[City of Wrath, Floor 13 Opened]
Inside the golden nest, the Three-Headed Goblin King was busy packing gold coins, and all three heads paused at the sight of the message.
One of them couldn’t help but say happily, “Lies, you can finally change classes!”
“A job-change dungeon will be appearing soon, huh.”
Another Goblin King, missing half an ear, chimed in.
The middle head, focused solely on packing coins, nodded, “Once we finish packing the money, we head to the Dungeon Hall.”
[West Coast Flower Team Message]
[Lorraine: Sheesh… did you guys hear that? These Three-Headed Goblin Kings seem to be chatting…]
[Hepburn: Come to think of it, did goblins always know how to talk?]
[Christina: Maybe because they’re Goblin Kings… but why are they packing gold coins? Hey, isn’t there a golden goblin in that corner? Looks like it’s sleeping…]
[Molly: I’m just saying… is there a chance… they’re stealing money…]
“Lies… those five people outside seem to be staring at us nonstop…”
“Huh, there are people out there? Liewata, your perception is amazing…”
“Lili Ya, once your level is up, you’ll be able to sense them too. Lies, are we still ignoring them?”
“As long as they don’t wake the Golden Goblin, we don’t need to bother with those five idiots. Alright, we’re done packing, let’s go.”
[Lorraine: Quick, hide! They’re coming out!!]
[Christina: Whoa! They’re so tall! A five-foot-three goblin! Is the one with the missing ear like five-foot-seven?!]
[Molly: Um… I’m just saying, is there a chance… the “five idiots” they mentioned, are actually…]
[Hepburn: Shh! Here they come!]
[Rebecca: Uh… this is the Team Channel, so there’s no need to shush…]
[Lorraine: Ah… old habit…]
“Uh… Lies… shouldn’t we explain things to them? It seems we’ve been misunderstood again…”
Lili Ya spoke up weakly, a small money pouch strapped to her back, her eyes quietly sweeping over the five heads poking out of the grass.
“No need. As long as they’re happy.”
If they were people she knew, Lies would definitely tell them some goblin basics, so they could stay far away in the future.
But they weren’t close, so she didn’t bother.
Liewata suddenly remembered something and asked curiously, “Hey, where’s Yadana? I haven’t seen her since we started packing the coins.”
Just as she said that, Liewata spotted a giant thumbs-up sign.
The sign was formed from condensed water, floating up from behind a clump of grass, giving a little nod in their direction, then pointing its thumb downward, as if to say, “I’m down here.”
The five heads in the grass jolted in shock.
The thumb was right behind them.
They instinctively turned to look, and beneath the thumb lay a lump of purple Magic Beast.
It looked like a child, but its limbs were eerily twisted, body facing up, limbs facing down, head turned completely around, tongue sticking out as it suddenly let out a bizarre cackling sound right at the five girls’ rears.
“Waaah!!”
The five heads shot three yards into the air and bolted off in a frenzy.
“Wait… we actually…”
Liewata reached out a hand to explain, but seeing that the others had already run far off, she had to stop.
Turning her head, she saw Li Si already starting to strip off her clothes, and she suddenly felt reluctant.
This outfit carried Li Si’s scent.
She could even feel the chest area was especially roomy—a looseness clearly stretched open by Li Si’s bust.
Wearing it felt like she could personally experience Li Si’s embrace.
“Is Liewata planning to head back to the city wearing that?”
Lili Ya said with a smile.
Liewata let out a sigh, taking off the clothes and wanting to keep them close to her body, but seeing Lili Ya reaching out to help, she had no choice but to hand them over.
Before letting go, she still took one lingering sniff of the scent at the chest.
That gesture instantly drew a wary look from Lili Ya, and Li Si wore an expression of astonishment.
Not even pretending anymore.
Straight-up degenerate.
Still, approval was easy to farm.
Li Si quickly rattled off an explanation about how Golden Goblins build nests multiple times, scraped together 5% approval, and used that approval to try and suppress this clearly twisted affection.
“Hey! Finally found you guys! Where’s the Goblin King?!”
“Is it around here?! We came because we saw the distress call on the Public Channel!”
“Is it over there?! Quick! After it!”
A string of voices sounded from behind.
Li Si glanced at the Public Channel, utterly speechless.
These five noble ladies were calling for help while still curious enough to stalk them.
Wasn’t that just asking for death?
“Uh… where’s the Goblin King?”
A puzzled voice came from behind.
Li Si had no intention of explaining, but Lili Ya, as the team leader, patiently stepped forward to clarify.
Those adventurers who had caught wind of treasure and come to snatch it all felt speechless upon hearing it was a disguise.
Some didn’t believe it and continued searching the area.
But there were also those who were convinced.
A Level 14 adventurer, looking at the silver-haired Li Si and then at the pink-haired Lili Ya, suddenly remarked to his teammates, “Have you guys ever heard of the Goblin King of Border Town…”
“Huh, Border Town has a Goblin King too?”
“Sheesh~ I think I’ve heard that legend. They say the Goblin King there is over fifty feet tall and used to chase down peeing novice adventurers with its blade…”
“Uh… which drunk did you hear that from…? Listen, that legend is actually just a disguise…”
“…..”
“Ah, it seems we’ve caused another misunderstanding…”
Lili Ya grabbed at her hair, a little embarrassed.
Li Si didn’t really care, offering a casual consolation, “At least this time, no one’s going to come specifically hunting for us. The adventurers here are all busy chasing profit.”
Lili Ya looked around at the adventuring parties busy searching and nodded in agreement.
After finally breaking free of the crowd, they returned to the Dungeon Entrance, only to run into those five big idiots again.
The five big idiots were vividly describing the Goblin King’s appearance to the Bladesman at the entrance, even mentioning some lump of purple monster.
“Uh… it looks just like this kid! A purple robe… purple hair…”
One of the red-haired noble ladies, spotting Yadana lying on the backpack, spoke up excitedly, hoping someone would believe what she was saying.
“Uh…”
The Bladesman glanced at the guild message.
[Wolf Pack Adventure Group]
[Homan: Duke, stop checking. Those are just five idiots. There’s no Goblin King at all. It’s a party of adventurers disguised as goblins. Did they also mention something about silver hair, pink hair, purple hair? I know a brother from Border Town, and I’m positive there’s no Goblin King!]
Duke watched the three figures passing by in front of him, then looked at the purple-haired child.
Suddenly, the five noble ladies seemed to realize something, and the air went silent.
Yadana stuck out her tongue, her twisted limbs crawling up the backpack to the top of Lili Ya’s head, then with a mighty leap, she hopped onto Liewata’s magical hat, then with another mighty leap, she went for Li Si—and was sent flying into the night sky by a single high kick from Li Si.
Leading the team back to Soronwell without any delay, Li Si headed straight for East Street, where the Guild Hall was located.
Just as she reached the street corner, a figure suddenly came flying at her.
“Li Si, I missed you so much!”
Li Si initially wanted to block it, but sensing the figure’s state, seeing a pair of cat ears drooping weakly, she lost focus for a moment and instinctively opened her arms to catch her.
The figure pressed tightly into her chest, both of their bosoms compressed into each other’s bodies by the sheer force of the impact.
