Theresa looked worried, “Yeah, the fire is too fierce. We can’t get close, let alone go deeper.”
Su Fu said confidently, “I’ll handle the material problem. The fire of Flame Mountain originates from Taishang Laojun’s Eight Trigram Furnace. My Six Ding Divine Fire is the same source. Both come from the same origin. But mine is the real divine fire given by a god, so it’s definitely a notch higher quality—stronger.”
“I can use my divine fire to create a protective barrier around me, then rush in to gather the needed materials. It’s like building a human-made isolation zone.”
“What’s your plan?” Yi Congling asked curiously.
‘Was she going to use that Sweet Dew?’
But that water couldn’t possibly extinguish a fire spanning hundreds of miles, right?
Looking around, other examinees were trying all sorts of methods to cross the Flame Mountain.
Some dug tunnels underneath, hoping to pass below the mountain.
Some built giant metal shields as protection, hoping to last through.
Others tried combining ice-type divine skills to freeze a path temporarily, suppressing the flames.
But under this conceptual fire, everything burned—every attempt failed.
The examinees were broken.
“This is an impossible task!”
“Let’s just wait for the exam to end. This damn fire is beyond human power!”
Suddenly, a shout rang out: “Wait! Is that person really going to rush straight in?”
Yi Congling looked over and sure enough, it was Su Fu!
“???!”
‘No way, your plan is to just charge in headfirst?’
‘Heavens!’
Su Fu stood on a pair of spinning fire wheels, flames roaring as she charged straight into Flame Mountain.
The crowd was stunned, confused, and utterly disbelieving—thinking she was surely doomed.
“Is she crazy? That’s suicide!”
“All those attempts just failed, who does she think she is?”
“Who can survive in those flames?”
“Is she mentally broken?”
“Even A-grade divine power can’t last in that fire for long!”
Who would be foolish enough to charge into flames that could melt everything?
Wasn’t she afraid of dying?
Yet, before everyone’s shocked eyes, Su Fu stepped directly into the blazing inferno.
At almost the same moment, Six Ding Divine Fire instantly surrounded her, burning wildly.
When the two flames touched, instead of rejecting each other, they fused perfectly, as if resonating, boosting her speed by several points.
She swam freely in the sea of flames, like a fish in water.
Su Fu thought, ‘as expected, divine fire granted by gods is definitely one level above copied abnormal divine fire. Being from the same source, the quality clearly overwhelms it.’
So this fire couldn’t harm her; she could even use it to some extent.
Inside Flame Mountain, Su Fu truly witnessed the grandeur and terror of the place.
The entire mountain was one huge forge.
Lava flowed everywhere, tongues of fire intertwined endlessly, like living creatures.
The ground was no longer ordinary soil but crystalline mineral layers shining brilliantly under the firelight.
Without delay, Su Fu activated True Sight of Heaven to scout.
Under the Heavenly Eye’s vision, the chaotic interior of Flame Mountain became clear.
She saw sparkling red crystals embedded inside the mountain—Ash Flame Crystals, stunningly beautiful.
“Take some.”
As Su Fu guided her Six Ding Divine Fire over, the crystals automatically detached from the rock and fell obediently into her hand.
She also saw pools of golden liquid flowing in the lava—that was unmistakably Solar Gold.
“Take some.”
“Wait, that large dark green metal embedded in the mountain… could it be fragments of the Eight Trigram Furnace?”
“Take it all!”
Outside Flame Mountain.
Many examinees anxiously waited for Su Fu’s figure.
One minute passed, then two, three… five minutes…
“Is she dead inside?”
“Why hasn’t she come out yet?”
“Suicide! Who can survive in those flames for over a minute?”
“Serves her right, acting reckless and thinking she’s invincible…”
“One less competitor, might actually be a good thing.”
George and Theresa grew more worried.
Though they knew Su Fu was no ordinary person, Flame Mountain was terrifying.
“Can she really get through that fire?” Theresa fretted. “That’s conceptual divine fire that burns even the hardest metals. How long can her divine power last?”
