Chapter 7: Whose Problem

They called it a fashion show, but in reality, there weren’t many options to choose from.

On top of that, Lin Chu Xi had suddenly become serious for some unknown reason, and the whole situation changed in an instant…

“These plain tops and T-shirts are definitely no good, and the collars are too low—you know that yourself, right?”

After Lin Chu Xi said that, Su Nuo didn’t even get a chance to try on the clothes before quietly putting them back in the closet.

[Control Freak: The new house is ready, not far from your school. When will you come back to live? Mom and Dad want me to take care of you.]

“Control Freak” was the contact name she had for her own older sister.

Just from the label, it was clear Lin Chu Xi wasn’t keen on going back.

There were still two weeks until finals; every day she could delay was a day gained.

Su Nuo, fanning her with one hand, blinked innocently.

“What’s wrong?”

“The collar button’s undone, the one just under the bow tie,” Lin Chu Xi said with mixed feelings.

She looked down at her phone’s clock.

“I’m going to lunch now. Do you want to come, or should I bring you something?”

“Could you bring me something, please?”

She worried that if she went outside, she might bump into someone familiar to Su Xiao Nuo but not to herself, which would be awkward.

After Lin Chu Xi left, Su Nuo hurriedly unbuttoned the collar again, fanning the cleavage.

Then she realized what she was doing and took the clothes off, changing back into the loose pajamas she’d worn before.

Su Xiao Nuo: “Tsk tsk tsk, you’re really generous, huh.”
