Orianna did not respond, strands of vines guiding everyone’s landing points.
Ailin was the first to arrive, suddenly feeling an unprecedented sense of comfort, she looked at her panel in surprise.

…
Almost instantly, her whole body felt as light as if she were flying, and not only that, those vines could even assist in attacks.
The vines wrapped around the Unicorn, quickly restricting its movements.
The next second, a black sword energy blossomed, cutting through all the entangling vines.
A figure in golden armor with a scorpion braid instantly charged to the front of the Unicorn.
Ailin’s descending strike paused for a moment, instinctively wanting to avoid the other person, but she didn’t make it in time, getting sent flying backward by a spinning kick from that golden-armored figure.
The black longsword in that figure’s hand was fast as lightning, instantly slashing the Unicorn’s health into the red zone.
“Ugh!”
The Unicorn abruptly arched backward, golden wings bursting from its back as it prepared to step into the air and flee.
“Heehee, don’t run away~”
A playful voice came through, and from the top of the oak tree, a rain of fruit-like arrows descended instantly.
“Ugh—”
The Golden Unicorn was pressed back down against the tree, countless arrows transforming into long spikes, pinning it firmly to the trunk.
“I-I’ll help too!”
A trembling fortune teller’s voice sounded, but before she could act, a fox shadow had already swung a dagger, unleashing a dazzling critical hit, the Unicorn instantly at death’s door.
“Hmph~”
Freya raised her sword arrogantly, the corner of her eye catching a cat shadow charging at extreme speed from the darkness, while something in the sky was diving down fast.
She coldly laughed and plunged the black-misted longsword in her hand into the ground, then looked up and found the core of this chaotic mess across the way—a woman with flowing silver hair, wielding an ice-blue longsword, her target aimed squarely at the sliver of health left on the Unicorn.
“Interesting.”
Freya’s gaze flickered. This woman’s stats were far too high for an ordinary warrior.

…
The buffs weren’t overwritten.
In an instant, Freya was certain—this person was Orianna and the others’ former teammate.
Only that rumored former teammate could command Orianna and her group like this.
Freya raised her sword and slashed horizontally through the air, yet despite striking empty space, the sword energy appeared directly in front of where that person was descending.
Lisi’s gaze sharpened, her body flipping midair, boots hooking onto the oak trunk, dodging the sword energy while transforming her straight fall into a dive, charging straight at Freya.
No greeting whatsoever, a sword strike straight to the face.
“So you’re that Lisi?”
Freya smiled.
Someone actually dared to duel her in swordsmanship.
“Clang—”
The moment the two swords touched, dozens of clashing sounds erupted in an instant.
“Oh? Soya’s Basic Swordsmanship, you’re from Soya too.”
Freya raised an eyebrow, suddenly stepping forward with pressure, her proud face nearly pressing against that silver-haired woman’s.
She casually blew out a breath, each sword strike faster than the last.
Lisi stared at Freya’s face, brow slightly furrowed. This Hero had an intense killing intent.
She glanced left and right, confirming Lili Ya was in position atop the oak, then decisively tanked a strike and quickly retreated.
At the top of the oak, Lili Ya suddenly yanked a spider silk taut. The Golden Unicorn that had been pinned to the tree was instantly wrapped in silk threads, and then a single Spark suddenly appeared, igniting the oil-soaked threads.
“Trying to rob my prey? How foolish.”
Freya had already slashed her sword energy into the ground earlier. If she wanted, she could finish off that Magic Beast in an instant.
The only reason she was dragging it out was to watch these people’s efforts turn to ash.
The moment someone who worked so hard completely gives up is always the most beautiful sight in the world.
“Boom—”
A black sword energy burst out from beneath the oak tree, slashing straight at the Magic Beast.

“Thanks~”
A light, airy voice suddenly came through.
Freya froze for a moment. Looking toward the direction of the voice, the silver-haired woman had already vanished.
She frowned, wondering what the other person was thanking her for, when she suddenly stiffened.
On the oak tree ahead, the corpse of the dead Unicorn crashed down heavily, and every single crystal on the body had been stripped clean.
She stared blankly at those silk threads—the threads seemed capable of cutting through crystal, having neatly sliced off every crystal on the Crystal Beast’s body, leaving only an empty shell.
Freya suddenly realized—these people were never trying to fight for the kill in the first place.
“This is…”
Phoebe landed in shock. She’d only been delayed by that He Zi for a few seconds—how was the Crystal Beast already this clean when she came back?
She quickly looked around for her opponents, but they were already long gone.
“San! Dra!!”
Freya roared in fury, the massive sound violently echoing through the valley.
“I-I-I’m here…”
“Find their traces for me! Chase them!”
“Y-y-y-y-yes…”
Sandra hastily pulled out her Crystal Ball and followed the traces, leading the pursuit directly.
“Hey… what just happened…”
An Elf Girl with thick glasses slowly crawled out from beneath the oak tree. She’d felt something moving behind her earlier, so she’d felt around to check, and accidentally fell into a tree hollow. She’d just climbed out and felt something new in front of her.
The Elf Girl touched it, then squinted to take a closer look.
Oh wow, a golden Magic Beast corpse. She didn’t know what species it was, but the fur was nice—she could sell it for a good amount of money, and the meat and bones looked pretty valuable too.
The Elf Girl’s eyes instantly turned into coin shapes, and she decisively started skinning it.
…
“Phew… it actually worked…”
On a dim forest path, Lili Ya hugged her staff, trembling with excitement.
Stealing things—that used to be something others did to her. She never thought she’d one day be the one robbing someone else.
She turned to look at Lisi, who had orchestrated it all.
Lisi stared at a pouch full of golden class-change crystals, her eyes gleaming. That Crystal Beast may have looked like a Unicorn, but it carried a full five golden crystals on its body.
Her perception told her each of these crystals possessed an extraordinarily powerful spatial class-change force.
Lisi didn’t waste any time, quickly moving to distribute them. Robbing a Chosen party’s stuff this time was quite the challenge.
If she hadn’t happened to see those four people duck into a side cave when she found the valley, she wouldn’t have had the chance to set things up in advance. Combined with everyone’s decent coordination, it would’ve been really hard to pull off.
Five golden crystals—one for each of the three parties. As for the other two, Lisi wanted to buy one, and the last one would be up to everyone’s opinion.
Ailin’s side had no real opinions; just hearing they’d get one crystal had her already over the moon.
Orianna’s side even wanted to give their crystal to Lisi entirely, and Mei Fei Er flat-out said it felt pretty satisfying, though a shame she didn’t get to join in.
Wei Ya said weakly, “Lisi really knows a lot… Crystal Beast crystals can actually be cut with fire…”
Seeing that no one had any thoughts about the extra crystal, Lisi decisively held onto it for now. Just as she was about to leave, she suddenly heard a piercing cry.
“Screech—”
In the dark sky, a purple bird silhouette spread its wings and flew in at extreme speed, its eyes locked onto something like a rare treasure, glinting with golden light.