“This is too dangerous,” George said, blaming himself, “We shouldn’t have let her go in. We should have thought of another plan…”
Yi Congling silently stared at the flames, thinking that someone who could create such miraculous Sweet Dew couldn’t just die here.
Nearby, a small trio whispered and glanced repeatedly toward Flame Mountain.
“That girl couldn’t really be dead in there, right?” a tall, thin boy sneered. “Did she fail?”
The buzzcut boy shook his head, voice low, “I guess Su Fu definitely has a way to deal with Flame Mountain. Didn’t you see how confident she was when she went in?”
“After all, she’s the third-ring champion. Maybe she has some trump card.”
The other two were shocked.
“What now? She might actually pass Flame Mountain and take all the points?” the tall boy panicked.
The buzzcut boy laughed, “If she can get through, that’s good. Then we can all get through Flame Mountain, right?”
“Besides,” he glanced toward Yi Congling, “that’s the big fat sheep who dropped 300,000 without blinking.”
“Can the champion fleece her properly?”
“Leave it to me.”
“You two, go gather more people. When she comes back, force her to hand over the method to get through Flame Mountain, then…”
He made a throat-cutting gesture and said, “The fat sheep will be ours.”
The three exchanged a knowing look and immediately sprang into action.
Before long, exclamations rang out all around.
“Wait! Is she coming out?”
“My god, she really came out alive!”
“How is that possible? She went through the fire, yet she’s unharmed?”
“This is absurd!”
Everyone stared in shock at Su Fu, who was walking out of the sea of flames.
She wasn’t just unscathed—she looked completely at ease.
Not a single burn mark marred her body or face, and her complexion was rosy, radiant with vitality.
“How did she do it?”
“How can anyone survive in that kind of fire?”
“Could it be some divine artifact?”
All eyes quickly fell on the Wind Fire Wheels spinning beneath Su Fu’s feet.
The flames roared fiercely, yet didn’t burn her in the slightest.
Someone guessed, “Could it be the Wind Fire Wheels she’s standing on?”
At this, the surrounding examinees’ eyes lit up with envy.
If they had those Wind Fire Wheels, wouldn’t they also be able to cross Flame Mountain and complete the task smoothly?
The buzz-cut guy from the trio secretly rejoiced at the scene, “So it really is!”
He gave his companions a knowing glance, and many began to quietly close in.
At that moment, Yi Congling exclaimed with delight, “My god, you actually have a way!”
“She’s truly unharmed!”
She had worried that Su Fu was underestimating Flame Mountain’s power—after all, even her clan’s special fireproof materials couldn’t withstand more than three seconds of that fire.
Yet Su Fu had stayed inside for so long and came out completely intact!
George and Theresa also breathed a sigh of relief, exchanging a glance filled with awe.
They had seen the flames burst forth around Su Fu’s body just before she plunged into the fire sea.
They hadn’t expected those flames to be so fierce—almost on par with Flame Mountain’s fire itself.
“Sis,” George said in shock, “Why do I feel like Su Fu isn’t any weaker than those noble second-ring kids? First that Sweet Dew, and now this Godfire skill…”
“Is her ability really this broad?”
At that moment, Su Fu handed the minerals and other materials she’d collected to George and Yi Congling for inspection.
Without exaggeration, their eyes sparkled the instant they saw them.
George carefully picked up a red crystal and said, “There really is a Jinyan Crystal! And the quality is excellent. And Solar Gold, Fire Spirit Core, Burning Heaven Jade… My god, Yi Congling, I didn’t expect there’d be so much here. This practically guarantees success in building the aircraft.” Â
This scene didn’t go unnoticed.
“What’s that?”
“She brought out divine materials from Flame Mountain!”
“Not only can she enter and exit Flame Mountain, she can also gather materials?”
The crowd’s eyes changed instantly.
George and Yi Congling were ecstatic, but Su Fu and Theresa exchanged a subtle glance.
They both clearly noticed someone creeping closer.
Theresa turned around smoothly and slightly shielded Su Fu from one side—a defensive stance.
