She remained as unstoppable as a heavy war machine.
The Silver Dragon Armor covering Su Yun’s body shimmered with a cold metallic luster. Pale purple thunder flowed through the dragon-shaped engravings, crackling as snakes of electricity dripped from the edges of the bone plates. They struck the scorched earth, burning tiny black pits that hissed with faint wisps of green smoke.
Every step she took was accompanied by a dull tremor, the ground cracking into spiderweb-like patterns that radiated several meters away. Withered trees in her path were swept by the intense wind pressure, exploding horizontally into a flurry of wood chips and leaves. In the midst of the flying debris, she pierced through the layers of tree shadows, carrying an aura of world-ending destruction as she appeared directly in front of the eleven red-named mages.
“Who is she?”
Ning Die clenched her trembling little hands so tightly that her knuckles turned white. Her clear eyes were filled with confusion and shock, and she unconsciously held her breath.
There were only about forty students in their class, and she remembered everyone’s appearance and aura clearly.
The pure white Samoyed before her, encased in Silver Dragon Armor and wreathed in purple lightning, possessed neither a familiar soft aura nor the awkwardness expected of a low-rank mage. That naturally honed combat presence was more suffocating than any mid-rank mage she had ever seen. Although she was in a melee stance, the pressure she exerted was more scalp-tingling than any long-range magic.
Ning Die couldn’t help but shrink back, the golden power of laws on her shield fluctuating slightly due to her nervousness.
Su Yun also noticed Ning Die being protected behind the **[Decree: Protection]** shield.
Hidden beneath the Silver Dragon Armor’s helmet, her cute face saw her eyebrows quirk upward slightly. Her nose twitched, catching a faint, familiar scent on Ning Die.
‘To think I’d run into an acquaintance here. That means I definitely can’t let these red-named mages live, lest she gets caught in the crossfire.’
‘One against eleven?’
Su Yun came to a halt, her fists clenching slightly. The pale purple thunder grew even more brilliant, rolling over her fists like a surging purple river. Tiny snakes of electricity danced through the gaps in her fingers, crackling as they burned a series of scorched marks into the ground.
‘If I hadn’t been able to use **[Chaos Magic • Two Alike]** to convert my endless vitality into mana, I wouldn’t be able to use such pure lightning-element magic.’
She tilted her head, her pure white ears twitching slightly with excitement. Her fluffy tail swept across the ground beneath her bone armor, kicking up fine dust.
Gazing at the red-named mages who had frozen in place upon her sudden appearance, afraid to act recklessly, a cold, thin smile curled on Su Yun’s lips.
It was rare to encounter a situation that was even slightly challenging. It was just as well; large-scale skills would easily affect Ning Die, and she would have missed out on the joy of close-quarters combat. Besides, the Soul Beads that dropped earlier were either white or green, with stats so mediocre they were boring. It was like grinding elite mobs in a game only to have them drop trashy white gear; she didn’t even have the desire to look at them.
With eleven mid-rank mages gathered here, surely something decent would drop this time.
‘Very well. I’ll play around using the lightning magic I “borrowed” from the me in another timeline, combined with Bajiquan.’
A werewolf let out a low howl as thick black mana condensed on its claws. Its muscles swelled, and its height instantly shot up to 3 meters. Its grayish-black fur stood on end like steel needles, and its amber beastial eyes were filled with rage and wariness.
“I don’t care what kind of monster she is! Everyone, attack together! Cipple her limbs first!”
Before the words had even finished hanging in the air, Su Yun’s figure vanished from the spot, leaving only a pale purple afterimage cutting through the air.
**[Thunder Magic • Bajiquan • Crush]**!
Her body moved like an arrow released from a bow, splashing scorched earth as she shattered the ground beneath her feet. Her fist tore through the air with a piercing whistle, trailing a half-meter-long ribbon of pale purple lightning behind her.
The werewolf was about to swing its claws to parry, and a black mana shield instantly formed over them. However, Su Yun’s fist suddenly accelerated. The thunderous glow tripled in intensity, resembling a lightning ball compressed to the extreme. Carrying the momentum of total annihilation, it slammed heavily into the werewolf’s claws.
