You have to understand, from the very beginning, her attitude was obvious—an arrogant Young Lady.
So trying to get anything from this persona was simply a pipe dream.
More importantly, when she tentatively left, “Ice” didn’t come over to bother her.
Instead, she simply let her stay in the room. Â
This reaction disproved Su Luo’s earlier suspicion—that there was something wrong with the room she had chosen.
If the room really had a problem, “Ice” definitely wouldn’t have let her leave so easily. Â
So if “Ice” wasn’t insisting on swapping rooms because of the room itself, then her unusual behavior was probably due to hiding a secret persona.
But what kind of hidden persona would make her stir up trouble like this?
And what was that strange feeling?
Su Luo sank deeper into her thoughts. Â
Aside from that, Su Luo noticed that everyone’s identity came with certain advantages.
For example, herself—she was the show’s Sponsor;  Qiaoqiaoqiaoyue already had a decent fan base;  You Kewei was a National Team athlete, and just that alone attracted a lot of attention;  Yun Feibai was a university professor, so H University’s students were basically his fixed fans. Â
“Ice’s” advantage was that her persona easily attracted straight men’s attention, since straight men were, indeed, a huge group.
As for Wangyin Shaonian, Su Luo guessed his edge was that everyone he helped with legal cases became his fans.
“knock knock knock!”
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.
Su Luo sighed, interrupted from her thoughts, and got up to open it.
She guessed it was either Yun Feibai or Wangyin Shaonian outside. Â
Sure enough, it was Wangyin Shaonian.
He gave Su Luo a calm nod, and with that face, he looked like he was about to discuss something official. Â
Su Luo stepped aside to let him in.
After Wangyin Shaonian entered the room, Su Luo glanced around to make sure no one was watching before closing the door.
Turning around, she saw Wangyin Shaonian beaming a radiant smile at her.
Su Luo felt her head ache.
Can you imagine your boss smiling at you like a little fool? Â
Anyway, that was exactly how Su Luo felt.
It was already the second month since entering the Player Continent, yet this kid was still so silly? Â
Sigh.
Oh well, at least this silly kid had improved.
At the very least, he didn’t immediately break character at the door.
That was something to celebrate. Â
Looking at him now, Su Luo had the feeling she was looking at Su Mao—both passionate little fools.
Wangyin Shaonian had no idea Su Luo was looking at him with the fondness of a mother.
He was already lost in endless joy. Â
‘What a coincidence, I’ve met my benefactor again!’
‘We must be destined!’
‘I’m so happy, should I just tell my benefactor my hidden persona?’
Lines like these flooded the air.
Before Wangyin Shaonian could say anything, Su Luo cut in: “Let’s each do our own thing and not hold back for each other, okay? Let’s earn our attribute points by our own ability.”
Clearly, Su Luo had guessed Wangyin Shaonian’s intentions and killed them at the cradle.
If she let Wangyin Shaonian let her win, it would be like cheating while playing chess with a child—she simply couldn’t lose face like that.
Hearing this, Wangyin Shaonian immediately dropped his head in disappointment.
Su Luo felt his whole aura wilted like a golden retriever who had fallen into water. Â
The more she looked at him, the more he reminded her of Su Mao, and she couldn’t help but soften, explaining: “It’s not that I want to distance myself from you, it’s just unnecessary.”
Maybe feeling her explanation was too brief, Su Luo added, “I have confidence in my own strength, I don’t need you to give way, okay? It’s respect for both of us.”
He nodded.
Only after this did Wangyin Shaonian raise his head and say, “Then add me as a friend after you’re done.”
Su Luo felt a bit awkward.
She had thought they wouldn’t meet again, and since it was just a small favor at the time, she had directly rejected Wangyin Shaonian’s friend request.
Meeting him again now felt like a public execution! Â
Finally seeing Wangyin Shaonian off, Su Luo flopped hard onto her bed.
She needed to rest well before dinner during this rare break. Â
“knock knock knock!” Â
Just as Su Luo lay comfortably on the bed, the door knocked again.
Looks like sleep was impossible tonight.
Su Luo got up in despair and opened the door. Â
It was Yun Feibai outside.
He didn’t waste time, walking straight in and sitting on Su Luo’s bed. Â
Su Luo asked irritably, “What’s your persona?”
Yun Feibai replied, “On the surface, a gentle university professor. My first hidden persona is that I have to read a book for an hour every day at two in the afternoon.”
Su Luo glanced at him, surprised, her mind racing.
