“What does this have to do with me?”
Enya looked at Eliv, who sat across from her, and asked this question. After all, these things had already become a page in the history books, so now it was time to get to the main topic, right?
Eliv glanced at Enya, then withdrew her gaze to the gently rippling surface in the teacup, letting her reflection sway.
The Seal was ultimately only a postponed problem; someone still needed to resolve it.
“So, you think I can resolve it?”
Enya pressed her lips together.
Eliv smiled faintly, neither confirming nor denying.
Silence at certain times could be taken as an affirmative answer.
And Enya mostly understood.
Don’t forget, there was something special within her body, namely [Survival’s Conception], and it was precisely because of its existence that Enya could be immune to all mental contamination.
In Enya’s more than twenty years of life, she had benefited from this more than once.
What Antiros wanted to do was perhaps to have her absorb that abyssal corruption, so that this buried bomb could be cleared away, but Enya felt it might not be that simple.
Before the atmosphere at the scene completely sank into silence because the topic had ended, Enya raised her eyes and looked at Eliv sitting across from her.
“I want to go out for a walk.”
Eliv looked at her again and nodded in agreement.
Vivienne, sitting to the side, frowned, but in the end turned her head away.
Enya and Eliv, one Dragon Princess and one Elf, walked down step by step from the slanted tree trunk. Although it was covered with moss, the two of them would not slip and fall. This time she did not follow behind Enya.
Enya could put on an act, but Eliv had the bearing of a Saintess and a person in power, and Enya no longer had the mood from her younger days. Pretending to trip and fall into Eliv’s arms was something she could not quite do now.
The two walked down side by side and arrived among the flowers and grass on the small island.
Eliv glanced at the land covered with weeds and blooming flowers, then turned to look at Enya beside her and said with a smile:
“These flowers were planted by you, but you never took care of them.”
“Hahaha…”
Enya laughed awkwardly.
How could she not hear that this was complaining about her passing by several times without entering? Although Eliv was the Saintess of the Church of Nature, she still had some small moods, especially toward Enya.
Seeing her use laughter to cover it up, Eliv also sighed softly.
“You really have… changed a lot.”
“Are you talking about me looking like this? Actually, I can hide them.”
“No need, it’s quite good. Humans are a kind of creature that grows quickly, but the growth of Elves is extremely long.”
“We live under the shade of the world tree, like children living in Mother’s embrace. Perhaps we can never fully grow, and in that regard we really are no match for Humans.”
“Haha, is that so?”
Enya did not quite agree with this view. A long life was not the reason for slow growth; living in a warm embrace was what made one live forever like a child. That was why Enya encouraged Rosily and Estelle to seek what they wanted to do.
Experience makes people grow, and this was true for any life.
Eliv squatted to the side and gently stroked the unopened flower buds with her hand. Enya seemed to understand. She moved her gaze from those beautiful flowers to that face even more beautiful than the flowers.
Enya’s golden-red eyes were half-lidded as she quietly watched Eliv’s movements. Only after she stood up from the ground again did Enya speak and ask Eliv:
“Can it be understood that the world tree exists to heal the wounds of the earth? Once a wound is completely healed, then the world tree’s mission will be complete, and this Miracle belonging to the Elves will also wither away.”
“We cannot cling to the past, Enya.”
Eliv was very open-minded. To the Elves, the world tree was already the living incarnation of God – although it truly was God’s incarnation, this tree’s mission should have been completed long ago, and the Elves had already enjoyed thousands of years of blessings beyond measure.
Enya opened her mouth, but then closed it. After a long while, she said:
“Is this your decision alone, or the choice of the Elves?”
“A decision I made alone. Of course, it was also a choice made after Lady Witch found me and talked with me, and after I thought it through carefully.”
Eliv took hold of Enya’s wrist and led her to the water’s edge. Without a moment’s pause, she pulled Enya and walked onto it.
The two of them stepped onto the water surface that was like a bright mirror.
By the railing of the wooden house in the tree, Vivienne watched Eliv take Enya’s wrist. Her brow furrowed deeper than at any time before, but she still held back and did not disturb Enya.
“Composure!”
As the person who had known Enya the earliest and spent the most time with her, she should display the composure she ought to have. She absolutely must not gnash her teeth just because Enya was pulled away!
On the water surface, Enya looked down.
The lake’s water was so clear it seemed not to exist. The scene beneath the water could be seen perfectly clearly. Some fish swam within it, and after seeing Enya and Eliv, they did not hide at all.
They swam directly under the two, but they could not leap out of the water. They could only nudge the soles of their shoes under the two.
Enya pressed her lips together. She knew these fish were quite perverted. When she was a girl, she had washed her feet in this lake, and these fish had run over to suck her feet.

Later, Enya always went to the Holy Water pool to wash. Not only were there no fish there, it could also nourish the body.
