Her gaze met a pair of clear, glass-like eyes, which blinked at her.
“How are you? Are you feeling unwell anywhere?”
A flicker of doubt passed through Xunian’s eyes as she looked at Shen Mosi, whose expression showed no cracks at all.
The girl stared at her with an innocent, almost dazed look, her hands neatly resting on her pleated skirt.
Had she guessed wrong?
Xunian fixed her gaze on Shen Mosi’s eyes and slowly said, “Fira.”
Shen Mosi tilted her head. “Who’s that?”
Xunian leaned in closer, her dark eyes locked onto her, causing Shen Mosi’s face to flush red.
So she really wasn’t the Duke’s Daughter.
“What happened after I fainted?”
Xunian pulled back and stiffly changed the subject.
Shen Mosi’s face was still warm; she glanced at her before looking away and answered, “I fainted too…”
“Didn’t you see anyone locking us up?”
“No, but…” Shen Mosi seemed to recall something, “Before I passed out, I think I saw a woman with golden hair.”
The Duke’s Daughter still loved tying people up.
Xunian tugged at the chain tied to her wrist; the other end was connected to Shen Mosi’s bound hands.
Shen Mosi gave her a helpless smile. “Looks like we have to act together now.”
Qi Ye pointed ahead, exclaiming, “Look!”
Everyone followed the direction of his finger, and on the blackboard appeared words written in chalk:
【Campus Rules】
To foster a nurturing environment and promote excellent school spirit, the school has tailored the following rules for everyone.
Students must read and strictly follow these regulations:
【Rule One】: Please get along amicably with your classmates.
【Rule Two】: Please keep the classroom well-lit.
【Rule Three】: Do not leave your seat during class.
【Rule Four】: Stand up to answer questions when called on by the teacher.
【Rule Five】: Do not linger in the classroom after school at 7 PM.

Below Rule Five, there were marks from a chalk eraser, faintly revealing that something had been written there before.
Ran Feng, a veteran player with plenty of experience, darkened his expression after reading the rules and warned the others gravely, “Be careful, Rules Three and Four contradict each other.”
You can’t leave your seat during class, yet you have to stand up when asked a question.
What happens if you get called on during class?
“So what exactly are we supposed to do?” Qi Dong frowned, her face made up with powder and rouge, lips downturned in displeasure.
“Usually, the rules would indicate how long the horror game lasts, but…” Ran Feng paused, glanced at the blackboard again, then continued, “This time, it’s not shown.”
Yuan Shen, sitting next to Qi Dong, was tied to her.
“So now we have to find clues to figure out how long the game lasts, right?”
Xunian noticed that only Qi Ye, sitting alone in the corner, was not forcibly chained to someone else.
Everyone else was tied in pairs with their deskmates.
Xunian and Shen Mosi.
Yuan Shen and Qi Dong.
Ran Feng and Zhang San.
Qi Ye alone.
Xunian had been examining the chains but spoke up when she overheard their conversation.
“The game lasts three days.”
Yuan Shen looked at her suspiciously. “How do you know?”
“There’s a class schedule.” Xunian lifted her chin, gesturing toward it.
The unique class schedule was posted on the wall beside the blackboard, white letters on black paper listing three days of classes.
“Why is it the schedule for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday?”
Qi Ye, free to move, leaned forward and noticed something off.
Ran Feng analyzed, “So the game lasts three days, and we have to attend all the classes marked on this schedule?”
“Bang!”
A scar-faced man burst in, clutching a skull, exuding a suffocating pressure.
Xunian’s eyelid twitched. “Go away.”
Two soft arms wrapped around her neck. Shen Mosi buried her head in Xunian’s chest and whispered, “I’m scared.”