Yun Feibai continued, “The second hidden persona is a severe germaphobe.  The third hidden persona is being very strict with those who misbehave.” Â
Su Luo said, “My surface persona is the Jiang Jin Group’s Daughter, the Sponsor’s child for this show.”
“My first hidden persona is that I must wear red clothing. The second is that I’m extremely fond of sweets. The third is that I’m tsundere.”
When Yun Feibai heard the first hidden persona, he already realized something.
After Su Luo finished, he chimed in, “So, the three hidden personas actually follow a pattern.” Â
Su Luo nodded, “Everyone probably has a mandatory task they must do.”
Exactly. “Must wear red” and “Must read for an hour at two PM” were clearly part of a task series.
“Then, what’s the common point for the other two tasks?” Su Luo wondered.
Yun Feibai thought for a moment and said, “I think severe germaphobia and extreme love for sweets are one set. Tsundere and being strict with misbehaving people are another set.”
Su Luo nodded, agreeing there seemed to be some connection, but they couldn’t quite figure out what it was.
“We still don’t have enough data!” she sighed. Â
Yun Feibai said, “Let’s try something to test it later. Since I’m a germaphobe, maybe someone else has OCD. We could test that.”
Su Luo smiled and nodded.
Blind guessing was so cruel.
Since the tests were aimless and random, there was no way to defend against being caught off guard. Â
Suddenly remembering something, Su Luo said, “I was the first to arrive, so ‘Ice’ and ‘Wangyin Shaonian’ probably don’t know each other.
Looks like the six of us are paired male-female teams.” Â
Yun Feibai thought and said, “So it’s very likely ‘Ice’ and ‘You Kewei’ are a team, and ‘Wangyin Shaonian’ and ‘Qiaoqiaoqiaoyue’ are a team.”
Su Luo nodded; that seemed right.
After discussing this, Yun Feibai asked, “Wasn’t that ‘Wangyin Shaonian’ the one we met in the first assessment dungeon?”
Su Luo nodded, “Yeah, I didn’t expect to meet him again—really a coincidence.” Â
Yun Feibai asked, “Did he come looking for you just now?”
Su Luo was a little surprised, “Yeah, he came before you. How did you know? Did you see him come?”
Yun Feibai shook his head slowly and said, “I didn’t see him come, but I know ‘Wangyin Shaonian’ is impatient. He wouldn’t wait until after dinner to come find you.  And I came almost exactly at mealtime, so he likely came before me.  Besides, when I arrived, you seemed a bit impatient. I guess you were about to rest after he found you, but I interrupted?” Â
‘All correct!’ Su Luo felt helpless.
Having a smart teammate good at reasoning had its downsides.
Any small slip was instantly noticed. Â
As they talked, someone knocked again.
Su Luo smiled, “Looks like my door’s going to be broken down today.” Â
She stood and opened the door.
Outside was “Ice.”
She saw Yun Feibai in Su Luo’s room but showed no surprise, just told them, “Dinner’s downstairs.” Â
Su Luo thought, it seemed “Ice” had already noticed the interaction between her and Yun Feibai and guessed they were teamed up.
She looked “Ice” over meaningfully—this person was definitely not simple.
So the earlier actions must have a reason. Â
She withdrew her gaze and nodded in thanks.
The three of them headed downstairs. Â
By then, four players were already there.
They greeted each other and sat around the dining table.
Four dishes were already set. Â
“You Kewei,” wearing an apron, carried two more dishes.
Dinner was now complete. Â
Qiaoqiaoqiaoyue asked, “You Kewei, did you make all these dishes?”
You Kewei shyly smiled and nodded, “I made them. Hope you like them.”
Qiaoqiaoqiaoyue teased with a smile, “Oh, a young man who can cook—don’t miss out if you pass by.”
Everyone laughed and joked.
After starting the meal, Su Luo raised an eyebrow in surprise.
These dishes really tasted good. Â
You Kewei, seeing everyone enjoying themselves, asked, “Are the dishes okay?”
“Ice” praised enthusiastically, “Super delicious! You’re amazing, young man!”
Her praise confirmed Su Luo’s guess—they were very likely a team.
Su Luo looked up at You Kewei and said, “They’re just okay, barely edible.”
She took another big bite of rice as Yun Feibai laughed, “Really good. You’re skilled.”
“Ice” also complimented, “Your cooking skills are really great.”
Wangyin Shaonian asked, “If your cooking is so good, why don’t you have a girlfriend yet?”
