Shen Mosi blinked at Xunian in confusion, her eyes blank as she wondered why she was chained with iron.
Xunian lowered her gaze, her fair hand starting to unbutton Shen Mosi’s clothes.
The first button.
The second.
The third.
!!!
Shen Mosi’s face turned crimson in an instant.
“What… are you doing?” Shen Mosi asked, her voice trembling.
“This is your punishment for deceiving me.”
Wasn’t it supposed to be a reward?
As Xunian undid each button, Shen Mosi leaned back against the railing, her breathing quickening, her chest heaving slightly, her whole body turning as red as a steamed crab.
Here… it was just the two of them…
Anything could happen.
“Mm…”
Wherever that fair hand touched, shivers ran through her, sometimes pausing, sometimes moving, gliding softly like the gentlest cotton, carrying a fleeting, ticklish sensation.
It felt like a roller coaster, rising and falling, her body caught between pleasure and discomfort.
As long as it was Xunian, she liked it all.
Shen Mosi silently tried to endure her surging emotions, letting Xunian have her way.
While her eyes were still hazy, Xunian asked,
“What is your relationship with that Shen Mosi?”
“Mm… what are you… saying…” Shen Mosi answered brokenly.
“What’s your relationship?”
Shen Mosi really couldn’t stand it anymore; she easily broke free from the iron chain and lunged at Xunian.
Xunian hadn’t expected her to escape so suddenly.
Caught off guard, she was knocked right into Shen Mosi’s arms, her lips crashing into a soft, cloud-like sensation as her body tumbled backward uncontrollably.
Shen Mosi shielded the back of Xunian’s head as they fell to the floor, their soft bodies colliding.
Even through the fabric, Xunian could feel the heat radiating from her.
Her heart pounded wildly like a startled deer, and a flush bloomed on her own face.
Warm breath brushed against her sensitive ear, making her shiver.
The voice of the Duke’s Daughter, sultry and slightly husky, whispered by her ear,
“Let me teach you, alright?”
Shen Mosi knew Xunian liked the Duke’s Daughter’s voice, so she deliberately spoke in that tone…
“Mm…”
Xunian became dizzy with the kisses, momentarily forgetting that she’d wanted to ask exactly what relationship Shen Mosi had with that Top Student Shen Mosi.
Held down and kissed on the ground, it was only afterward that she remembered.
Xunian pushed her away a little, putting some space between them.
She glared at Shen Mosi, who clearly wanted to continue, and said, “Answer my question.”
“We have a whole day~” Shen Mosi nuzzled against Xunian’s soft cheek, “It’ll be a long time before we meet again…”
The reminder pricked at Xunian’s conscience. Feeling guilty again, she stopped asking,
And let Shen Mosi hold her and kiss her again.
After a while.
Shen Mosi let go of Xunian, looking at the mark she’d left on Xunian’s lips,
A tiny wound, which she kissed again with satisfaction.
Now, it was time to teach her something real.
“You should do it like this… Do you understand?”
“Mm…”
Xunian’s eyes were misty, her whole being as if soaking in warmth.
When she heard those words, she didn’t respond right away, a dazed look in her eyes.
“Still haven’t learned? Looks like I’m not trying hard enough…”
“Mm… no more, mm…”
The girl’s broken, wavering voice echoed along the corridor for a long time, lasting
Until the sky outside gradually darkened.
……
Xunian lay limply in Shen Mosi’s arms, too exhausted to move.
She felt like a salted fish tossed around in a frying pan, so tired she didn’t want to lift a finger.
Damn it… she’d been completely devoured again.
Clearly, in her imagination, the Duke’s Daughter should be the one desperately begging for mercy right now.
Next time, she definitely…
Xunian secretly vowed, the next time she saw the Duke’s Daughter, she wouldn’t let her off so easily.
Ever since she opened the door, time here seemed to have stopped, all the strange happenings vanishing into thin air.
Of course, the strangest of all hadn’t disappeared yet.
It was the person who now called herself Shen Mosi, the Duke’s Daughter.
Shen Mosi fastened her buttons, her lips still curved in a gentle smile, “Did you learn it?”
“I learned!”
Xunian answered quickly—she really didn’t want to go another round, or she’d probably get stuck in this haunted world for good.
Xunian flipped over like a salted fish, finally getting out of Shen Mosi’s embrace.
Shen Mosi knew that Xunian was leaving.
“Will you… wait for me next time?”
Her eyes reddened a little as she looked at Xunian, those pitch-black eyes full of reluctance. “I will.”
Hearing that answer, Xunian felt a weight lift from her heart, though she didn’t know why.
She gently took Shen Mosi’s hand, her face flushing as she recalled what had just happened. “Come with me upstairs.”
“Okay.”
Xunian led her upward. “So what should I call you now?”
“You already know my name, don’t you?”
“Fira.”
“Mm.”
The corridor seemed much longer than usual.
Xunian noticed that Fira was manipulating it, deliberately extending the passage, but she didn’t call her out on it and simply held her hand, walking through floor after floor.
Finally, after who knows how many flights, she saw the door to the Roof.
Her hand was suddenly empty.
Fira let go of her.
“Xunian,” Xunian turned to see that dazzling smile that made her heart race. “I’m not going to let you go.”
Xunian nodded, showing she agreed.
She inserted the Key into the door to the Roof, opening it once more.
The Time Tunnel appeared, the same prismatic black as before.
Xunian stepped in, her figure dissolving into white light.
With that, the last of the Players left this world.
In the end, no one knew what relationship Shen Muen had with Top Student Shen Muen,
Because Xunian forgot to ask.
……
At the Top, a bronze Key shaped like a Book clattered to the floor. Fira bent down,
Picked it up and examined it in her palm.
The Key slowly dissolved into shimmering light and vanished. A red gleam flashed in her eyes, her lips curving into a faint smile.
The energy in this Key to Pass was quite substantial.
It looks like we’ll be meeting again soon, Xunian.
Just as she was about to leave, the entire space of the School Building suddenly destabilized, beginning to shake violently.
A deep crack split the wall of the Classroom, quickly spreading across the whole surface.
Desks and chairs knocked into each other with the Classroom’s shuddering, making a piercing noise.
Fira had just steadied herself when a Crimson Chain appeared out of nowhere, rapidly wrapping around her several times, confining her to a tiny area.
Fira’s expression grew cold. She pressed her hand against the Crimson Barrier binding her, a surge of immense power flooding from her palm and enveloping the red enclosure.
After a long while, with a crisp sound, the Crimson Chain shattered.
The girl with crimson eyes stepped out. She had now returned to her complete form, long golden curls cascading down her back, her tall, graceful figure floating in the air.
The Classroom stopped shaking. The girl stood dazed in the half-collapsed center of the room.
What was she supposed to do again?
It felt like she’d forgotten something… something very important.
