Chapter 8:  All the Magical Girls Are Doomed

The intense magical reaction churned the viscous gel clinging to Su Mu’s body into ripples.

It blocked the magic from leaking out of the probe, allowing it to seep unreservedly into every inch of Su Mu’s skin and every cell within.

With a sudden “click”, the teething toy in Su Mu’s mouth cracked like a spider’s web.

The sound made Tang Nai’s eyes narrow slightly as she gradually reduced the magical output of the probe.

Enough was enough; any more, and Su Mu’s latent potential would be awakened.

Su Mu’s taut nerves finally relaxed.

The mechanical arm retracted back under the bed, but she no longer struggled, simply lying limp on the mattress.
