, hinting at the owner’s eclectic taste, while the computer desk was plastered with stickers of all sorts of weapons.
This was exactly the kind of room Ji Yueni wanted: one that expressed the occupant’s girlish heart, mixed with a hint of a rebellious spirit.
“How is it? Isn’t my bedroom stylish?” The girl put her hands on her hips and tilted her face up toward Jiang Chi by the door.
At that moment, Jiang Chi locked the door behind him and turned to meet her proud, expectant expression—one that seemed to silently say, “Come on, compliment me.”
Seeing this, his lips curved into a faint, doting smile.
He couldn’t help but step forward and gently ruffle her soft hair again.
“Very stylish, very tasteful.” He said.
“Is that all you can say when you praise me?” The girl pouted, clearly unsatisfied and hoping to hear more compliments to satisfy her little heart.
Jiang Chi didn’t respond further but turned to look at the large double bed.
The pink sheets—such a pity they weren’t white; otherwise, he could cut a piece off as a keepsake.
The young man’s thoughts wandered, completely unaware how far from normal his imagination had just drifted.
“Ji Qingchan.”
“Hmm?”
“Do you like me?”
“Hmph! I don’t like you at all, I only like bad…”
Before she could finish, something flashed before her eyes.
“Ugh!”
A warm, moist touch pressed against her lips, followed by a strong scent of tulips and masculine pheromones flooding her senses.
Her mind exploded with a bang, blood rushing fiercely throughout her body as if ignited by a blazing fire, unbearably hot.
Her cheeks flushed as red as ripe apples, burning fiercely.
In that moment, she could almost hear the powerful beating of her heart, sharp and loud in the silent space.
“Jiang Chi, you damn—!” Ji Yueni struggled fiercely, but was once again pinned against the wall by the young man’s strong body, unable to move.
“Say you like me.”
His deep, pleasant voice was hoarse, filled with endless yearning and expectation.
His ocean-blue eyes held an incomprehensible emotion, like a net that trapped her firmly, no matter how much she tried to escape, she couldn’t break free.
“Get lost…”
“Mmph!!”
But all she got in response was a kiss.
A domineering kiss, a forceful kiss, a stormy, overwhelming kiss—Jiang Chi seemed to have transformed into a bad boy, pinning the girl to the wall and recklessly taking what he wanted.
Ji Yueni struggled desperately, pounding her fists wildly against him, but deep inside, she felt a strange, inexplicable reluctance to resist.
Amid his wild and possessive actions, she gradually found herself experiencing a peculiar pleasure.
That’s right—Ji Yueni was enjoying it.
It was a sensation both unfamiliar and strangely familiar, as if something long buried deep within her was finally about to break free, yet still refused to reveal itself clearly.
“Say you like me.”
The man commanded once more, his voice low and husky like the final note of a cello, filled with intense possessiveness and danger, making Ji Yueni shudder uncontrollably.
Her legs grew weak.
The tulip scent filled her nostrils, making her dizzy and her thoughts increasingly fuzzy.
Ji Yueni didn’t understand what was happening to her.
Her body was honest.
Though forced, she couldn’t help but want to comply, as if instinctively driven to willingly submit to his brutal domination.
Am I a masochist?
This was the only thought lingering in Ji Yueni’s foggy mind, soon followed by overwhelming stimulation and excitement.
“Say… say… say…”
The man’s voice turned into a lullaby, making Ji Yueni’s mind grow even more confused.
“I… I… I like… like… you…”
