Chapter 47: Offering Tea to the Big Shot

Lu Dongnuan found that someone had already posted screenshots of their meal in the group, followed by a long string of question marks.

The person who had claimed they would organize the Management Group had suddenly disappeared for some reason.

The leaderless crowd that had originally agreed with the idea eventually let the matter drop.

She believed that Big Shot Lin might have used his far-reaching influence to fly into a rage for his beauty. 

On a dark and windy night with miserable rain, he must have quietly infiltrated the enemy’s ranks and swiftly taken that person out.

This made her feel a bit happy.

Lin Mo nodded, “Yeah.”

Lu Dongnuan leaned in even closer.

“Is your sister doing well now?”

“She will be fine as long as you stop thinking about her.”

She still smiled, not bothered at all. 

“Then what if I… only think about you?”

Lin Mo finally raised his eyes to meet hers.

She gently pulled her coat down a bit, revealing the collar of the sweater and shirt she was wearing underneath. 

Her gaze was clear and focused.

“Looking at me like this, don’t you think I look a little better?”

Lin Mo’s lip twitched.

“I have her number. Do you want me to call and ask her?”

“Don’t press yourself against me. Your virus will infect me.”

Lu Dongnuan sat back.

Their relationship had been quite good over the past few days, no longer at the level of cold sarcasm and tense hostility as before.

He was considered a figure with some status in the Ruerke City underworld.

He lit a cigarette, looked back at his subordinates who were so hungry they were about to eat the floor, and took a deep breath.

This gang of theirs — no, this team.

Their team was full of capable people. 

Logically, this apocalypse should have been a world where they thrived and lived well.
