Ailaira watched Andrea’s petite hand with great interest, trembling slightly beside her own cheek, frozen and unable to move.
“What’s wrong? Not going to continue?”
“What… what do I do next?”
Andrea was utterly lost in Ailaira’s limpid, rippling eyes.
Though she had mustered her courage to try and take the lead, she was completely out of her depth, her meager experience left her at a loss for what to do! The poor Red Dragon, brave in spirit but weak in action, heard a mocking chuckle from below her.
Humiliated, she made a tiny fist and gave Ailaira’s chest a feeble tap.
“What are you laughing at! I’m really strong! Don’t underestimate me!”
Ailaira waved her hand, slipped an arm around Andrea’s slender waist, and easily lifted her up.
Amid Andrea’s surprised cry, Ailaira gently placed her on the office desk.
The table, only moments before piled with official documents, now bore something far more captivating than tedious paperwork. Ailaira’s hands trailed down from Andrea’s slightly open collar, deftly undoing the rest of her buttons.
When all the obstructions had been undone, Ailaira made to peel away the enticing outer layer of this “delicacy,” but Andrea’s nervous hands grabbed hers tightly.
Andrea met Ailaira’s gaze from her vulnerable position, and in that superior, overlooking look, she read the silent mockery: Did you really think a clueless little lizard like you could turn the tables and be in charge?
Andrea bit her finger, turning her face aside, forcing herself not to make any humiliating sounds. She could feel her dignity as a dragon being trampled by this human.
But having survived the brutal, survival-of-the-fittest competition within Dragon Valley, she was well aware that she was the weaker party now. In every way, she couldn’t compare to this woman’s experience.
Just this once! I’ll take this as a learning experience. Next time, the one lying on the table definitely won’t be me!
Wait… why am I already thinking about a next time?
As Andrea’s mind scrambled, Ailaira’s fingers slid along the hem of her clothes like silvery serpents, slipping inside and gliding over Andrea’s snow-white, silky skin her fingertips danced like a pianist, lingering below the gentle slopes and appraising their shape.
Ailaira traced circles where Andrea’s tail met her back, fingers caressing lightly as though she’d triggered a hidden switch, coaxing a soft gasp from Andrea’s lips.
Finally, Ailaira focused on the spot between Andrea’s shoulder blades, and by feeling carefully, she was able to confirm a subtle, almost invisible bulge there. This, perhaps, was the remnant of the Red Dragon’s not-yet-fully-developed wings.
Now that her suspicions were confirmed, Ailaira withdrew her hands and pulled out a handkerchief, wiping away the fine sheen of sweat from her fingertips. With this preliminary examination complete, she now had a basic understanding of Andrea’s human body.
The System Panel showed Andrea’s Development Progress had reached 5%. Her guess was right, Development Progress was indeed related to how well she understood a living being’s anatomy.
It was just like how she knew her younger sister, Vista Green, so well her Development Progress with Vista started at 25%.
Ailaira figured if she could raise that number a little higher, she’d probably receive some sort of reward. With that in mind, Ailaira couldn’t help but feel a little anticipation as she looked at the Red Dragon below, panting softly.
Once the examination was finished, Ailaira sat back down in her chair, flicked Andrea’s dainty foot in its white stocking off the armrest, crossed her legs, and said coolly, “Get up.”
Andrea blinked open her dazed eyes and quickly wiped away the moisture gathering at the corners. In disbelief, she touched herself. “It… it’s over? Already?”
“It was just a physical checkup. And to get you to sweat a little.” Ailaira’s face wore a wicked grin, the corners of her narrow eyes twitching as she stoked Andrea’s temper.
“Did you really think we were going to have some deeper ‘exchange’? I wouldn’t mind, but that’s a personal matter. I’m not raising your compensation for that.”
Andrea was stunned. Had she really just assumed Ailaira wanted to do something like that? No, no, this woman had been using vague language to mess with her from the start! It wasn’t her imagination that was twisted! The Red Dragon was furious, her powerful tail striking at Ailaira, but every time it was easily blocked by a book.
“You wicked woman! You’re doing this on purpose!”
“Yes, I am. I just didn’t expect the mighty Red Dragon to react so amusingly.”
Andrea’s face turned crimson.
For a moment, she was seized by the urge to perish together with Ailaira. But before she could put her thoughts into action, Ailaira interrupted by handing her a handkerchief. Seeing Andrea unsure what to do with it, she explained, “Carefully wipe the sweat from your body, and then pluck a few dragon scales for me, I have use for them.”
Hearing this, Andrea’s expression suddenly grew smug as if struck by a revelation. She planted her feet on the desk and looked down on Ailaira for once.
“So, you’ve already become this obsessed with the Red Dragon, haven’t you? Stop hiding your true feelings and just confess your love for me! Boldly and passionately!”
“A tolerant Red Dragon will accept all your wicked thoughts.”
Ailaira blinked up at Andrea from her corner, having a perfect view up her skirt.
“Then… why not let me have dozens of kilos of blood, and a few thousand dragon scales to start with?”
“Mhm, and a few hundred bottles of bodily fluids too, in any form, I’m not picky.”
That really was wicked, but it was nothing like what Andrea had imagined! The spark of pride she’d just kindled vanished without a trace.
Looking at Ailaira now, she felt only the dread of a natural enemy, as if she’d be devoured without a scrap left behind if she got caught.
Andrea tried to escape, but Ailaira grabbed her slender ankle and pulled her into her arms.
Taking Andrea’s hand, the one clutching the spotless handkerchief Ailaira guided it to wipe away the sweat from their recent intimacy. She leaned close to Andrea’s blushing ear, her breath warm and sultry.
“Don’t worry, I won’t use such extreme methods, for now. Just behave yourself, cooperate with my experiments, and I’ll give you everything I promised in due time.”
“This is your job. I’ll gently, bit by bit, uncover every secret your body holds.”
Andrea couldn’t break free. Dazed, she found herself regretting everything all over again. Things had turned out nothing like she imagined.
Good news: Ailaira really was interested in her body.
Bad news: Ailaira was interested in her body, in the most literal sense.
Wuwuwu, would she even survive long enough to leave? Would she even see tomorrow’s sun? What if the accommodation they’d arranged for her was some dark, damp basement?! No, anything but that, at the very least, give her a luxurious single room and three meals a day!
Yet what awaited her was Ailaira’s hand gently covering her eyes, plunging her into darkness.
In the pitch black, Andrea could only hear Ailaira’s restrained, sultry voice at her ear:
“Now, let’s move on to the next step.”
“This time, I want to collect some fluids of a different kind.”
