Before Lillian could say anything, Eleonora had already started waving her hands frantically, trying to explain herself.
“It’s not that I don’t trust you…”
“t, t…”
“I’m just afraid that woman Ophelia will bully you again, you…”
Eleonora got stuck, not knowing how to finish her explanation.
“In short, letting Eileen go with you is for your own good…”
Eleonora pressed her lips together.
She was genuinely afraid that Lillian would think what she said yesterday was a lie, that she was only having Eileen accompany her because she didn’t trust her.
“Alright, it’s fine.” Lillian squatted down, looking up at Eleonora.
She squeezed Eleonora’s hand, reassuring her.
Bringing Eileen along was really no problem.
Besides, she could always send Eileen away when it was time to talk business.
This worked out well for both Eleonora and herself.
Even if Eleonora said she trusted her, she probably didn’t trust Ophelia. With Eileen around, she’d feel much more at ease.
Come to think of it, if Eileen was present, Ophelia would probably restrain herself too.
A win-win situation.
I have no objections.
Thinking this, Lillian gave Eleonora a bright and open smile.
A faint pink appeared on Eleonora’s face. Her gaze darted away, as if she wanted to turn her head and avoid Lillian’s eyes.
But in the end, she forced herself to look at Lillian.
She nodded slightly, revealing a shy smile.
“Oh—”
Seeing this scene, Eileen couldn’t help but feel all kinds of emotions.
She crossed her arms in front of her chest, closed her eyes, lifted her chin, her expression solemn.
“Goddess above—”
She was about to ascend to heaven.
“Eileen, you’re going along, and you only have one task.” Eleonora turned to instruct Eileen, “Keep a close eye on that purple-haired woman. If she dares to lay a finger on Lillian, you must think of a way…”
Eleonora suddenly looked at Lillian, falling silent.
“What’s wrong?” Lillian was a bit puzzled.
“You go out first.” Eleonora’s expression turned serious.
“Oh, oh?” Lillian didn’t understand, but still turned and walked out.
Eleonora would never hurt her, so she just went along with it.
But… this just felt strange…
Lillian turned and walked out the door.
The room was left with only Eleonora and Eileen.
Eleonora stared at Eileen, her face stern.
Eileen stared right back, her gaze resolute.
“Eileen, take this with you.”
Eleonora handed a small brooch to Eileen.
“Oh?” Eileen took it and pinned it on the front of her maid uniform.
“Remember, once Ophelia and Lillian are together, leave this brooch somewhere near them.”
“But, Miss, what does this thing do?”
Eileen was puzzled. What could this brooch possibly do?
“Eileen, what do you think of Ophelia?” Eleonora didn’t answer the question, instead she asked Eileen.
“It’s fine, just speak honestly.”
“Uh… A third party trying to break up you and Lillian?” Eileen answered cautiously.
“Very good. You really are the maid of the Cohen family.”
Eleonora was very satisfied; she really hadn’t misjudged her.
Ever since last time when Eileen pointed out the matter between Lillian and Ophelia, Eleonora knew Eileen would become her capable assistant.
Getting Eleonora’s approval, Eileen looked genuinely happy.
She chuckled.
“Of course, Miss and Lillian are just meant to be together!”
M-meant to be together?
Eleonora’s face turned a little red.
This Eileen really knew how to talk.
“Your bonus this month is doubled.”
“Really!?” Eileen’s eyes sparkled.
She seemed to see all kinds of delicious food floating before her.
Eleonora gave a firm nod.
Since Eileen was on her side, she needed to explain the purpose of this thing.
“This is a special Leave-Image Stone I made. It can record projections.”
“Oh…” Eileen scratched her head, apparently understanding, “But, Miss, what use is this for you and Lillian?”
Could it be?
Did Miss have some unusual hobby, just like in those romance storybooks?
Did she like to watch Lillian and others make babies?
Eileen felt her heart bleeding.
She hadn’t even had her chance yet, and now Miss was surrendering already…
Eleonora gave Eileen, who had suddenly wilted after being so enthusiastic, a puzzled look, but she ignored her and continued to explain:
“If you record that Purple-haired Vixen making any advances on Lillian,” Eleonora showed a fierce, gritted-teeth smile.
Eleonora had spent all night thinking of how to deal with Ophelia.
Two approaches.
First, have Lillian keep her distance from Ophelia.
No need to worry about that. Since Lillian promised her, she’d definitely do it.
Second, make Ophelia stay away from Lillian.
But aside from beating Ophelia up to drive her away, Eleonora really didn’t have any other ideas.
She was strong enough to pin Ophelia to the ground.
But Eleonora had to find a reason to act.
Otherwise, knowing Lillian’s character, she’d definitely try to stop her.
She didn’t want to make things hard for Lillian.
So she’d have to find another way.
That’s where the Leave-Image Stone came in handy.
Though, because it was a rush job, it could only record images, no sound.
But that would do.
Let Eileen carry the Leave-Image Stone to gather evidence of Ophelia’s advances.
Then she’d have a justified reason to strike hard.
Purple-haired Vixen?
Eileen’s eyes lit up.
Maybe things weren’t as she thought?
Eileen saw Eleonora clench one fist in the other palm.
“I’ll have a reason to teach that Purple-haired Vixen a lesson!”
Oh oh oh?
So it was about beating up a homewrecker?
Yes, yes, yes.
Miss!
That’s exactly right.
When dealing with a homewrecker, you gotta go all out!
Thank goodness, Miss didn’t have that kind of hobby.
“Yes, Miss! I guarantee the mission will be accomplished!” Eileen answered Eleonora with a firm tone.
“You have magic power, right?”
“I do, Miss.”
“Good, I’ll teach you how to use this thing.”
“Lillian, Miss says you can come in now.”
Eileen poked her head through the door, her face full of smiles.
Lillian had been waiting outside for quite a while. Seeing Eileen like this, she couldn’t help but get curious.
“What were you two talking about? Why are you so happy?”
“Hehe~” Eileen was in an excellent mood. “Miss gave me a bonus.”
So that’s what it was.
Lillian walked into the bedroom. Eleonora was already sitting at the dressing table, a faint smile on her face.
So what was Eleonora so happy about?
Picking up the comb, Lillian was a little curious.
“Master, what were you all talking about?”
“Wanna know?”
Lillian nodded.
“Then beg me.”
As far as Lillian knew of Eleonora, she would never say something like that.
Lillian was always the confident, resolute type—she would never say something like this.
Lillian walked around behind Eleonora, came in front of her, blocking the dressing table, and squatted down.
She looked up at Eleonora, her hands clasped in front of her chest, looking at her with anticipation.
“Please, Master~”
“Eh?” Eleonora felt a wave of heat spread throughout her body. Her lips trembled, and she made a wavering “Waaah…” sound.
Finally, she took a deep breath and shouted furiously,
“Silly Lillian! What are you saying!”

After so long, the system finally popped up again.
Lillian smiled knowingly.
Isn’t Eleonora just adorable?
