“Why is this happening?!”
Luo You collapsed to his knees, clutching his head, his wails echoing as he pressed his face to the cold floor.
For seven years, he hadn’t touched a single divine particle.
They should’ve gone dormant, faded into silence.
So why—why—were they suddenly stirring again?
It was as if he’d been religiously abstinent for years, steering clear of any… indulgences, only to wake up one morning inexplicably pregnant!
Who in the world had done this to him last night?
“Uh… Dad? Maybe… get up first? We can talk this out. Whatever the problem is, we’ll figure it out together, as father and daughter.”
Luo You froze, lifting his head.
His precious daughter, Luo Zining, was patting his shoulder, her voice carrying the calm rationality of a mediator.
He could hardly believe such composed words came from her mouth.
What’s this?
The moment I turn into a woman, your attitude shifts this much?
He’d half-expected her to whip out her phone, snap a picture for her socials, and mock him mercilessly.
But there was something else in her tone—a faint trace of guilt.
Or maybe that was just his imagination.
“Zining, right now, you…”
Luo You’s voice faltered as he glanced down.
A hand—her hand—was reaching toward his thigh.
He looked up, wide-eyed, as his dear daughter did something utterly unspeakable.
“It’s gone! It’s really gone!”
Zining’s composure shattered.
She stumbled back, collapsing onto the floor in a heap.
“You just reached in without hesitation! What if it was still there?”
Luo You’s face flushed as he adjusted his pants, feeling thoroughly violated.
“That’s not the point! Dad, you’re like this now, you—”
“Hold it!”
Luo You cut her off sharply.
“Don’t call me Dad anymore. I need a new identity.”
The name Elera was too dangerous, hunted by both the Alien Organization and the Magic Alliance—a pariah on both sides.
True, he’d always masked his appearance in the past, so few knew what he looked like as a woman.
But caution demanded a new persona.
For now, Luo You would vanish, replaced by someone else entirely.
“From this moment on, I’m your dad’s girlfriend. My name… is Luo You.”
“What? You? Isn’t that a bit… slapdash?”
Zining protested.
“It’s fine. I happen to have a perfect fake identity ready.”
Back when he was plotting his escape from the organization, Luo You had prepared for this very scenario.
While he still held some sway, he’d secured dual-gender identity documents—one for his current self, and another for a woman named Luo You.
Crafted years ago, this alias was airtight, unlikely to raise suspicion even under scrutiny.
“…Fine,” Zining relented, her voice strained.
She seemed calm on the surface, but inside, she was trembling.
This is bad.
If the Magic Alliance finds out, my shot at a council seat is gone.
And the punishment… At seventeen, fear came naturally when mistakes loomed large.
“Anyway,” Luo You said breezily, spreading his hands, “think of the old Luo You as off on a world tour. Now, I, Luo You, am here to take care of you.”
He opened his arms wide, a grin breaking across his face.
“Congratulations, Zining! You always wanted a mom, didn’t you? Well, now you’ve got one!”
“How are you so calm about this?!”
Zining half-shrieked, teetering on the edge of a breakdown.
Her father had turned into a woman, bidding farewell to his chiseled muscles, and yet here he was, acting like it was just another day.
“Grown-ups, kiddo,” Luo You said with a shrug.
“We’ve seen enough storms to take things in stride.”
“No adult is this chill about something like this!”
Luo You bounced back quickly.
It wasn’t his first day as a woman, after all.
The key was to keep things relaxed, stick to his usual rhythm.
Panicking would only draw unwanted attention.
“Men’s clothes look weird on me now,” he mused.
“Zining, I’m borrowing your wardrobe.”
Ignoring her protests, he strolled into her room.
“Dad?!”
“Relax, I’m not touching your underwear—that’s your private stash. Just pick me out something suitable.”
Zining smirked, a glint of mischief in her eyes.
“Heh, Dad, you don’t get it. Going without a bra as a girl is tough—”
“No need,” Luo You interrupted.
“Your size doesn’t fit me. It’d be uncomfortable either way, so why bother?”
Zining’s jaw dropped, her retort dying in her throat.
She glanced at Luo You’s chest—modest, perhaps, but leagues ahead of her own nearly flat figure.
Then her eyes drifted to his height, barely over five feet, looking for all the world like a middle schooler.
The harsh reality hit her like a brick.
Zining’s eyes dulled, her movements robotic as she rummaged for clothes that might fit.
“Oh, right,” Luo You added casually.
“Find something that pairs well with stockings. You know, whatever works.”
“Stockings?”
Zining’s lifeless gaze flickered.
“Dad, you just turned into a girl. Stockings for your first outfit? That’s way too advanced! Let me pick something simpler.”
“No worries. Just grab them.”
It wasn’t just a whim.
Luo You had a history with stockings—black, white, thigh-highs, garters, you name it.
The sensation of soft fabric brushing against his inner thighs?
Pure bliss.
The first time he’d tried them, he was hooked.
“All set,” Zining muttered, handing over a skirt and other pieces.
