Chapter 4: No Longer Pure

The dawn broke with a fierce golden light, tearing through the clouds and spilling into the room, dusting everything in a delicate shimmer of gold.

Pink gauze curtains swayed gently in the breeze, and the air was thick with a cloying sweetness that hung like a veil.

On the bed, Mu Xi stirred, her eyes fluttering open to a sea of pink.

A wave of exhaustion washed over her, heavy and unrelenting.

Memories of the night before surged like a tide, relentless and vivid.

Once again, she had been roused from sleep by Ye Lan’s teasing—or rather, toyed awake by her relentless whims.

Ye Lan lounged at the foot of the bed, her slender fingers idly tracing Mu Xi’s toes, as if they were delicate trinkets crafted for her amusement.

Mu Xi’s feet were small and dainty, her toes round and charming, like glistening grapes catching the sunlight’s seductive gleam.

“What… what are you doing?”

Mu Xi shivered, swallowing hard, her voice trembling with unease.

Ye Lan lifted her gaze, a playful smirk curling her lips.

“Your toes are adorable. Last night, I almost couldn’t resist slicing them off with a fine thread.”

Mu Xi’s heart clenched, a chill racing from her soles to the crown of her head.

Forcing a weak smile, she stammered, “N-no… I won’t try to escape again.”

Ye Lan let out a soft hum, her fingers gliding from Mu Xi’s ankle upward, tracing the delicate curve of her calf to the tender skin at the top of her thigh.

“Really? This fragile little body of yours, skin as soft as tofu, smelling so sweet and feeling so plush… it makes me want to devour you whole.”

A wave of revulsion swept through Mu Xi.

She shook her head frantically.

“I… I’m not tasty. Not sweet at all.”

Ye Lan paused, sitting up to tower over Mu Xi, her eyes glinting with mischief.

“I’m teasing. Get up.”

Relief flooded Mu Xi like a released breath.

She scrambled to sit, feet pressed together, hands resting primly on her knees, like an obedient schoolgirl.

Ye Lan slid off the bed and sauntered toward the bathroom, pausing at the door to glance back.

“Come on. We’re washing up together.”

Mu Xi hesitated, then followed with reluctant steps.

In the bathroom, steam curled in the air, and Ye Lan stood at the sink, toothbrush and paste in hand.

She turned, offering the toothbrush to Mu Xi.

“I’ll do it myself,” Mu Xi said, reaching out.

But Ye Lan pulled back, her gaze locking onto Mu Xi’s with an unyielding authority that made Mu Xi’s heart skip.

Lowering her eyes, Mu Xi fell silent, her resolve crumbling.

Ye Lan squeezed toothpaste onto the brush and slid it into Mu Xi’s mouth, brushing with deliberate care.

Mu Xi’s body stiffened.

She squeezed her eyes shut, surrendering to Ye Lan’s control.

When the brushing was done, Ye Lan washed Mu Xi’s face, her movements precise and unhurried.

Through it all, Mu Xi remained pliant, a marionette without strings, offering no resistance.

Once they were finished, Ye Lan led Mu Xi to the shower.

Hot water poured from the showerhead, enveloping them in a mist of warmth.

Ye Lan’s hands roamed over Mu Xi’s body, taking liberties under the guise of washing, her touch lingering and bold.

Mu Xi clenched her jaw, enduring the violation, her heart heavy with humiliation and helplessness.

She shut her eyes, silently praying for the ordeal to end.

The water cascaded over them, warm and relentless, rinsing every inch of skin.

Droplets traced paths from Mu Xi’s hair, pooling into tiny streams that snaked toward the drain.

With her eyes closed, Mu Xi let the water’s rhythm wash over her, desperate to cleanse the shame and powerlessness clinging to her soul.

In the steamy haze, Ye Lan’s silhouette loomed, flickering like a persistent nightmare.

After the shower, Ye Lan guided Mu Xi back to the bedroom.

Heavy curtains blocked out the sun, save for a single sliver of light that pierced the gloom, casting an intimate, dusky glow.

The air was thick with the saccharine scent of cream, mingling with the faint freshness of Mu Xi’s body wash, creating an oppressive atmosphere.

Five minutes later, Ye Lan returned with an elegant tray, bearing a slice of cream cake and an assortment of pastries.

The cake’s rich aroma intensified, and Mu Xi’s stomach churned.

She swallowed hard, fighting the nausea rising in her throat.

“Open your mouth,” Ye Lan commanded, her voice echoing with undeniable authority.

Mu Xi obeyed, and Ye Lan scooped a piece of cake, guiding it to her lips.

The cloying sweetness flooded her mouth, and Mu Xi’s brow furrowed as she struggled to swallow, her expression twisted with discomfort.

“Delicious?” Ye Lan asked, her tone laced with mockery.

Mu Xi nodded silently, too afraid to protest.

“So cute.” Ye Lan’s smile widened.

She leaned down, her lips brushing Mu Xi’s in a soft kiss.

Her tongue flicked out, licking away a trace of cream from the corner of Mu Xi’s mouth.

Mu Xi froze, her eyes wide with shock and resistance.

“You’re so sweet,” Ye Lan murmured, her voice low and husky, dripping with allure.

A flush crept up Mu Xi’s cheeks.

She ducked her head, unable to meet Ye Lan’s gaze.

Ye Lan’s fingers grazed Mu Xi’s cheek, her eyes drifting to the remaining cake on the tray.

“Feed me,” she said, her tone carrying a quiet command.

Mu Xi looked up, confusion and uncertainty clouding her eyes.

“What?”

“With your mouth,” Ye Lan clarified, her voice firm and unyielding.

Mu Xi’s body trembled.

After a moment’s hesitation, she leaned forward, taking a piece of cake between her lips and carefully bringing it to Ye Lan’s mouth.

Ye Lan accepted it, her tongue grazing Mu Xi’s lips in a teasing caress.

Mu Xi flinched, trying to pull back, but Ye Lan’s arms encircled her, pulling her close.

In one swift motion, Ye Lan lifted Mu Xi and tossed her onto the bed, pinning her beneath her weight.

“What… what are you doing?!”

Mu Xi’s body was trapped under Ye Lan’s, immobile, as Ye Lan’s lips claimed hers.

“Mmph…”

Mu Xi’s struggles weakened, her breaths growing rapid, her body heating under the onslaught.

Ye Lan’s kisses deepened, her hands wandering with increasing boldness.

Mu Xi’s mind blurred, her thoughts dissolving into a haze, leaving her to endure Ye Lan’s advances passively.

The room’s atmosphere grew heavy with intimacy, the cake’s sweet scent mingling with the tang of sweat, dizzying and overwhelming.

The bed’s crumpled sheets bore witness to what had transpired, like an abstract canvas painted with desire and chaos.

The heavy curtains sealed out the world, plunging the room into shadow.

A lone bedside lamp cast a faint orange glow, barely tracing the room’s contours.

Amid the tangled bedding, Mu Xi curled into herself, a wounded creature seeking refuge in her own embrace.

Her eyes were closed, her long lashes quivering, her silver hair spilling across the pillow in stark contrast to the sheets.

The cloying scent of cream lingered, now suffocating, inescapable.

Mu Xi’s brow remained furrowed, her stomach roiling as she buried her face in the blankets, desperate to flee the nauseating sweetness.

‘I’m no longer pure.’

The thought coiled in her mind, a relentless specter that refused to fade.
