Qiao Nan struggled twice but couldn’t break free.
Pei Xu’s grip was too strong, like an iron clamp holding him firmly in place, so Qiao Nan could only stumble along after him.
“How did you know I was here?”
He was sure he’d snuck out quietly!
Pei Xu didn’t answer.
His thin lips pressed together, jawline tight, and those eyes behind the lenses held a dark, unreadable look.
Qiao Nan only caught a glimpse before he started to feel guilty.
He didn’t know why, but he always felt like Pei Xu somehow knew what he was planning.
But soon, he straightened his back and regained his confidence.
He was already twenty years old, an adult for a long time now.
Whether it was dating or hooking up, Pei Xu had no right to interfere.
As they spoke, Pei Xu had already led him to the car.
With one hand, he pulled open the door and shoved him into the back seat.
The cramped, confined space of the car made Qiao Nan a bit resistant, but instinctively, he sensed that Pei Xu was dangerous right now.
It was best not to go against him, even if Pei Xu hadn’t said a single harsh word from start to finish.
Rubbing his sore wrist, Qiao Nan lowered his eyes and muttered quietly, “Dragging me out here without saying a word, you were never this fierce before.”
His tone was full of complaint, with a hint of grievance.
Pei Xu’s gaze fell on his reddened wrist. Qiao Nan’s skin was very fair; even a little force would leave a mark.
After receiving the message about the KTV, Pei Xu had rushed over in a hurry, unable to control his emotions for a moment, and ended up gripping too hard.
“Sorry, does it hurt?”
He frowned, pulling Qiao Nan’s wrist over to inspect it carefully, making sure he hadn’t actually hurt him.
“It hurts a little.”
Qiao Nan looked up at him.
In truth, it didn’t hurt at all, but he always knew how to play along, so of course he wouldn’t miss this opportunity.
Sure enough, the crease between Pei Xu’s brows deepened.
Standing by the car door, he bent down slightly to massage Qiao Nan’s wrist, his movements gentle and careful, just like the loving, indulgent older brother from before.
That illusion made Qiao Nan bold again. He pulled his wrist back behind him.
“Alright, it doesn’t hurt anymore. I’m coming home late tonight, Qian Chuan and the others are still waiting for me in the private room.”
As he spoke, he tried to squeeze out of the gap between Pei Xu and the car door.
But Pei Xu’s solid frame blocked the door completely, not budging an inch.
Those long, dark eyes fixed on him, and a warm hand landed on his shoulder.
“Nan Nan, what were you trying to do just now?”
What was he trying to do just now…
Qiao Nan’s eyes darted around, wavering between coming up with a random excuse and telling the truth.
At a time like this, it was better to trick him first.
But when he met Pei Xu’s overbearing gaze, his mouth spoke before his brain could react, “I’ve been single for so many years, it’s time I found someone.”
After he finished, he stared closely at Pei Xu, watching his expression.
But Pei Xu stood with his back to the light, his face half in shadow, half in light, making it impossible to read.
Qiao Nan could only vaguely see him seem to smile a little.
“A bar isn’t the place to find someone, Nan Nan. You’re not telling the truth.”
“Even a 419 is still finding someone.”
Qiao Nan grumbled.
Pei Xu’s eyebrows slowly arched, his gaze unreadable.
“A 419?”
Qiao Nan felt awkward but refused to back down, forcing himself to say, “Every man has physical needs. Don’t you?”
“Nan Nan has needs?”
Pei Xu’s expression didn’t change, but his voice seemed even deeper.
Qiao Nan replied, “Every man does, right?”
But the question was odd, and the atmosphere in the car suddenly became warm and dangerous.
He pressed his lips together, not saying another word, and tried to get out.
“Move aside.”
But instead of moving, Pei Xu got into the car and closed the door at the same time.
Qiao Nan heard a faint “click”—the sound of the car doors and windows locking.
Instantly, he grew nervous and tried to get out from the other side, but Pei Xu pulled him back by the waist.
Then, a burning body pressed down on him, and Pei Xu leaned close to his ear and said, “Nan Nan, how do you usually take care of your needs?”
A wave of heat exploded across Qiao Nan’s face, making him flush red and hot all over.
Even his voice trembled, “I won’t say, let me go.”
