“Minister Hua, it’s time to keep your promise.”
Pulling her attention away from the outside world, Vyea looked at the pink-haired dwarf softly and said,
“Take me to the Replica Topology Chamber of the All-Seeing Eye. Use your authority to open the door, but don’t trigger its self-destruct function.”
“Sister… have you thought this through? Even if we fail, you’ll definitely end up on the Capital’s bounty list.” Hua Shiyu sighed quietly as she used the All-Seeing Eye Replica in Antler City to trace backwards to the main body in the Capital and seize control of its permissions.
From the information she had gathered, the All-Seeing Eye was a special divine artifact granted by the gods to humanity to resist monsters.
Every Replica of the All-Seeing Eye could accurately record everything “nearby,” while the main body transcended all Replicas, acting as the eye of the All-Seeing and Almighty God described in the Divine Codex.
The Divine Codex was a widely circulated book, entirely about that All-Seeing and Almighty God.
Hua Shiyu dared not imagine that if Vyea succeeded in seizing control of the All-Seeing Eye, she would hold nearly all of humanity’s secrets in her hands.
No one wanted their browsing records to be exposed to others, especially not to someone like Vyea—a mysterious figure whose identity and loyalties were unclear.
“No matter your identity or strength, you will inevitably be hunted down by humans from all professions…”
Hua Shiyu’s words trailed off halfway, but the meaning was clear—
If you want to make enemies of all mankind, then go ahead!
It’s fine, just shedding one disguise.
Vyea was very confident. Her level was low now, and her three-dimensional attributes were weak, but she could still call on all twelve of her powers.
At worst, she could do what low-level wild Slime monsters do—cut off part of her body, mold it into a doll, and throw it out as a decoy.
That move was called Pawn Sacrifice!
And what was that saying again?
Flying Dragon Ride can’t lose!
Vyea put her hands on her hips and looked at Hua Shiyu. Her calm tone was full of confidence:
“It’s fine. You just need to use your face to open the door. I’ll handle the rest.”
Hua Shiyu hesitated: “…I.”
“Minister Hua, you’re not planning to back out, are you? If so, then I’ll have to go after what you value most.” Vyea’s face darkened as she threatened.
“#”
Hua Shiyu took a deep breath and said, “Alright, I’ll do as you say. I hope you keep your promise. Also, please hypnotize me.”
“Oh?” Vyea didn’t understand the strange request from the pink-haired dwarf.
Hua Shiyu explained, “A clear-headed me won’t lead you through.”
What a sneaky way to cover your nose and trick your eyes!
Minister Hua would never betray the Human Race unless she truly had no choice.
Truly an astonishingly clever mind!
Vyea clapped her hands and smiled, saying:
“Done!”
…
6:00 PM sharp.
The piercing alarm echoed through the Arbitration Office, and the red warning lights flashed nonstop, bathing the corridor in a bloody glow.
The group of unconscious Arbitration Knights had been discovered.
Each had a turtle drawn on their face, and on the corridor wall was a large red-faced smirking drawing with one eye squeezed shut, accompanied by a bold note:
“Stupid Brave, come catch me in the Monitoring Room~ Catch me and I’ll let you, heh, heh, heh.”
It was Senior Sister’s handwriting!
Seeing this, Lania’s heart pounded fiercely. Her fair hand gripping the giant scythe twitched with bulging veins.
She didn’t say a word. The once cheerful girl next door was now slowly retreating into herself after consecutive blows.
But a true Hero would not be defeated by cruel reality!
Lania recalled what her Hero’s Teacher had told her and, after a few breaths, composed herself and was the first to leave the scene, rushing to the Monitoring Room.
“Let’s follow the Hero to the Monitoring Room as well.”
The team of Knights coming to relieve the shift pondered briefly, then swiftly followed.
Inside the Monitoring Room, Vyea turned off all the monitors and strode out boldly with the hypnotized Hua Shiyu.
6:15 PM.
Vyea stood before the sealed chamber that protected the Replica Topology Chamber storing the All-Seeing Eye. Hua Shiyu began to carry out her final task.
A faint blue light brushed over Hua Shiyu’s figure. The door, forged from mysterious alloy, clicked open slowly, revealing a deep and endless corridor beyond.
“Respected Minister of the Alliance’s General Armory Department, may the radiance of the All-Seeing God illuminate your path.”
