The magic used by magical girls seemed tailor-made for their kind—always brilliant and colorful, evoking beautiful dreams.
Yet, the magic just now wielded by Wangchuan exceeded both Xing Yu and Jin Wang’s understanding.
If the magic of magical girls could be likened to spells of hopeful dreams, then Wangchuan’s was like necromancy from a Western fantasy world—born solely for killing.
“Although it’s quite unconventional, there’s no doubt that’s the kind of magic we know,” Xing Yu analyzed coolly.
“It’s just a different category from what we use.”
“A traitor within the Magic Alliance?”
Jin Wang asked.
“Not sure. Maybe it’s not even from the Magic Alliance; but that’s not the main point right now. The fact that this dimensional beast uses magic means it has many more abilities!”
Xing Yu felt the situation was thorny.
Even if the dimensional beast wasn’t truly at the predatory level, just that one magic alone was enough to overwhelm the two of them.
Yet, it seemed to have no effect on Ellera.

“Regeneration… very difficult, isn’t it?”
Luo You walked casually toward Wangchuan, her hands lightly clasped behind her back, her steps soft as lotus petals.
Wangchuan suddenly stumbled backward, shouting loudly, “You think this is over just like that!?”
Its body left the massive star ring, leaping down toward the nearby dimensional sea.
Just approaching the dimensional sea was enough.
The special substance within that sea—endless and impossible to analyze—began separating from the water, surging into Wangchuan’s body like a stormy tornado, rapidly repairing its damaged form in mere moments.
Despite just suffering a setback, Wangchuan showed no fear, its expression still confident.
Confidence born from overwhelming strength—it still had many magics left unused.
“You’re very confident?”
“Of course.”
Wangchuan’s fighting spirit surged, magic waves once again stirring up a fierce wind.
“Though I’d heard of it long ago, your ‘Three Lives Ten Directions Pure Land’ truly lives up to its name.”
“You seem quite familiar with me,” Luo You narrowed her eyes.
Not everyone knew the name ‘Three Lives Ten Directions Pure Land.’
She had only boasted about it to a few especially proud magical girls.
Few truly understood it.
But some in the Irregular Organization did.
“I remember now!”
Luo You recalled when she helped the Irregular Organization escape the dimensional sea, they had traded with beachcombers for a sheep-headed artifact—similar to the sheep-headed centipede she’d just seen.
The appearance was slightly different, probably due to absorption of dimensional sea matter.
This confirmed Wangchuan’s birth was closely tied to the Irregular Organization.
[It must be that Herrera’s doing again.]
Luo You was very familiar with that woman.
Herrera was the core brain of the Irregular Organization—not holding an official position, but more important than the second or third-in-command, even surpassing the leader in significance.
“Looks like you’ve got some clues.”
Wangchuan smiled confidently.
“Your Three Lives Ten Directions Pure Land has the miraculous ability to absorb and convert various energies, but I believe it has limits. There’s no such thing as an invincible, undefeated body!”
“The premise is you have to break through it first.”
“I will!”
“Fine words—how exactly will you do it?”
“Overwhelm it with sheer volume. Magic is strength; the more, the stronger!”
Wangchuan revealed its true trump card without hesitation—
“Do you know how much magic power is stored inside the Singularity Core? If enough spells are cast, it will surely break your invincible Pure Land!”
Every day, more than ten magical girls infused magic power into the Singularity Core.
Over time, the total stored magic power was close to the sum of a hundred magical girls’ power.
Even if Wangchuan unleashed a hundred spells at once, its magic wouldn’t run dry.
But that was only in theory.
“Though I don’t know where or how you learned magic, you’ll never truly integrate it! What use is all that magic power if you can’t use it properly?”
Luo You firmly believed Wangchuan could never be better at using magic than a magical girl.
The difference between them was fundamental!
“Try me and see if it works!”
Behind Wangchuan, a powerful magic array formed.
Its body vanished into the void, leaving no trace.
Magic’s defining characteristic was its diversity and versatility.
Realizing it was difficult to break Luo You’s defense head-on, Wangchuan began seeking an opening.
“You say you want to break through by volume, but all you’re doing is playing childish tricks,” Luo You sneered, her hair slowly turning deep red.
The tense battlefield suddenly fell into calm, as if all dust had settled.