He didn’t realize that, because of his nerves and excitement, his whole body was trembling slightly, skin burning hot, looking just like a piece of melting cheesecake—tap him gently and he’d tremble.
He looked pitiful and tempting.
Pei Xu’s gaze flickered slightly, and he gripped Qiao Nan’s shoulder firmly, turning him around.
That gaze was too deep, too intense—a dangerous feeling, as if staring too long would leave a mark.
Qiao Nan’s body involuntarily jerked, twisting as he tried to get away.
Pei Xu held him down, gentle yet forceful, bending low, the bridge of his nose brushing against Qiao Nan’s cheek.
“Nan Nan, you’ve grown up. It’s about time you experienced what it’s like to be an adult.”
His voice was low and hoarse, like rough sand scraping against Qiao Nan’s eardrum, sending a strange, numbing itch spreading from his head to his whole body.
Qiao Nan was completely overwhelmed by the sensation, his strength draining away, even his struggles growing weak.
“I don’t want to.”
As if knowing what Pei Xu was about to do next, Qiao Nan’s eyes darted in panic, a hint of fear showing, his voice trembling with a sob.
But Pei Xu didn’t soften at all. He took off his glasses and set them aside, then switched on the backseat dome light.
A brotherhood of over ten years was too strong to put aside, trapping Qiao Nan inside it.
Pei Xu had decided to make it clear to him that their relationship had already changed.
He wasn’t just his older brother—he was also a man with desires.
The dim yellow light illuminated the small space, leaving nothing between them hidden.
At this moment, Pei Xu was no longer the gentle and refined man—he was like a wild beast ready to pounce.
Qiao Nan’s eyes were red, his thick black lashes wet with tears, looking up at him pitifully.
“I won’t look anymore, really.”
Pei Xu pressed a gentle kiss to his lips, his tone soft.
“Don’t be afraid.”
Qiao Nan wanted to protest, but as soon as he opened his mouth, Pei Xu sealed it, a nimble tongue slipping in.
Pei Xu’s kiss was forceful and skilled, lips and tongue strong and filled with desire.
It was just a kiss, yet Qiao Nan felt like his whole self was being forced open.
He opened his eyes wide, a muffled “mm-mm” escaping his throat.
Pei Xu soothed him gently, his lips trailing down Qiao Nan’s jaw and neck, finally stopping at a spot that made Qiao Nan jump.
“What are you doing?!”
Qiao Nan stared at him in shock and confusion.
Pei Xu kissed his fingers, firmly holding his wrist to stop him from struggling, and chuckled in a low voice, “Qiao, don’t move.”
The overhead light cast a warm, yellow glow.
The faint light wasn’t enough to fully illuminate the cramped space, but it was enough for Qiao Nan to see Pei Xu’s every movement clearly.
The man’s sharp brows and eyes were tinged with desire, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he swallowed, every motion bringing Qiao Nan an unfamiliar, irresistible sensation.
His arms and legs went weak, his toes curling and uncurling, his hand reaching for Pei Xu’s shoulder but too afraid to touch.
His mind felt like it was sinking into warm water, the heat making it impossible to think, leaving only instinct to guide him.
When Pei Xu straightened, Qiao Nan collapsed limply onto the seat.
If Pei Xu weren’t holding him, he could barely sit upright.
“Nan Nan, do you like it?”
Pei Xu’s Adam’s apple moved as he licked his lips, then leaned in to kiss him again.
By now, Qiao Nan couldn’t resist at all.
He opened his mouth, letting Pei Xu’s lips and tongue invade, like a king surveying his territory.
After a long while, he finally caught his breath, and accused, “You weren’t like this before.”
Pei Xu wiped the moisture from the corner of his mouth, speaking in a low voice, “I’ve always been like this. You just never noticed, Nan Nan.”
He gently stroked Qiao Nan’s cheek.
“From now on, you can either never speak to me again, or be with me. The choice is yours.”
He said it was a choice, but in reality, there was no choice at all.
Qiao Nan looked away and whispered, “Can’t we just go back to how things were before?”
Pei Xu said, “No.”
His voice was deep, “Qiao Nan, I’m not a saint. I can’t hold back anymore.”
Turning Qiao Nan’s face back toward him, Pei Xu teased, “Or do you think brothers would kiss like that?”
Qiao Nan’s face flushed bright red, and he stammered, unable to say a word.