She stamped her foot and scared off these little creatures that did not know what they had actually done, and then she met Eliv’s gaze. Enya pursed her small mouth and blinked.
Eliv turned her head back and continued forward. The two walked to the opposite shore, and after stepping ashore, Eliv released Enya’s wrist.
Enya looked at Eliv’s back and asked curiously:
“How is Sophia?”
Eliv’s smile gradually faded.
Sophia was a Gold Elf Princess. The Council of Elders had originally wanted to support her as Empress and restore the separation of three powers.
Although they still intended to hold two major powers themselves, unfortunately Sophia had no interest at all in becoming Queen of the Elves.
She only wanted to be a Grand Elementalist and fire an extremely huge light cannon for fun.
Sophia had received Eliv’s Forest Elf-style education. On the surface, she was as elegant as an orthodox classical Forest Elf, but inwardly she still had the radical temperament of a Gold Elf. Boundless curiosity and a love of battle were the hallmarks of Gold Elves.
And then Eliv smoothly let Sophia out.
Eliv did not much like Enya mentioning other Elves in front of her.
“Her… you want to see her that much?”
Enya pretended not to notice Eliv’s displeasure.
“Good Sister~”
Seeing that Eliv was still unwilling, Enya took the opportunity to link her arm through hers. Eliv could tell that Enya was deliberately playing dumb with her.
Eliv had always been softhearted, so Enya’s single sentence made her agree. With a beckon of her slender hand, some lake water flew up and, before the two, turned into a translucent curtain of water.
An image gradually appeared on the water curtain. Enya gazed at it with her Dragon Eyes.
As the image became clearer, a Human girl with twin braids was mixed in among a crowd of Humans, talking and laughing with her companions.
Looking closely, it was actually an airship, and the girl with twin tails was wearing the school uniform of The Academy. The Sun Emblem made clear that this was an academy belonging to a city near the southern part of the Zephyr Empire.
Yes, that was right. This was the current Elf Princess Sophia. Using the Mask of a Thousand Faces she had obtained from Enya, she had mixed in among Humans and begun her own adventure.
“Ha, Sophia actually mixed into a Human academy.”
“Yes.”
“It’s a pity she doesn’t seem to be coming here to take the Grand Exam at Tarlonde. Otherwise, she could have met my Rosily and Estelle.”
“Why would she want to come back…”
Eliv sighed. Sophia was her disciple, and she had watched her grow up since childhood, almost like her Daughter.
As the Saintess, she could only bear a child with the Empress. Now that she held both roles, naturally she had no daughter.
Eliv would not let anyone she did not permit become Queen of the Elves.
Enya looked at Sophia disguised as a village girl and sighed inwardly. She had done the same before, playing the pig to eat the tiger, but after enjoying it a few times, she found it lost its thrill.
The image on the water curtain disappeared, and then instantly fell to the ground.
The Dragon Princess and the Elf continued on together.
Back in the Northern Mountains, Enya had already been watched by Eliv. Eliv had previously appeared in the border city and brought Enya and Vivienne to their current location – a subsidiary forest behind the Nature Temple.
Thinking about it now, Enya felt she had been arranged completely, but she did not have the nerve to blame Eliv. That chance meeting in the water between her and Eliv had also been deliberately orchestrated by Eliv.
The Saintess had carefully arranged a chance meeting with you, so just secretly be happy. One cannot ask for too much in life; being able to eat is already good enough.
And this Saintess smells really good!
Cough cough…
They quietly arrived at a training ground in the forest. This was the place for training Elf Saint Knights, where only Gold Elves were active, and they were training in pairs.
Upon arriving, Enya instantly locked onto one small girl clad in silver-gray armor. She was using Double Swords in a fierce duel against a tall Female Knight holding a Longsword.
The two were about equal in rank, and even more similar in skill.
“Sister Eliv, Nina probably won’t participate in the Tarlonde Assessment, right?”
“Not necessarily.”
“What, worried about the child?” Eliv said with a playful smile.
Enya sighed softly and said:
“I gave Rosily my original Magic Core. On the surface she is Third Rank, and has not even reached Fourth Rank, but if the Seal is lifted, she would be at the Eighth Order of Magic Power.”
“You are as competitive as ever.”
Eliv looked at Enya with a smile.
Enya felt a little embarrassed by her, gave a light huff, and turned her head away.
Nina’s level was already enough to graduate from Tarlonde, and needless to say, once Rosily’s Seal was lifted, she would directly become another giant Dragon in this world. If they participated in the Assessment, it would be a bit unfair to the other contestants.
Eliv covered her mouth and smiled, then said:
“Don’t worry, Nina has no intention of going to Tarlonde.”
“Oh oh.”
Enya looked toward Nina’s nimble figure.