After over a minute, Luo You swung a streak of orange light to the front-right.
The mountains and rivers fell silent; the space ahead seemed utterly frozen, then came a shattering sound—
Wangchuan’s magic that concealed its form and presence collapsed.
Staggering into view, its body nearly shattered again but was quickly repaired by the dimensional sea.
“Is that all?”
Luo You scoffed.
“Enjoy your pride.”
Wangchuan suddenly sneered coldly.
“The corruption is complete… You must be very familiar with it, right? The kind of overwhelming power Akaha had—I’ll show you again!”
A tremendous surge of magic power exploded from Wangchuan’s body, a tsunami-like force punching a massive hole in the clouds above.
The magic around it was at least a hundred times stronger than before, far surpassing what it wielded at the Nine Abyss Sea.
Powerful and sky-darkening, the magic surrounding Wangchuan was unlike anything ordinary, becoming something else entirely.
A stench of decay rolled forth, terrifying phenomena erupted, the dimensional sea boiled, strange lights and scenes endlessly emerging!
“This! This is the true strength Akaha held! Unknown to the world before, now shining anew in my hands!”
Wangchuan exulted, arms wide, shouting.
Akaha’s magic was infamous for its bloodthirsty terror.
Its true origin was this predatory-level dimensional beast!
Who would have thought that Akaha—the once invincible presence—was just an unknown nobody, an ordinary magical girl learning the same magic as everyone else?
Only when this dimensional beast appeared did Akaha accidentally come into contact with its blood and the intensely mutated dimensional sea matter, mutating her magic and giving her the terrifying fame she later gained.
Now, controlling the body of this predatory-level dimensional beast, Wangchuan had gained power purer and stronger than Akaha’s.
Wangchuan was certain that even if Akaha herself came back to life, she could not surpass what it could do!
The overwhelming aura spread below, silencing even Xing Yu and the others thousands of meters in the sky.
The fierce wind brushed their faces, carrying an evil, nauseating stench.
“Is this really magic?!”
Xing Yu couldn’t help but exclaim, feeling it was something completely different from the magic she knew!
“So who exactly is Akaha?”
Jin Wang asked in frustration.
After hearing so much, she still couldn’t understand.
That Akaha had wielded such power?
Xing Yu quietly pressed her chin, staring intently below, discerning Wangchuan’s true nature.
“I think its real skill is in that corrupting, decaying aura! It turns the magic stored in the Singularity Core into something else entirely—that’s its real trump card!”
If the original form of that thing truly was a predatory-level dimensional beast, then the purity of the dimensional sea matter in its body must have been outrageously high.
Dimensional beasts spend their lives absorbing dimensional sea matter.
After reaching predatory level, the sedimented matter inside them undergoes transformation, evolving into a special substance unique to that level.
Originating from the dimensional sea, yet different from it.
Just like the predatory-level beast that invaded the Nine Abyss Sea four years ago, whose dimensional sea matter altered the sea’s climate almost permanently—cold winds howling year-round.
Such tremendous power was mysterious and unpredictable!
That concentration of dimensional sea matter was lethal to ordinary people, and magical girls were no exception.
“Be careful… Ellera.”
Xing Yu clenched her fists in worry.
The surging magic waves stirred violent giant waves far away in the dimensional sea.
Before them stood a maddened figure as if capable of dragging the entire world into a destructive tide.
Surrounding it was a magical power far beyond what the Three Lives Ten Directions Pure Land could contain.
Yet Luo You showed no fear.
“You really don’t understand anything.”
She sighed, then issued a chilling accusation that made Wangchuan’s blood run cold.
“You’re not doing all this to avenge Akaha, are you?”
Wangchuan held its breath, stunned by the murderous intent directed at it.
The raging magic storm halted abruptly.
“You’re just intoxicated by Akaha’s power, wanting to grasp her secret strength for yourself. That’s why you set all this up, isn’t it?”
The false mask was torn away.
After a pause, Wangchuan smiled coldly, “So what if I am?”
“You don’t deserve to wield the same power as her.”
Luo You’s words were as cold as the Nine Nether Ice Spring flowing into the world.
“Besides, you’re completely mistaken about the direction. Akaha’s power isn’t as superficial as yours!”
