“Mm, ah, hng.”
Laika lost himself in the depths of Iris.
The pleasure was so intense it felt as though all the rage that had once boiled within him had been transformed into sexual excitement.
Each time he thrust his member deep into her and pulled out roughly, he felt as if he were drugged, his mind growing hazy.
Whether it was the place or the situation, the walls of Iris’s womanhood clamped down on him even tighter.
It felt like his own was being tightly grasped and squeezed—if he could, he would have spent the entire day slamming into her like this.
As his hard length repeatedly rubbed against her slick, soaked inner walls, obscene, wet sounds filled the air.
Grabbing Iris by the chin, Laika turned her face and pressed his lips to hers.
His thick tongue rampaged through her delicate mouth, and at the same time, his manhood pounded her unceasingly.
Thoroughly aroused, Iris forgot herself and responded passionately to Laika’s kiss.
Their tongues writhed and tangled like mating snakes, and the overflowing saliva from their fierce kiss dripped down her chin.
Suddenly, his heavy rod slammed all the way to her deepest part with a dull thud, and a beast-like moan slipped from between Laika’s lips.
“Kh…!”
“Ah, aaah!”
Iris arched her neck and let out a thin gasp as she climaxed.
A moment later, a warm sensation spread below where their bodies were joined.
His semen quickly filled her insides and began to leak from the point of their union, dripping down below.
Seeing a message appear, Iris felt a mixture of joy and bitterness.
To steal the skill of the very Laika she’d just slept with before her body had even cooled felt like she was doing something terrible.
But it had to be done. If not, she would be in trouble herself.
Unlike before, Laika did not ask—he simply released inside her.
Even though their bodies were still entwined, their relationship had changed completely.
Now they were no longer just a man and a woman, but a Hero and a Villain locked in battle.
As Laika roughly pulled out, the cloudy liquid mixture of semen and her own juices trickled down the inside of her thigh.
“Hoo.”
The heated moment passed, and a heavy silence settled between them.
Laika rummaged through his suit pocket, took out a handkerchief, cleaned himself up, and tossed it at Iris.
The gesture meant she should clean herself up. Biting her lip, Iris wiped her soiled body.
In that moment, she felt as if she had traded her body with a Villain for something, a filthy sensation.
Laika tidied his disheveled clothes and put his mask back on, which he had stuck in his suit pocket, before speaking.
“I want my ring back.”
“The ring? This is…”
Iris glanced around, clutching the hand wearing the ring with her other hand.
She had done all she needed to—now it was time to escape.
The <Beastification> skill had been successfully stolen.
To think she seduced someone just to steal a skill—was Laika the Villain, or was she?
The question crossed her mind for an instant, but it was all for the peace of Gyodam City.
After ending her hesitation, she activated <Clone>.
Laika tilted his head, reaching out for the ring. But then he saw Iris split into two and his eyes widened.
The two Irises each ran off in opposite directions.
Even Laika, slow on the uptake as he sometimes was, could not miss the implication: Iris had stolen his own skill, <Clone>.
The heat of their coupling instantly went cold, and a new kind of fury washed over him.
Filled with intense anger, he chased after one of them.
He couldn’t tell which was the real Iris and which was the Clone, but he couldn’t just let her escape.
Gritting his teeth as he chased the fleeing figure—real or Clone—Iris climbed up to the building’s ledge.
She seemed ready to escape using a jumping skill. Laika, patience at its end, let out a deep, menacing growl.
“You bitch, I’ll kill you!”
Iris’s body froze atop the rooftop railing.
Laika had used the <Lion’s Roar> skill, plunging Iris into terror.
Her strength left her body and she began to tremble violently.
‘What is this? Ah, is this the <Lion’s Roar> skill I saw in the State Window? I should’ve stolen this skill instead of <Beastification>.’
Too late for regrets. Iris collapsed to the ground without realizing it, gasping for air.
For some reason, <Smash the Skull> did not activate.
She knew it triggered randomly, but for it to fail at such a moment was maddening.
At least she was caught before she actually made it onto the ledge—had she been hit with <Lion’s Roar> mid-jump, she would’ve fallen right off.
The very thought made her shudder.
“Hoo, you’re quite a handful. Almost terrifying. Was once not enough for you, you tried to screw me over twice?”
Seeing Iris slumped over, Laika roughly loosened his tie and strode over.
A quick glance behind revealed her Clone fading away. The one he had chased was indeed the real Iris.
In any case, once <Lion’s Roar> was used, the Clone would vanish and only Iris would remain—so it didn’t matter which way she ran.
Standing in front of the collapsed Iris, he tapped his foot.
His rage was so overwhelming that all memories of their recent union were wiped clean, replaced by the urge to finish Iris off.
Iris was, in many ways, a dangerous Hero. Judging from her actions, she wasn’t just some rookie driven by a sense of justice who would disappear after handling minor incidents.
No, he sensed she would become a great threat not only to himself, but also to the J Corporation he was destined to inherit.
Crouching, he flicked her soft cheek with his finger. The light gesture contrasted sharply with the murderous expression on his face.
Her plan to escape using the <Clone> skill had ended in utter failure.
Overcome with fear, Iris kept her head down, unable to meet Laika’s eyes.
At that moment, Laika grabbed her hand and roughly pulled her up.
Spinning her to face the railing, he forcefully pulled off the ring from her finger.
“Ugh!”
“Hmm…”
Seeing that the ring did not react to his touch, he realized it hadn’t accepted him as its master.
No, that wasn’t right—there was no way Iris, an Awakening-type Hero, would wear a ring just for decoration.
Especially one that was stolen, of all things.
The only reason to wear it was that it had some use.
The fact that she was still wearing it meant the Ring of the Goddess had accepted her.
The moment the ring was removed, Iris awakened the skill <Clone>, which she had previously lacked—proof enough.
He already knew the answer, but he wanted to hear the whole truth from Iris’s own lips.
Twisting her arm behind her back, Laika whispered in a low, husky voice.
“Did you get an additional awakening from this ring? <Clone>, that’s my skill.”
“…I’m sorry.”
Iris shook her head, unable to answer Laika’s question and apologized.
It was true that she gained an additional awakening, but she couldn’t admit it—if she did, she feared Laika would kill her.
He probably already knew, but denial was her only chance at survival.
Veins bulged on Laika’s thick neck. Raising an eyebrow, he backed Iris against the railing, his breaths coming rough and heavy.
Then, in that deep, menacing tone, he spoke again. He was casting <Lion’s Roar> once more.
“Not going to talk? If your wish is to die, I can grant it.”
Chills ran up Iris’s back. The terror of <Lion’s Roar> gripped her, but an even more ominous feeling gnawed at her.
The fear that she might actually die wrapped tightly around her whole body.
As Iris tried to lift her trembling head to make an excuse, Laika shouted in a hoarse voice.
“Uwaaah! What the hell is this? Why isn’t <Beastification> working? Iris, what did you do to me?”
For the first time, his usually composed face turned crimson with rage.
He had failed to activate <Beastification>.
Unlike previous futile attempts, this was the second time he had lost a skill—so he instantly realized something was wrong.
Iris, this sly Hero feigning innocence, had stolen his skill yet again.
“N-no, that’s not…!”
Iris’s body trembled even more violently than when Laika had first used <Lion’s Roar>.
She struggled, trying to wrench her hand from his grip, denying his accusations.
But wasn’t a strong denial just another kind of confession? Laika was now certain.
‘She must have a skill that steals abilities. I was going to coax her into obedience after getting the ring back, but she’s far too dangerous. I can’t let her live.’
