“Oh, its level isn’t ridiculously high. But level isn’t everything. Compared to the other spiders, this one’s way bigger. Its skills aren’t anything special either… but there’s one crucial difference. Unlike the others that are already dead and can’t give me skills, this one’s alive!” 

Iris kept checking the status window while occasionally smacking the approaching queen spider with her whip.

She focused her mind and examined the queen spider’s body more thoroughly.

The spider furiously spat out venomous liquid, but thankfully, it didn’t reach Iris.

Fortunately, this one didn’t seem capable of ranged attacks. 

“I want to obtain [!]!” 

Cannot learn yet.

Chastity Girl’s level is too low. 

It wasn’t a rejection.

The message said “not yet” — meaning it could be learned later. 

“Stay still!”

“Hisss, hisss!” 

Iris, while occasionally lashing the struggling queen spider with her spicy whip, focused on acquiring the skill. 

“Ugh, if that’s not possible, then what about [Web]? Can I at least learn that one?” 

Please, anything… Then a message popped up — half-welcome, half-despairing:

“Oh, I got it. Phew. Of course… Chastity Girl took it again. Not surprising anymore.” 

She couldn’t understand why she was able to learn [Web] but not [Paralysis Venom].

Maybe because synthesizing poison through chains was harder?

Whatever the reason, she now had a new skill — and she had to use it soon to make it hers.

As Iris kept her eye on the Queen Spider, preparing to test the skill, she suddenly heard Rainbow Girl’s voice from behind. 

“My gosh… where on earth did you learn a skill like that?” 

“Huh? Ah… it just kind of awakened, I guess.” 

Iris replied without looking back, raising a hand — a signal to stay focused.

After Rainbow Girl went quiet, Iris muttered to herself to use the web skill.

That’s when the unthinkable happened. 

A chill went down her backside.

Suddenly, the web shot out — from behind her.

Specifically, a hole formed in the chain sticking out from under her skirt, and the web burst out like a firework.

Iris’s face turned pale, as if she had wet herself on a bus.

But she couldn’t afford to look away from the Queen Spider — so she could only express her despair verbally. 

“What the hell… why…?” 

Rainbow Girl, who got caught in the web that suddenly shot from Iris’s rear, screamed in shock.

Then came the frantic, confused stammering. 

“Wahh! Oh my gosh! Oh, oh my!”

“I—I’m so sorry…” 

Iris’s pale face turned bright red.

She helped clear the web off Rainbow Girl’s body, her shoulders slumping from embarrassment. 

“This is… spider web? Why did it come at me… did it come from behind you, Miss Angel Girl?”

“Ah, uh… well, let’s deal with the queen spider first.” 

Iris deflected the question with an awkward excuse.

Sweat rolled down her temple. 

“Wait… does that mean… I have to shoot the web from my backside?” 

She’d always wondered when watching movies.

Don’t spiders eject silk from near their anus?

Then why does Spider-Man shoot it from his hands?

She’d even found someone online asking the same thing.

A commenter replied: “Because otherwise the hero would look ridiculous. It’s just a cinematic license.”

She remembered thinking, “Oh, I see. Yeah, a hero needs to look cool.” 

But now— 

“Then why don’t I look cool?! Am I even a real hero?” 

When she first awakened her power, she thought she’d never be more shocked.

But reality kept proving her wrong.

Every time she got a new skill, she thought it couldn’t get worse — and yet here she was, now able to shoot webs from her butt.

Apparently, the disgrace of skills knows no bounds. 

“Can’t I shoot it from my hand like Spider-Man? Really, there’s no other way?” 

While Iris stood stunned by her new skill, the queen spider suddenly lunged forward, using a skill. 

“Dodge!”

“Ah!” 

Startled, Iris and Rainbow Girl quickly retreated.

The queen spider closed in fast, snapping its sharp jaws.

If they were caught, a human body would be sliced clean in half.

Cornered, Rainbow Girl whimpered, 

“What do we do? Are we going to die like this?”

“It’s okay! Just keep the buffs coming!” 

They couldn’t go down like this.

Strength returned to Iris as Rainbow Girl, encouraged by her determined voice, kept casting buffs.

Iris pulled out her pincers and jabbed at the queen spider relentlessly. 

“Hisss! Hrk!” 

“Die, you monster!” 

The momentum shifted.

The spider stumbled backward, but even after repeated hits, it didn’t fall — too big and bulky.

She needed a finishing move. 

“I have to use my new skill. Do I have to aim my butt at it…? Or…?” 

She remembered the tight shorts she wore earlier.

Just in case, she supported the back of one thigh and lifted her leg high, exposing the inside of her skirt — then activated the web skill.

Miraculously, a small hole opened between the chastity belt’s chains, and the web shot out forward. 

“Hrk!” 

“Eek!” 

Even Iris was surprised — she hadn’t expected it to shoot from the front.

A thick strand of web wrapped tightly around the queen spider’s body.

Maybe it was confused that a human had used a spider skill — it flailed in panic, visibly stunned.

Even monsters were shocked by Chastity Girl’s skills. 

Iris capitalized on the moment and raised her leg again to shoot more web. 

“Wrap the queen spider up completely!” 

She fired the web in rapid bursts, covering the queen spider in layer upon layer of sticky silk.

No matter how big it was, if it couldn’t move, it wasn’t scary.

Iris darted around, anchoring the spider to the ground.

Every time she fired the skill, she had to lift her leg and expose her skirt, which was humiliating — but defeating the enemy was worth it. 

“Yah!” 

With a shout, she kept spraying the web.

She was thankful she wore shorts that morning — if not, she would’ve had to expose her underwear every time the skill activated. 

Rainbow Girl, who had been watching the grotesque yet strangely cool skill in a daze, clapped and cheered. 

“Amazing! Just amazing! Haha, take that, queen spider! Caught in its own web!” 

“Heh…” 

Thank goodness the person she met in this cave was another female hero.

If it had been a guy, even with shorts on, she couldn’t have fought while exposing herself like this.

The bound queen spider writhed in weak protest, but it was no use.

The web had completely wrapped around even its head, rendering it unable to use any skills. 

“Hisss!” 

“Too late!” 

The queen spider finally tried firing a web from its rear, but it was useless.

For the monster, the web was a trap or storage tool — not for combat.

Though powerful, it lacked cunning.

Caught off guard by Iris’s tactic, it couldn’t even fight back. 

Once the spider was fully bound, Iris pummeled it with her whip and pincers.

The queen spider could do nothing and was beaten to death. 

“Hrk….”
