“Qingchan.”
A familiar and gentle male voice entered Ji Qingchan’s ears, yet her mind was in utter chaos.
Her body was gently shaken. Ji Qingchan struggled to open her eyes, and the first thing she saw was a pair of eyes like a deep blue starry sky, shimmering with countless stars.
“Jiang… Jiang Chi,” she murmured, still a bit dazed.
“Stop sleeping. Today is our wedding.”
“What did you say?” Ji Qingchan’s consciousness gradually cleared.
“I said, we’re getting married!” Jiang Chi smiled at her, a faint smile playing on his lips, his eyes filled with tenderness.
“I want to marry you, the girl I love, to give her a home, a place to rely on.”
Without giving Ji Qingchan time to think, he bent down and scooped her up in his arms, striding toward the wedding venue.
With blurred vision, Ji Qingchan’s gaze accidentally fell on the large full-length mirror in the room. In the reflection, she saw a pure girl dressed in a holy wedding gown — it seemed to be herself.
“Mr. Jiang Chi, do you take Ms. Ji Qingchan as your wife? In prosperity and adversity, in wealth or poverty, in health or sickness, will you love her, cherish her, and protect her until the end of time?”
The solemn and sacred voice of the wedding officiant rang out.
“I do.” Jiang Chi answered resolutely without hesitation, his voice firm and clear.
The strange feeling in her heart grew stronger. Ji Qingchan pressed her lips tightly but did not respond.
The man chuckled softly, then forcefully kissed the girl’s cherry-like rosy lips. His warm breath scattered across her fair jade-like ear, causing her to tremble.
“Ji Qingchan… I love you.”
His tone was both strong and gentle, filled with deep affection. After a passionate kiss, the girl seemed to melt like water, collapsing weakly into his arms, her cheeks flushed, looking utterly adorable.
Jiang Chi looked down at the shy girl in his arms and couldn’t help but reach out to undo the buttons on her wedding dress, eager to savor the exquisite scenery and unique taste hidden beneath.
“Stop it.” Ji Qingchan slapped away his restless “claws” and scolded him with a pouty glare.
“We still have to go toast your parents, my parents, and my brother later. You better act dominant—I like dominant.”
At her words, the man’s expression inexplicably turned strange.
He reached out and gently ruffled the girl’s hair. “Wife, you’re still sleepy. You’re an orphan. You don’t have parents or a brother. But from now on, my parents will be your parents, and my family will be your family.”
I’m an orphan?
Ji Qingchan was puzzled.
Had she remembered wrong? “Ji Qingchan” really was an orphan, with no father or mother, no one to rely on. But she clearly remembered her mother was called Huang Qingchuan, her father Ji Hong, and her older brother Ji Haotong.
Wait.
Why did her father and brother have the surname “Ji,” but she had the surname “Ji” with a different character?
A flash of clarity suddenly crossed her beautiful eyes. Ji Yue Nian jolted awake!
“Get off me!” She suddenly burst up, throwing a fierce punch at the person in front of her!
She remembered!
What Ji Qingchan? What marriage? It’s all fake! All fake!!
“Qingchan’s at it again.”
The punch was easily caught by the man, his face full of adoration.
He looked at the person in front of him—who had transformed from the pure girl in the wedding dress to the commanding older sister in seconds—and sighed helplessly.
“Trying to play the doting husband game again, huh, Qingchan…”
“Shut up!” Ji Yue Nian glared fiercely, brushing his hand away and then slapping herself sharply several times.
Wake up! Wake up! It’s a dream! A dream! And a damn 18+ dream!!
Ji Yue Nian did not want to have any adult scenes in her dream, especially where she was the passive one underneath.
“Qingchan, stop messing around.” The man’s deep voice carried an unshakable dominance.
Before Ji Yue Nian could react, Jiang Chi suddenly pulled her into a tight embrace, spun her swiftly, and pushed her onto the bed. Ji Yue Nian’s eyes widened as she struggled desperately, but Jiang Chi’s strength was overwhelming, easily restraining her resistance.
Then, she had no idea where he got a hemp rope, but he quickly tied up her hands and feet, leaving her completely immobilized.
Jiang Chi looked at the long-haired, incredibly sexy older sister in the wedding gown on the bed. Licking his dry lips, he pressed her firmly beneath him and slowly leaned down.
……
….
“Jiang Chi! Curse your entire family!!”
The furious roar thundered throughout the entire rented room. The volume was so loud that even the birds peacefully perched on the treetops were startled into frantic flight, flapping and fleeing in panic.
After a near-crazed fit of impotent rage, it took a while for Ji Yue Nian’s volatile mood to calm, and memories of yesterday gradually returned.
Yesterday, after Jiang Chi unexpectedly kissed her on the forehead, she had blushed and run away.
Ji Yue Nian didn’t know why she felt shy. After all, he was an old lecher—normally, she should have trembled in fear but maintained a calm face.
But at that moment, she just couldn’t help running away, her cheeks flushed and her mind blank, like… a pure young girl.
Suppressing the strange conclusion that even she found odd, Ji Yue Nian reached for the phone on the bedside table and glanced at the time: 10:33. Looks like she overslept again.
Frowning, she switched accounts, and as soon as she logged in, a small red dot caught her eye—a message from Jiang Chi around 11 p.m. last night, inviting her to visit his home this Saturday.
Instantly, the handsome face that had slowly leaned down flashed again in her mind.
Feeling inexplicably irritated, Ji Yue Nian shook her head hard. Suddenly, she noticed a change in the weight at the back of her head.
Reaching back to touch it, she saw a head of sleek, black dreadlocks.
Ji Yue Nian made a second attempt and picked up the scissors, swiftly cutting off her long hair in three quick snips.
Only after cutting her hair did Ji Yue Nian remember a previously overlooked question.
She clearly remembered falling asleep last night as “Ji Qingchan,” so why did she wake up this morning with a “male” appearance?
Could it be that she had turned over the silver coin unconsciously while sleeping?
