The burly bear-man was actually tripped by Su Xinran—without offering the slightest resistance!

“Hey! Azir, what the hell was that?!”

“We wanted to see a cute blushing girl face off—don’t go easy on her, you bastard!”

The crowd of monsters erupted in fury!

“Ah-re…”

Azir didn’t react for quite a while.

“What’s this~? Mister, were you holding back~?”

Su Xinran grinned mischievously.

As for whether Azir had gone easy on her—he knew very well he hadn’t.

Right now, Su Xinran’s words were nothing short of infuriating to him.

“No, no! We didn’t call ‘start’ just now—I wasn’t ready!”

“Oh~ really~?”

Su Xinran leaned forward with her hands on her hips, giving Azir a suspicious look.

“Well~ then I’ll give you another chance~”.

With that, she returned to her seat and extended her hand again.

“Ready?”

“Ready! This time, I won’t hold anything back!”

The gentlemen surrounding them held their breath, their gazes fixed on the center of the room.

“Three, two, one… START!”

“HAAAH!”

Azir’s fur bristled all over as he gripped the table, pouring every ounce of strength into his arm.

“Hey hey hey, isn’t that a bit too serious?!”

Someone in the crowd shouted in alarm.

After all, while Azir wasn’t the strongest enforcer, his physical strength was among the top in the group.

If he used that much power… wouldn’t Su Xinran’s arm get snapped clean off?!

But what happened next defied everyone’s expectations.

Su Xinran’s arm was steadily overpowering Azir’s!

Bit by bit, it pushed toward the tabletop at a constant rate!

Azir’s body suddenly bulked up a size, veins bulging on his forehead.

Spiderweb-like cracks spread across the stone table.

The table suddenly shattered into pieces!

As shards flew outward, a cyclops-type monster raised both hands to create a telekinetic barrier, blocking the flying debris.

“As expected from a cyclops!”

The crowd was briefly distracted by this sudden interlude—but the next explosive sound snapped their attention right back.

BOOOOOM!!

Su Xinran and Azir’s elbows slammed into the ground, punching twin craters into the floor.

Clearly, Azir had no intention of backing down, and Su Xinran followed him right to the ground, refusing to give in.

But the way Su Xinran looked as she did this…

Made Azir feel like coughing up blood.

With one hand propping up her head, Su Xinran lay there with a teasing smirk, gently swinging her white-stockinged legs back and forth, swaying the very souls of everyone present.

“WOOOH!! That’s it, you bastard!”

“Azir! Hero! Azir! Hero…!”

Weird chants erupted from the crowd.

“A cute girl like this is a national treasure—sniffle sniffle…”

Some were even brought to tears.

Azir gave up.

The hydraulic press-like force she wielded had driven him into complete despair.

Sensing Azir had pulled back, Su Xinran deactivated the power output of her mechanical exoskeleton, sparing him further embarrassment.

“You…”

Azir looked in astonishment at the girl he had just underestimated—completely floored, inside and out.

“I lost!”

Azir dropped to one knee, clasped his fists together, and lowered his head in a deep bow.

In their arm-wrestling match, he had even glimpsed the threshold of a power breakthrough.

His body and soul had both been defeated by this young girl.

“Well, well~”.

Su Xinran stood up, dusted off her dress, and waved her hand casually.

“No big deal~”.

“OH YEAH!!”

The crowd burst into wild cheers, some wanting to lift Su Xinran in celebration—but Wang Ya’s police baton quickly forced them back.

“Back off! No filthy hands on Xinran!”

“Well~ this means I’m qualified to join the volunteer enforcers now, right?”

“Yes!”

Everyone answered in unison.

“Even ignoring your other abilities, just being able to overpower a Bear Tribe member like Azir in raw strength is enough to register as an enforcer!”

“Eh, really?! Then I’ll register right now! Yay~ no more school!”

Su Xinran leaped with joy, about to step forward to join the enforcer squad—when a rubber baton suddenly blocked her path.

“Nope!”

“Eh?!”

“Your first mission—is school!”

Before Su Xinran could even argue, Wang Ya grabbed the strap of her suspender skirt and dragged her away.

“Hahahaha…”

Laughter echoed throughout the registration hall.

“…Mmph!!”

In the car, Su Xinran’s cheeks were puffed up like a balloon.

A masked enforcer—that was every little boy’s dream!

And for someone who’d grown up watching superhero movies and magical girl anime, Su Xinran felt that even more deeply.

“Come on, even if you wanted to go, there’s no way you’d be allowed.”

“Volunteer enforcers only recruit adults.”

“Haah…?”

Su Xinran deflated in an instant.

It felt like she had just lost the dream of her life.

As the car began to slow down, Su Xinran’s lifeless eyes regained a glimmer of light as she looked out the window.

They had arrived in a quiet, lush, green area.

Nestled within it was a lavish European-style villa.

“This… don’t tell me we’re doing that old comedy routine where the little shack next to the mansion is actually Wang Ya-jie’s real house…”

It’s not that Su Xinran didn’t want to believe Wang Ya was secretly a rich lady.

But…

This villa was so big, it stretched several acres—it was practically a public park! Living here alone would make her feel like some kind of vampire countess.

So Su Xinran chose to believe that Wang Ya actually lived in the little bungalow on the left.

“Bingguo~ You guessed it! That little house is ours.”

“I knew it. If Wang Ya-jie were that rich, that’d just be ridiculous…”

“But the villa on the right is ours too. The little house is just for storing tools.”

The car pulled up in front of the villa, where two iron gates slowly opened.

A row of butlers in tailcoats bowed in unison.

“Welcome home, Miss!”

In front of the villa stretched a winding stone path, lined with immaculately trimmed gardens.

The flowers weren’t overly flashy or eye-catching, but their gentle beauty had a calming effect.

The car rolled slowly along the path and pulled into a garage beside the main house.

Inside the garage, two maids were already standing by, waiting on either side of the car.

As the engine cut off and the door opened, Su Xinran reached for her seatbelt—only to have one of the maids gracefully lean in and unbuckle it for her, then take her hand and help her out of the car.

Just like she was some kind of medieval princess.

This was way too over-the-top…

As she stepped out of the garage, two more maids approached with perfect timing and opened a sunshade umbrella over her.

Their every movement—even their facial expressions—was flawlessly refined.

Looking at the lush green lawn… and then up at the blood-red sun in the sky…

If it weren’t for all these maids around, Su Xinran would’ve sworn she had just wandered into the Scarlet Devil Mansion.