Just then, a voice suddenly rang out:  “Excuse me, can you tell me how you got through Flame Mountain?” Â
Everyone turned to look—it was the trio’s leader, the buzz-cut guy, Sheng Kun.
He wore a hypocritical smile, insincerely flattering, “I didn’t expect you to move freely through the fire. Could you share your method?”
“We really need your help.”
“Please be truthful.”
Almost as soon as he finished speaking, four or five teams simultaneously closed in, surrounding them.
Only then did Yi Congling snap out of her euphoria, her face darkening as she said, “You actually want to rob us?”
“What reason do we have to tell you?”
Before Sheng Kun could reply, Su Fu suddenly smiled.
She felt no tension despite being surrounded, “Want to know?”
Her tone was calm, with a trace of inexplicable amusement.
Sheng Kun’s heart skipped a beat.
He suspiciously thought, ‘Could Su Fu be bluffing?’
Su Fu found it rather funny—this place was Flame Mountain, burning with raging flames, a mountain of fire.
To her, this was the terrain where she held the home-field advantage.
In truth, if these people hadn’t bothered her, she had planned to finish the aircraft first and then deal with them.
But now, she realized she had been too kind.
Su Fu sighed lightly and waved her right hand.
The Golden Cudgel appeared out of thin air and casually rested on her shoulder.
She said helplessly, “As expected, I have to clear the field first. I must learn from you noble kids.”
“What?” The attackers’ faces darkened immediately.
“You idiot, what nonsense are you spouting?” someone cursed.
“There are only four of you, with one useless craftsman and one hot-tempered young lady. Just the two left—do you really want to fight a dozen of us?”
The “useless craftsman” George: “……”Â
The hot-tempered young lady Yi Congling: “…..”
‘I’ll kill you all!’
Before they could finish, a red-haired girl spoke up, “Theresa is definitely someone to watch out for—the Principal God Gaia favors her, and she’s the rising star among this year’s civilians. As for you, Su Fu, you’re only a third-ring examinee. Even if you’re the Top Scorer, so what?”
“You really think you can take on all of us alone?”
“What a joke.”
Others, angered by Su Fu’s disdain, shouted, “Hand over the method to get through Flame Mountain! Or we’ll teach you a proper lesson.”
“Better yet, grab her Wind Fire Wheels and those treasures!”
Theresa’s expression instantly turned tense.
She hadn’t expected Su Fu to attract so much hostility even in this situation.
She saw that Su Fu had pushed the hatred meter to the max.
She hesitated, wanting to advise Su Fu not to provoke these greedy bastards, but then thought: ‘even if she was polite, what difference would it make?’
‘These greedy people had already bared their fangs—there was no way they would let them off. So the best option was to strike first!’
With that, Theresa unhesitatingly unleashed her divine skill— “[Earth’s Grasp]!”
In an instant, the ground trembled violently, as if alive.
Dozens of gigantic rock spikes burst out from beneath the attackers’ feet!
Sharp stone pillars pierced through the earth, enclosing the crowd in a cage.
“Watch out! That’s Gaia’s Earth Mother’s Heavenly Technique!” someone shouted.
The onlooking examinees backed away, standing at a safe distance and watching with glee.
“I want to see what fate awaits this arrogant newbie who’s selling water!”
“Serves her right! Just a third-ring nobody, and she’s so cocky?”
“Ten against four—that’s a total stomp. Let’s see how she begs for mercy later!”
Just as Sheng Kun and his crew barely escaped danger and prepared to counterattack, Su Fu moved.
She suddenly raised the Golden Cudgel in her hand, her expression calm, then slammed it down fiercely onto the ground!
“Mountain Collapse—!”
The world seemed to still for a moment, then a deafening roar erupted from beneath their feet.
“Rumble, rumble!”
The entire Flame Mountain range began shaking violently!
Massive fissures split open, spewing fiery red magma.
Scorching lava rolled like waves, spreading in all directions.
Amidst the thunderous rumbling, the entire mountain began to crumble.
Huge boulders crashed down on all sides!
