Magic Feather Fantasy
Inside the bathroom of Su Nian’s room.
Warm water sprayed onto the girl’s fair, soft skin, creating swirls of mist.
Though her sweat-drenched body wasn’t dirty, the “pleasurable moments” task had left her damp and sticky, necessitating a thorough wash.
She closed her eyes, tilting her head back slightly, letting the water cascade over her face and neck, tracing the elegant curves of her swan- like figure.
Finally, after steeling herself, she blushed deeply and began to wash… her most private areas.

As Su Nian showered, she gazed at the translucent system text hovering before her eyes, knowing she was about to face a crucial choice.
The choice of an S-rank spell.
Should she pick the offensive [Phantom Flame Water Spirit Burst] or the defensive [Abyssal Flame Barrier]?
If she had enough humiliation points, she’d buy both-but for now, she could only choose one.
After careful consideration, Su Nian made her decision and spoke firmly.
“Purchase the S-rank spell [Abyssal Flame Barrier]!”
Since she was heading to Shadowmoon Manor, and the other party’s intentions were unclear, prioritizing defense was the safer bet.
It would allow her to handle more scenarios.
After all, a mage’s body was relatively fragile.
With [Abyssal Flame Barrier], she’d be secure.
“Ding! Successfully purchased S-rank spell [Abyssal Flame Barrier].”
“Ding! Host’s combat level has changed. Please check.”

In an instant, a surge of immense power coursed through her body-Su Nian had ascended to the realm of an Archmage!
Though among the renowned Archmages, she was the weakest, with only the newly acquired [Abyssal Flame Barrier] as her sole formidable spell…
She was still impressive!
How many beings out there could surpass an Archmage these days?
If she encountered that damned horned demon again, she could just activate [Abyssal Flame Barrier] and chase it down!
The dangers of combat were now manageable.
However, tonight’s visit to Shadowmoon Manor might not necessarily be a battle-it could truly be a “collaboration,” as the letter suggested.
Perhaps she could gather intel on the horned demon, or negotiate with investors and advertisers as a magical girl idol.
But if it really was about negotiations…
She had no experience in that.
Would they take advantage of her youth, assuming she didn’t understand industry rules?
So…
Tonight, she should dress more maturely!
Compared to the innocent, untested image of a young idol, a poised and alluring demeanor would better convey her professionalism and gravitas during negotiations.
Besides, as a mage now equipped with the S-rank defensive spell [Abyssal Flame Barrier], she wouldn’t even need to move in a fight.
Head-on battle?
Bring it on!
After carefully drying herself, Su Nian stepped into the walk-in closet connected to her bedroom.
Inside, rows of dresses, accessories, jewelry, and shoes awaited her selection.
As the face of Magic Feather Fantasy, she had an extensive wardrobe and even the privilege of purchasing clothes with company funds.
Hmm…
Let’s try this one.
“Wow, this is way too revealing. No, no, absolutely not.”
What about this one?
Is it still not mature enough?
And these shoes?
They seem to pair well with the dress.
The entire afternoon passed.
Su Nian seemed bewitched, trying on all sorts of little dresses and shoes.
According to her, it was all just for work.
Yes, work!
It definitely wasn’t because she liked wearing these dresses and high heels.
Evening arrived.
Su Nian officially set off for Shadowmoon Manor.
Before leaving, she left a contingency plan—a letter in her room.
If she hadn’t returned by morning, the people of Magic Feather Fantasy could take the letter and seek help from Dean Sains of the Magic Academy.
The carriage ride took over an hour to reach Shadowmoon Manor.
So far!
The carriage slowly came to a stop before the grand gates of the manor.
Su Nian took a deep breath, suppressing the tension and unease in her heart as she peered through the window at the mysterious estate before her.
Though called a manor, Shadowmoon Manor resembled more of a Western-style castle from Su Nian’s imagination.
The main structure was a Gothic-style castle, its windows glowing with light that pierced the surrounding darkness, illuminating the flower-filled grounds.
Under the moonlight, Shadowmoon Manor stood majestic and enigmatic, yet there was an undeniable aura of danger lingering in the air.
The next moment.
Su Nian stepped out of the carriage, her steps light and graceful as she walked along the path leading to the manor.
Her golden hair fluttered in the breeze, appearing especially soft and radiant under the glow of the moon and streetlights.
She wore the elegant black evening dress she had carefully selected that afternoon, paired with black stockings and dark red high heels, transforming her usual pure and understated demeanor into something alluring and sophisticated.
Hanging delicately against her fair, smooth chest was a small, exquisite badge identifying her as a Magic Academy instructor, replacing what would have been a necklace.
This was the image she had crafted mature and professional.
Though she wasn’t sure how others would perceive it.

Su Nian slowly approached the manor’s gates.
The wrought-iron filigree beside the entrance looked exquisitely detailed under the moonlight, yet carried a cold, austere presence.
The brass knocker on the door bore the marks of time, slightly tarnished but still gleaming with an antique luster.
She reached out and gently rapped the knocker.
A moment later, the door creaked open, revealing a servant clad in a long black robe.
His face was hidden in shadow, his expression indiscernible, but his voice was low and raspy as he spoke:
“Miss Su Nian, the master has been expecting you. Please, follow me.”
The servant stepped slightly aside, gesturing for her to enter.
Su Nian nodded, her eyes reflecting both wariness and resolve.
Lifting the hem of her dress, she carefully stepped over the threshold and into the manor.
As she walked, her gaze continuously scanned her surroundings.
The path through the manor was lined with all manner of strange and exotic flowers, their petals blooming in eerie hues under the moonlight-some as crimson as blood, others as deep as a dreamy blue.
Their faint fragrance hung in the air, yet carried an inexplicable sense of oppression.
The low hum of insects occasionally drifted from the grass, their sounds piercingly sharp in the silent night.
The estate was vast, and the main building, which had seemed imposing from a distance, appeared even more colossal up close.
Upon entering the extravagantly luxurious hall of the main building, Su Nian immediately spotted a tall figure standing in the distance with his back turned to her.
The man was exceptionally tall and upright, dressed in an ornate black-purple robe embroidered with golden threads that shimmered brilliantly under the light.
For some reason, she felt an inexplicable mix of familiarity and danger emanating from him.
Was he an enemy?
“Are you Mr. Mo Yuan?” Su Nian asked warily, simultaneously channeling her inner magic in preparation for a potential battle.
The next moment, the towering figure turned around and removed his mask.
When Su Nian saw his face clearly, her eyes widened instantly, filled with shock and fury.
The flames of anger in her heart flared up violently.
“It’s… you!” Su Nian hissed, her sweet, ethereal voice trembling with rage.
“Ding! Anger absorbed. Provocation Points +116.”
Ah yes, the familiar feeling was back!
