Sige slowly walked up to Xuan Xi and stopped, lowering her head to glance at her.
For some reason, even though she was fully dressed, under Sige’s gaze she felt as if she had been stripped bare.
Sige’s gaze moved from Xuan Xi’s body to her lips, then to her neck—the kiss mark left last night was almost invisible now.
She reached out one hand and, with her finger along Xuan Xi’s jawline, gently lifted her face, exposing her neck completely to the light.
“I won’t charge much interest either.” Her voice was light and airy, yet it made Xuan Xi feel as if a weight had been lifted—as long as Sige was not going to devour her.
“Just this once for now. Sit still and obey my instructions.”
Xuan Xi sat on the edge of the bed, silently feeling Sige’s fingers move up along her jawline, past behind her ear, and stop at the hairline on the back of her neck.
Her fingers were cool; when they touched her skin, Xuan Xi’s body involuntarily tensed, then slowly relaxed, like a river thawing.
She stayed still exactly as Sige had told her.
Although her fingers were nervously clutching the clothes on her knees, her body could only honestly let Sige run her hands all over her.
Sige lowered her head, and her lips landed on her neck again, with a bit more pressure than last night.
But last night Xuan Xi had been unconscious; today she was fully present.
Sige’s lips lingered longer than last night too, her breath brushing over her skin, carrying that distinctive cold fragrance from her body.
Xuan Xi could feel her heavy heartbeat growing clearer in the quiet room, pulsing through her chest.
Sige raised her head and glanced at her, and then—Sige’s lips followed upward, and Xuan Xi calmly closed her eyes.
She thought she had already grown used to the temperature and pressure of Sige’s lips, thought she would not again feel her heart beat so fast it hurt her chest like the first time.
But she was wrong; Sige’s kiss was unlike any before.
First came the edge of contact, then the whole thing settled down.
It was like a stone thrown into water, ripples spreading in circles across the surface.
Sige’s lips were not cool, unlike her hands, and carried a faint fresh scent, very pleasant.
Xuan Xi could feel that soft touch, with a slight cool dampness—left after Sige had just licked her own lips.
Sige deepened the kiss; she tilted her head slightly so their noses offset, and their lips therefore fit together completely, without a single gap, not even air could get in.
Something in Xuan Xi’s mind burned away.
She did not know how she was breathing; her mouth was blocked, her nose was against Sige too, and all the air she inhaled seemed stuck at her throat, unable to go up or down.
She opened her eyes and found that Sige was looking at her too.
Xuan Xi could even see her own reflection in Sige’s pupils.
Sige’s fingers held her jaw, her thumb slid to the corner of her mouth, and pressed lightly on her tightly closed lip seam.
The meaning was clear—open your mouth.
Xuan Xi obediently opened her mouth.
A slit split between her upper and lower lips, like a clam shell pried open a crack.
Sige’s tongue tip slid in through this slit, first the very tip, pausing when it touched the inside of her upper lip, as if giving her one last chance to back out.
Of course Xuan Xi would not, and did not dare, back out.
Although she was extremely nervous now, her back taut like a fully drawn bowstring, her lips still did not close.
She let Sige’s tongue tip slide into her mouth and brush across her teeth; Xuan Xi’s mind went blank.
That feeling was completely different from what she had imagined.
Sige’s tongue tip carried a certain toughness, very flexible.
When it touched the most sensitive spot beneath her tongue tip, a tingling numbness shot straight from the soles of her feet to the crown of her head, making her whole body tremble.
A muffled whimper came from deep in her throat.
Sige’s movements stopped, and she drew back a little, her breath spraying over Xuan Xi’s wet lips.
“What’s wrong? Does it hurt?” Sige’s voice was pressed to its lowest, hoarse.
When she drew back, a very thin silver thread stretched between their lips, flashed once in the light, and broke.
Xuan Xi shook her head, and then Sige kissed her again.
She reached out and held the back of Xuan Xi’s head, her fingertips against her scalp, massaging that spot with extremely light and gentle pressure, letting Xuan Xi’s body relax.
Sige took the chance to slide her tongue in again; the entire surface of her tongue slid along the surface of Xuan Xi’s tongue, and on the way back, the tip curled slightly, hooked Xuan Xi’s tongue tip, and gave a gentle tug outward.
Xuan Xi completely lost control.
Sige held her tongue tip and sucked lightly—Xuan Xi’s throat let out a sound she had never heard from herself, the tail of it drifting upward.
Her nose was filled with the scent of the body wash on Sige.
Her last thread of clear thought disappeared, and she unconsciously kissed back.
Just as she was about to respond, the door was pushed open.
The door lock made no sound at all.
Probably Xuan Xi, who had entered last, had forgotten to lock it.
The door panel hit the wall with a dull thud.
Elsa stood at the doorway, one hand still on the doorknob, the other holding a stack of papers.
Her expression kept changing, as if she knew she had seen something she should not have.
Her whole demeanor was tense.
Xuan Xi and Sige separated the instant the door banged.
Xuan Xi only felt that the corner of her mouth still held the touch of Sige’s lips and… a bit of saliva.
She sat on the edge of the bed and lowered her head to straighten her collar.
Her fingers touched the place where Sige’s lips had just landed; her fingertips were cool, but the skin of her neck and lips was burning hot.
“Uh—did I come at a bad time?” Elsa paused, her gaze meeting Sige’s and Xuan Xi’s.
Sige stood coldly and aloofly at the outer edge of the bed, her back to the window.
Sunlight shone in from behind her; in the backlight, her expression could not be seen clearly, but her fist at her side was clenched tightly, her brows locked, as if she was a little unhappy.
Elsa stood at the doorway and blinked, clearly thinking about how to find an excuse so she would not get flayed by Sige.
“Um—what I wanted to say is, the schedule for tomorrow’s match is out—”
She raised the stack of papers in her hand and waved them.
“Actually, I could have just left them at the door—”
Xuan Xi took a deep breath, buttoned the top button of her clothes, looked up at Elsa, and said irritably, “Go on, what’s so urgent?”
Elsa cleared her throat.
After confirming that Xuan Xi would not let Sige do anything to her, she spoke, “The match schedule is out. The morning after tomorrow is our first match, and it happens to be the team that Vice Director Xing Ye knows. The specific matches and venue arrangements are all on here. Vice Director Xing Ye asked me to bring them for you to see. It’s not really a big deal.”
She put the stack of papers on the small cabinet by the door, her hand still trembling slightly.
“Um—I’ll be going first. You two continue playing.”
“Elsa.” Xuan Xi called her back.
“Is there anything else?”
“No, that’s all.” After saying that, she quickly left, her footsteps fading into the distance, carrying a sense of fleeing in panic.
