Bemore was somewhat moved by what she heard, but when she squinted toward the cage across from her, all she saw was a dissipating whirlwind the mysterious woman had already vanished without a trace.
The silent loneliness descended once more, yet Bemore realized that after exchanging a few words with that strange woman, her mood had calmed considerably, allowing her to barely reenter a meditative state.
However, she still remained curled up like a turtle, nestled on the ground with her white hair wrapped around her body, transformed into a cocoon.
How could someone meditate in such an odd sleeping posture?
Itโs worth noting that a magicianโs meditation posture is very particular, 99% of the time they sit upright, and even the slightest mistake in posture affects the efficiency of absorbing magical energy from the heavens and earth.
She ought to thank those sharp-tongued senior sisters.
If it werenโt for their relentless display of human envy, she wouldnโt have suddenly found herself unwilling to die.
Even if she had to pick up grains of rice from the ground to eat, she was determined to survive this entire month.
The scene shiftsโฆ
Let us now arrive at the Warehouse Castle, nestled in a remote corner of the Continental Magic Academy.
Currently, the four Heretical Magician sisters reside in a shared four-person room within the Warehouse Castle.
Originally, there were four single rooms, but now they have been consolidated into one four-person room.
The four of them squeeze into one room, lying on two double-decker wooden beds.
But does it really affect them much? Not really; they still go about their days and continue training.
After all, the four are close sisters who can enter the spiritual realm a far cry from the plastic sisters around Samimi.
However, whatโs been troubling Head Resident Brayetta and Wolf Girl lately is that the trio from the School of Healing left two days ago and still havenโt returned.
โAre Niubao and the others never coming back?โ This thought made the usually lively Wolf Girl somewhat listless and sad.
โTheir luggage is still here; theyโll definitely come back,โ Brayetta comforted her.
In fact, they were allocated two four-person rooms. Originally, they could have shared the rooms two to a room, but Wolf Girl insisted on keeping one room vacant for Niubao and the othersโ return.
Samimiโs three companionsโ belongings were placed in the neighboring four-person room, mostly research notes quietly waiting for their ownersโ return.
One noon, everyone gathered around the small dining table in the room, eating together.
โDid you hear? Someone moved into our Dark Moon Pavilion yesterday. They threw Bemoreโs luggage out! Itโs hilarious,โ Wolf Girl gossiped.
โSeems like it,โ White Honey Spider finally spoke up, revealing her deep hatred for traitors.
โYou should stay out of those matters. I know youโve been sneaking back to check on things lately. Donโt get yourself caught,โ Brayetta warned.
โMy magic rarely gets to be used. Finally, I have a chance to show it off,โ Wolf Girl laughed.
โOnce the heat dies down, weโll show our faces again,โ Brayetta reminded.
โSniff? Pok! Pok! Pok!โ Suddenly, Wolf Girlโs nose twitched as she inhaled deeply.
โWhatโs wrong?โ Brayetta asked.
โI smell Niubaoโs stinky scent! Theyโre back!โ Wolf Girl jumped up so quickly she almost knocked over the small dining table.
โWhat? Theyโre back? Where?โ Brayetta asked eagerly.
โOf course, at the Dark Moon Pavilion!โ Wolf Girl sniffed again, confirming the direction.
โThatโs bad theyโre surrounded by Fire Mages,โ Brayetta slapped her chest, sensing trouble.
โShould we go help?โ Wolf Girl asked loudly, eager to jump into action.
โForget it, theyโre just small fry. They canโt beat Samimi. That person even dared to duel three Council Presidents in the arena. Do you think she needs our help?โ Brayetta thought it over and chose to continue eating lunch.
โMakes sense. If we head over there, weโll just be collecting bodies for the Fire Mages,โ Wolf Sister agreed, laughing nervously. No need to worry about Samimi.
โKa! Ka! Kiang!โ
At the same time, healing light suddenly illuminated the underground prison of the Bright Moon Pavilion.
Wolf Girl had truly smelled correctly!
In the blink of an eye, three fully armed, familiar saintly figures appeared inside.
Samimi wielded her Runic Staff, feeling the magical energy flowing through the air. Though she had only been gone two days, it felt like two years to her.
โThis is the scent of revenge.โ
But this return was entirely different from the first time she came to the Magic Academy.
The first time was filled with novelty and excitement, but now Samimi only wished for this thing to die.
โCrack! Crack! Crack!โ They tried to leave the underground chamber, but found the door outside was locked.
โNiubao.โ Samimiโs face darkened as she took a step back to let the professional handle the situation.
Niubao reached behind and pulled out the Divine Hammer hanging on her back. This was Niubaoโs second weapon like the nuns, she carried a weapon kit on her back with the hammer attached.
And she could casually pull out the hammer, unlike Samimi, who had to kick hard to draw the Slaying Demon Sword because it was too long to pull out easily.
โChan Long!โ Niubao swung the hammer forcefully, shattering the fragile wooden door in one strike.
The three emerged from the underground entrance into the Bright Moon Pavilionโs Junk Room. Everything inside had already been stripped clean essentially eaten up.
โWhat happened?!โ
โWhy is it you three?!โ
โWhat are you still doing here?โ
โDonโt you know this is already the Fire Schoolโs dormitory?โ
โGet out! Youโre not welcome here!โ
The commotion attracted several Fire Apprentices who stormed into the Junk Room, and upon seeing Samimi and the others, they sneered.
But in the next moment, the Nun of Atonement gripped her Divine Staff tightly and swung it fiercely, knocking down the loudest Fire Apprentice with one strike silencing him physically.
โBawk?!โ โTheyโre hitting people! Itโs a rebellion! Murder!โ
The other Fire Apprenticesโ eyes widened in shock; they never expected such violence to erupt in the Continental Magic Academy.
โPerfect, Rebecca! This staff is amazing. The feeling of smashing heads is just incredible.โ
With that strike, Samimi felt unprecedented pleasure and comfort. She raised both hands in gratitude to the Goddess.
โHeretical Nun! Youโre looking for death! Do you know who we are? You will be burned alive by fire!โ A Fire Apprentice shouted angrily, activating his Flame Shield. He was still quite rational.
โFlame Shield? Whether you can burn me to death or not, I donโt know, but today your heads will definitely be cracked open,โ Samimi snapped back with no pretense left, her voice filled with malice and violence.
โ[Kunping Enchanted Sword Enchantment].โ
As she spoke, her Runic Staff emitted a deep red glow, thorny vines twisting around it.
