Chapter 43: Cats Grew on Her

Early morning, An Yu walked to school with slightly messy blue-white long hair.

Today’s breakfast was rice balls.

An Yu yawned, looking like she hadn’t woken up fully.

An Yu picked up the cat with both hands, stood up, and held it in front of her.

The cat was stretched long but didn’t struggle. 

It just stared at An Yu, seeming to really like her.

“Is this how it is… meow?”

An Yu tilted her head, trying to imitate the cat’s sound.

“Meow!”

“Meow meow meow!”

“I see… meow.”

One person and one cat began meowing back and forth. 

Although An Yu didn’t understand a word, it didn’t stop her from conversing with the cat.

After rubbing the cat in her hands, An Yu put it back on the ground. 

She still had to go to school and couldn’t play with the cat forever.

The cat lay down on the ground and rolled over to show its belly, as if inviting An Yu to rub it.

An Yu shook her head. 

If she didn’t leave now, she’d be late for school.

“Let’s play again next time, meow.”

With that, An Yu turned and left without looking back.

Seeing An Yu leave, the cat looked a little disappointed but didn’t follow because An Yu hadn’t allowed it.

It stood up again and quickly darted into an alley, disappearing.

There, several cats were gathered, seemingly waiting for it.

That cat raised its proud head, looking very smug, as if showing off something.
