Chapter 44: High-level magic?

Facing Ximon’s furious roar, Miss Keti only frowned slightly, somewhat affected by that insulting name.  

However, after a moment, she merely let out a disdainful cold laugh. 

Such impotent rage from a brat was not enough to anger her—it only made her find it somewhat amusing.  

Ah, but it seemed that last punch was a little too restrained.

Pale blue Thunder Attribute electricity slowly wrapped around his arm, activating every ion in his body!  

Suddenly, Ximon lifted his head sharply. 

Above the tavern’s ceiling, one magic circle after another appeared. 

The crackling thunderlight began to snap and spark. 

Miss Keti frowned slightly—this situation was somewhat unexpected.  

“What is that…so many Magic Circles?!”  

“Oh my god, is he trying to blow up this entire tavern?!”

Seeing the panic and fear, Ximon grinned with savage pride. 

He raised his right hand, and the electricity began condensing in his palm, then he swung down fiercely!  

“Magic Thunder Arrow Rain!”  

In an instant, the crackling electricity roared above the ceiling, condensing into a dazzling white light. 

Countless magical beams carrying electric currents bombarded Miss Keti relentlessly—!

Accompanied by Sister Xiasha’s terrified shout, the tavern turned into utter chaos. 

Dust rose from the ground under the bombardment, and Miss Keti’s figure disappeared into the smoke. 

Yet even so, Ximon had no intention of stopping.

No one could withstand it head-on or escape!

Thinking this, Ximon bit his lip in frustration, then squinted and sneered irritably: “How’s my strength? Teacher, how does it feel? Hahaha…I bet you’re already barely holding on, huh?”

“Ha~ That’s only natural. After all…you’re facing a genius with the rare B-level Magic Talent and a strong family background—me! Humph…I’ll make sure you die painfully!”

With that, he raised his hand again. 

The electricity in his palm flickered continuously, and the Magic Circles he’d been preparing quickly filled with energy once more, ready to strike.  

As if deliberately showing off, Ximon reveled in clenching his right fist, then excitedly taunted: “Look closely, this is a high-level AoE Magic—the Elven Secret Arts: Magic Arrow Rain! My father spent countless resources to trade with the noble Elf Tribe for this prestigious Magic!” 

“We then improved it by combining it with our family’s Thunder Attribute Magic to create the perfect Magic Thunder Arrow Rain! Hahaha!”

“To wield this Magic, you need at least a B-level Magic Talent like mine! A worthless D-Rank trash like you will never cast it in a lifetime! Let me use this to end your life completely!”  

With a wild swing, the Magic Circles on the ceiling surged into full operation once more, unleashing another devastating series of bombardments—!

Watching the countless thunder magic bolts draw closer, Miss Keti only smiled faintly…  

Magic Arrow Rain, huh? 

Quite a familiar trick. 

Elf Tribe magic, you say? 

That makes sense.  

After all, a green-haired Elf Mage lady in her team had been opening with this move for two or three years!  

“Magic Potion of Transformation, Rubber Wall!”  

With the girl’s shout, a shattered Potion bottle on the ground instantly burst out a glob of black, spherical sticky liquid, shielding her!  

In an instant, all the electricity struck this rubbery sticky mass, and the energy was rapidly dissipated, instead being absorbed into the viscous sphere, which quickly expanded to cover a wider area!  

Ximon stared in disbelief at the scene before him, still not reacting, when Miss Keti launched another move!  

“Magic Potion of Attraction, Magnetic Condensation!”  

“Magic Potion of Stickiness, Rubber Forest!”  

“Magic Potion of Strength, Million Flame Burst Fist!”  

With rapid chanting, the first two potions were thrown onto the summoned Rubber Wall. 

The black sticky mass extended two tendrils, then grabbed Ximon tightly!  

The blond young master panicked and hurriedly tried to use magic to escape, but…the next moment, he realized his arms were firmly stuck to the sticky liquid. 

Struggling tore at his skin painfully!

Ximon shouted wildly in panic, but he was already dragged before Miss Keti.  

The silver-haired beauty smiled and tilted her head at him, then gulped down the strength potion. 

Immediately, she swung her blazing right fist!