“Your first time in a skirt, right? Let me help—wait, what?!”
Luo You had already slipped into the outfit with startling efficiency, leaving only a pair of glossy white thigh-highs unworn.
Zining turned to close the wardrobe, saying, “Hold on, let me help with those. Stockings are delicate, and you don’t want to tear—”
“What was that?”
Luo You asked, lifting his left leg, already clad in a perfectly fitted stocking.
The soft pink of his foot peeked through the sheer fabric, impossibly eye-catching.
“…Nothing,” Zining mumbled, deflated.
“Weirdo,” Luo You teased, shaking his head.
You’re the weird one!
Zining thought, her face a mask of frustration.
“I’m heading out to handle some things,” Luo You announced, now fully dressed.
“Zining, get to school—you’re gonna be late!”
In her new outfit, Luo You was unrecognizable.
Gone was the homebody dad, replaced by a vibrant, confident young woman.
The white-and-blue dress hugged her slender curves, and though she wasn’t tall, the thigh-high stockings accentuated her graceful legs.
The sliver of pale skin between the stockings and the dress’s hem—what they called the absolute territory—was almost daringly provocative, especially where the fabric clung to her soft thighs, giving her a subtly plush look that begged to be pinched.
Unable to find shoes that fit, Luo You grabbed a pair of slippers, tucked her phone into her pocket, and headed out.
…
Moments later, Zining sank to her knees at the doorstep, pounding the floor with both fists, her anguished cry splitting the air.
“Why?! How are you so good at wearing women’s clothes?!”
It wasn’t just the clothes.
The way Luo You had slipped into those stockings—every movement delicate, elegant, and radiating an almost sensual charm—made Zining feel like she was the fake girl here.
“Something’s seriously wrong!”
Her mind spiraled.
Is Dad secretly into cross-dressing?
Has he been sneaking off to… hook up with guys in stockings?
The mental image made her slap her hands over her eyes, tears streaming from the sheer horror.
No way.
That can’t be it.
Zining slumped to the floor, hugging her knees, staring blankly at the ceiling.
“My dad’s my mom now. What am I supposed to do? Just… end me.”
Her thoughts drifted back to Luo You in those white stockings, the way her feet looked so distractingly perfect.
“After lunch… I’m getting a tub of ice cream,” she muttered.
Ding-dong! Ding-dong! Ding-dong!
Zining’s phone buzzed.
“The Magic Alliance? Oh no, have they already found out?!”
Heart racing, she answered the call.
“Emergency mission, Little Red. Transform and get to the war room in Huahai City, now!”
“Understood,” she replied, her voice steady despite the dread pooling in her gut.
The call was brief—too brief.
Short calls meant serious trouble.
Zining opened the door, confirming Luo You was gone, then raised her left hand to touch the star-shaped ring on her right pinky.
“Transform!”
A blinding white light erupted, so intense it could’ve powered up a certain two-word game next door.
A hazy door materialized in the air, and when it swung open, a dazzling magical girl stepped through.
Gone was the rebellious daughter.
Zining’s medium-length beige hair now flowed in golden waves down to her waist, her height slightly shorter.
Her magical outfit screamed Little Red Riding Hood—vibrant red from head to toe, complete with a hooded cape adorned with two tiny, twitching antennae.
She was the epitome of cute.
“Gotta hurry. They sounded urgent.”
Five minutes later, Zining arrived at the war room, perched atop a skyscraper in Huahai City, a secret hub for magical girls.
“I’m here!”
The room was packed.
All six of the city’s magical girls were present, including two veterans recently transferred from another city: Yueyuezi and Zhou Xi.
Zhou Xi was an anomaly—her true identity as a magical girl was public knowledge, making her a bit of an outlier.
“So, you’re the rookie everyone’s talking about,” Zhou Xi said, extending a hand in her vibrant magical attire.
“Word is, you’re the one who brought back the divine particle?”
“Uh… yeah, that was me,” Zining admitted, scratching her head.
“Thank you,” Zhou Xi said, her voice carrying the weight of a long-held burden lifted.
“You’ve done us magical girls proud.”
“Aw, that’s a bit much,” Zining said, waving it off modestly.
“No, it’s not.” Zhou Xi’s tone grew serious.
“I once faced the Aurora Witch head-on. The gap between us… it was crushing. Her power, tied to the divine particle, is no small thing. That particle could shift the entire strategic landscape. You need to understand how monumental your contribution is.”
Zining’s heart sank.
That oh-so-important particle… and I used it to turn my dad into a bombshell mom.
If this got out…
Wait a second.
Her eyes widened.
Zhou Xi fought the Aurora Witch?
Does that mean she’s been…
“Quiet, everyone!”
Zhao Xin, the Magic Alliance’s local commander and Zining’s recent conversation partner at school, clapped her hands for attention.
“Since we’re all here, I’ll keep this brief. I just met with the Alien Organization’s branch leader. We have intel: a near-king-level temporal beast is lurking in our city. We need to prepare.”
