Chapter 63: First Variety Game

At first, I hadn’t really wanted to go.

But seeing my viewers’ reactions, I changed my mind on the spot.

It actually sounded like it could be fun.

I was also a bit curious, what did my viewers look like in real life?

Besides, the event venue wasn’t small.

If I wore a mask and walked around, no one would recognize me.

I had never shown my face before, so it’s not like someone could just grab a random person and guess it was me.

It was the obvious reason.

I genuinely wanted to see my viewers in person.

If not, I wouldn’t have even considered going to the event.

If this were my exhibition, that’d be a different story.

But since this was Heart Memorial’s official event, there was no way to make it obvious which pieces were mine.

As I continued casually mentioning the Heart Memorial event,

I suddenly noticed.

The number had shot up.

Compared to before, my viewership had grown dramatically.

‘…At this point, I might as well do a variety game stream.’

I had always said that once my average viewership hit 1,000, I’d start playing variety games.

And this wasn’t just because of a bracket tournament drawing in random traffic.

This was pure, consistent viewership.

It was time.

“That aside, should we try a variety game today? We’ve got enough viewers now.”

Made sense.

I had been saying for a while that I’d start variety gaming once I reached a certain number of viewers.

I wasn’t sure if they’d actually like it, but it was worth trying.

“Alright, I’ll set up a poll with some solid choices.”

It was better to pick popular games.

If I went with something too niche, people might not enjoy watching.

With that in mind, I started selecting games.

“First, I’ll add this one.”

I added a medieval-themed game to the list.

“Next, this one seems like an obvious choice, right?”

Since I had included a medieval game, it only made sense to add a Western-themed one too.

It was already well-loved by gamers.

Chat seemed worried about how long it would take.

So, I reassured them.

“I’ll be streaming almost nonstop until classes start, except when I’m working. So don’t worry about it.”

There were about two weeks left until the semester began.

I planned to stream as much as possible until then.

Might as well, while I still had the time.

Long streams would become way harder once school started.

With that thought, I added more options to the poll.

The reason was simple.

I had expected medieval and western games to split the votes more evenly.

I didn’t think the medieval game would dominate like this.

So, right then and there, I bought the medieval game—Kingdom Come.

And that was true.

The game looked fun, but I had been waiting until my viewership was high enough to make it worthwhile.

Now, I could play it without worrying.

Since the chat was getting chaotic again, I immediately launched the game and got started.

“I’m going with the warrior build. Gonna be up front, swinging a mace.”

I didn’t really enjoy rogue-style gameplay.

It lacked the satisfying back-and-forth of heavy combat.

Not that I was particularly invested.