*Clang — !*
The deafening sound of metal clashing made the surrounding mages’ eardrums ache. Two low-rank mages even clutched their ears and retreated, blood trickling from the corners of their mouths.
The thunderous light spread frantically along the werewolf’s claws like a spiderweb, instantly swallowing its entire arm. The black mana shield shattered inch by inch under the impact of the lightning, dissipating into a flurry of black light particles.
The fur on the werewolf’s arm was instantly charred, its skin bursting open. Black blood mixed with lightning dripped down, sizzling on the ground and corroding small pits that emitted white smoke. Its massive frame was sent reeling back by the sheer force of the punch, each step leaving deep footprints in the earth until its back slammed heavily against a large tree behind it with a dull *crack*.
The trunk snapped right in the middle. Black blood seeped from the werewolf’s mouth, its eyes wide with unbelievable agony and horror.
Su Yun showed no mercy. Without stopping, she used the recoil from the punch to twist her waist, spinning half a turn like a top. Her long hair traced a beautiful arc in the air. Her other fist, carrying the same violent purple lightning, blasted toward a nearby mage who was attempting to cast fire magic.
The mage had just condensed a basketball-sized fireball with sparks dancing on its surface. However, interfered with by the strong electric field surrounding Su Yun, the fireball wavered, its light flickering uncertainly.
**[Thunder Magic • Bajiquan • Entwine]**!
The lightning rotated and wrapped around her fist at high speeds, forming a thumb-thick pale purple thunder tornado. It contained not only a powerful impact but also an incredibly strong tearing and suction force.
The mage tried to retreat in terror, but his feet were firmly locked by the powerful airflow generated by the thunder tornado. His body leaned forward uncontrollably, his face masking a look of total despair.
In his haste, he propped up an earth-element shield that shimmered with a yellowish glow. Yet, Su Yun’s bone fist pierced straight through the shield. The thunder tornado instantly exploded, tearing the shield fragments and the fireball into pieces simultaneously.
*Splat — !*
The fist slammed hard into the mage’s chest. The lightning flooded into his body through the gaps in his bones, destroying everything along his meridians. The sound of bones shattering was clearly audible, and one could even see the mage’s chest cave in from the internal impact.
The mage spat out a mouthful of charred black blood. His body flew back like a kite with a broken string, slamming heavily into a tree. The trunk collapsed, and wood chips flew everywhere. After a couple of twitches, he went still. Jumping currents of electricity still lingered on the corpse, and his skin turned charred black at a visible rate.
In just two moves, one was injured and one was dead.
The remaining red-named mages were finally intimidated by Su Yun’s ferocity. Their previous contempt vanished, replaced by deep wariness and fear.
The Witch in the midriff-baring outfit narrowed her eyes. She waved her wand rapidly, dark red blood seeping from beneath her fingernails.
**[Blood Magic: Blood Bind]**
Several dark red blood ropes burst from the ground, carrying a heavy scent of rust and stench as they lunged for Su Yun’s limbs. The ropes were covered in tiny barbs and entwined with blood poison capable of corroding mana. Even the grass withered instantly upon contact.
On the other side, two Level 49 peak mid-rank mages exchanged a glance and attacked simultaneously.
**[Earth Magic: Earth Spike Array]**
Countless earth spikes instantly erupted from beneath Su Yun’s feet. The sharp spikes glowed with earth-element mana, their tips glinting with a cold light as they crowded together like bamboo shoots after a rain.
**[Wind Magic: Blade Storm]**
Countless wind blades condensed above one of the men. Uncountable pale green blades spun and sliced, forming an attack net with an extremely wide range. The wind blades howled as they cut through the air, producing a sharp, ear-piercing sound as they descended toward Su Yun.
Meanwhile, the mage covered in oozing sores retreated quietly. A deep, dark green poisonous mist condensed in his palm, filled with tiny bubbles as it slowly drifted toward Su Yun. His poisonous mist could paralyze nerves; even a mid-rank mage would lose the ability to move within 3 seconds of being hit.