“Your arrogance has limits. Rumor says you were close with Akaha—you should know how powerful she really was.”
Wangchuan frowned.
It didn’t know if Luo You was bluffing or if, as she claimed, this wasn’t all of Akaha’s power.
“Whether I’m right or wrong, you’ll find out soon enough!”
Wangchuan’s eyes widened.
The endless magic storm swirled in response to its will, manifesting all sorts of phenomena!
Dimensional waves struck the sky, lightning roared, gray mist blurred the air, the land crumbled. Wangchuan simultaneously cast over ten magics.
Regardless of their actual power, the spectacle was terrifying enough to make the faint-hearted lose control!
These were still magics.
Some were familiar even to magical girls, but tainted by the corrupting magic on Wangchuan, they transformed into something entirely different, with greatly increased lethality!
“Hollow spectacle.”
Luo You was calm and unafraid.
The terrifying display was mostly bluff—only three of the magics truly had power; the rest were paper tigers.
Not even ten top magical girls could cast over ten spells simultaneously.
It wasn’t about how much magic power you had; it tested pure skill.
As always, Wangchuan could never surpass a magical girl in spellcasting technique!
Even if it had stolen vast magic from the Singularity Core, its technique was still a weak link!
“Enough. I’ve roughly measured your trump cards. Let’s end this,” Luo You whispered, lightly stroking the deep blue gem on her ring finger.
“Deep Blue Impact…”
The surrounding air seemed pulled by suspicious energy, as if the world itself was burning, time bending and twisting.
The converging energy expanded infinitely like atomic fission.
Like an apocalyptic meteor entering the atmosphere, bursting with blinding light, the deep blue shockwave was visible even from space stations far away.
Under this light, all magic anomalies throughout the dimensional sea influenced by Wangchuan instantly collapsed, dissolving into scattered fragments of stray magic.
“Shpwah—guh guh guh—”
Wangchuan tried to speak but couldn’t.
Its massive body was struck by an invisible force, flung violently across the ground, tumbling for countless meters until crashing into a mountainside.
Half its body was buried in rubble, finally coming to a halt.
pat
A beautiful jade foot landed before it.
Luo You, bathed in deep blue radiance, emanated the aura of a war goddess.
She looked down at the battered Wangchuan and said:
“Having immense magic power but not knowing how to use truly strong magic—if any of the ten seats had your magic power, at least they could spar with me a little.”
Magic had levels—from the weakest fifth rank to the strongest first rank.
The strongest magic Wangchuan displayed was only third rank—the level of a mediocre magical girl, not even first-class.
Whether it couldn’t access higher-level magic or simply couldn’t learn it, Luo You didn’t know.
Either way, it didn’t change Wangchuan’s defeat.
Wangchuan lay amid the rubble, forgetting even to repair itself, utterly lost.
“Impossible… How could I…? Impossible! I clearly hold Akaha’s power… Could I really have gone wrong? No—impossible!!”
It screamed hysterically.
Its body rapidly repaired as dense, terrifying dimensional sea matter surged toward Luo You!
If that was the case, then it would abandon this power and fight with the dimensional beast’s own strength!
Luo You smiled leisurely.
“Though you boast endlessly about how great you are and think you’ve fully grasped Akaha’s power… you’re completely on the wrong path. Akaha’s true, unparalleled secret—I will show it to you, pitiful creature.”
“What!?”
Hearing this, a nearly maddened Wangchuan stopped, staring intently at her.
Could this woman truly reproduce Akaha’s glory perfectly?
Suddenly, golden “snow” began falling around Luo You.
Unlike the orange-gold, aggressive color of the Three Lives Ten Directions Pure Land, this was pure gold—soft and peaceful, as if witnessing all past and future lives, soul-capturing.
The golden snow didn’t melt upon touching the ground. Instead, golden lotuses sprouted!
The lotuses intertwined and climbed behind Luo You, forming a waist-high, exquisitely branching plant.
At the branch tips hung coin-sized golden fruits, which Luo You plucked and placed in her mouth.
“Yu Wushuang—The Wonderful Method of Rebirth.”
The overwhelming aura of power seemed to burst free from constraints, eagerly emerging from her petite body.
It gathered into a terrifying magical shadow, covering Wangchuan’s terrified face.
