Fifty meters… thirty meters… twenty meters… ten meters… five meters, they had arrived, finally arrived!
In the darkness, guided by the mist, Di Lisha had walked for what felt like an eternity before finally reaching the end point. The
mist’s final prompt finally appeared before her eyes:
“Congratulations on completing this test. After evaluation, you have been deemed a person of purity.”
Only impure people would feel intense excitement the first time they did something like this, and Di Lisha hadn’t felt much excitement, so she was quite pure—just what Truth liked.
Rather than facing off against some veteran who could tell from a slap on the rear what combat stance to switch to, Truth preferred the process of writing from a blank white page to a fully filled one.The
sense of accomplishment was much higher that way!
“Is it finally over?” At the end point, Di Lisha’s entire body went limp as she slowly sat down on the ground.
At the same time, she could feel the blindfold on her head beginning to loosen…
She never imagined that her first visit to Sylvia Kingdom’s territory would involve something like this—strolling through the Mist Dungeon with a Life Saintess in an extremely indecent state.
Although she still felt deeply ashamed even after the test had ended, from the latter half of the journey onward, Di Lisha noticed that she had begun to gradually adapt. The
shame wasn’t as overwhelming as it had been at the start; it had settled at just the right level.
Later on, when the posture of keeping her hands over her chest grew tiring, she even tried lowering them.
But then some important places would feel particularly chilly, which was unbearable, so Di Lisha went back to crossing her arms to cover herself.
She switched through various other poses as well—after all, no one could see her anyway!
All in all, habit was a rather frightening thing.Even
though she was doing something so embarrassing, she’d ended up somewhat accustomed to it by the end.Fortunately
, the test had stopped in time.
“Speaking of which, how’s Truth doing over there?”
With one hand still covering her chest, Di Lisha used the other to lift the blindfold slightly, peeking through the gap to survey her surroundings…
Perhaps if she opened her eyes now, she might catch a glimpse of the Ninth Saintess in a pitiful state?
She was suddenly feeling a bit excited about that…
Unfortunately, she was disappointed.
Di Lisha found that her surroundings were still nothing but thick fog and lush forest, with a clear pond right in front of her.
Just as Di Lisha glanced to her left side, she suddenly noticed that Truth beside her was still wearing that priest robe, and was in the middle of adjusting her collar—as if she had just put on her clothes!
Moreover, she still wore that leisurely, carefree expression on her face, as if the test just now was nothing out of the ordinary for her, with barely any shame at all.
And so, beside a small misty pond, the figures of Truth in her priest robe and Di Lisha completely naked were both reflected together in the pond’s surface.
The scene looked… like something that had just concluded?
After a few seconds of silence, Di Lisha’s face flushed crimson again.
Flustered, she pointed at Truth and demanded in disbelief:
“Y-you you… Didn’t you say you went through this whole journey in the same state as me? Why do you have clothes?!”
“What are you talking about…” Truth replied casually:
“Didn’t I just put them on now?”
“Honestly, I just did the motion of adjusting my clothes, and I even played along with you all the way here. You should be grateful.”
“You put them on that fast?! And… weren’t the clothes supposed to… you know… somewhere along the way? Why do you still have clothes to wear at the finish line?!”
“Don’t tell me you planted a spare priest robe for yourself here in advance?!”
“What are you even saying?” Truth looked at Di Lisha like she was an idiot:
“The rules only require us not to wear them; they don’t require us to throw them away! Can’t you just hold onto them after taking them off?”
“Huh?! N-no no… Shouldn’t the mist just send the clothes back to us once the test ends? Then… what am I supposed to do if I tossed all my clothes somewhere along the way?!”
“What else can you do?” Truth looked Di Lisha up and down, taking in her well-proportioned maiden figure:
“Go back the way you came and pick them up.”
“I’m supposed to go like this?!”
“What else? It’s not like there’s anyone on this path anyway. You’ve already walked it once; walking it again is no big deal.”
“No no no! Wearing clothes with my eyes open is a completely different feeling from being blindfolded. There’s no way I’m doing that!”
“Then just put the blindfold back on. Problem solved.”
“No no no! Oh, wait!” A lightbulb went off in Di Lisha’s head:
“Let me borrow your outer robe! You’re a Saintess, right? Saintesses should be happy to help others. I’m in trouble now, so you should lend me your Sanctified Robe!”
Di Lisha once again revealed her true colors as a spoiled young miss, looking like she had Truth all figured out.
But unfortunately, her moral blackmail had zero effect on Truth.
“No way. If you wear it, what am I supposed to wear?”
“Don’t you have your undergarments?”
“Who wears those things! Anyway, I’m not giving it to you no matter what you say. It’s way too embarrassing for me! Don’t make me resort to force!” Truth said warily.
“Why are you getting embarrassed all of a sudden now?!” Di Lisha felt like she’d been played by Truth.Just
Just as she was about to confront her and snatch the robe by force, Truth spoke again, sounding somewhat dejected:
“So this is your true face after all… I said I wanted to be good friends with you, which is exactly why I brought you to do this test! And the moment the test ends, you turn around and try to steal my things!”
“You…”
With just two sentences, Truth left Di Lisha too intimidated to make a move.
She’d almost forgotten—if she actually did something like that, she would end up on bad terms with the Ninth Saintess, and then she’d never be able to complete the task her father had given her!
Damn it! For the sake of getting back to Deya City and returning her life to normal as soon as possible, fine, she would endure this!
Di Lisha glanced at her reflection in the water once more, seemingly having made up her mind. She then turned her back to Truth and began heading back the way she came.
Unfortunately, after only two steps, she discovered a fatal problem—since the mist’s guidance had disappeared, she had no idea where she was going!
Oh no, it seemed she was about to get lost in the mist!
Di Lisha immediately stepped back two paces, not daring to get too far from Truth and trigger the mist’s Lost mechanism. She turned back and asked Truth hurriedly:
“Truth! Do you know the way back?”
“I do.”
By now, Truth had already gotten up.
Her entire body was hidden behind a tree with half her head poking out, one eye faintly revealing a strange, pale blue gleam as she watched Di Lisha from a safe distance—as if terrified Di Lisha might come over and snatch her clothes.
Di Lisha scratched her head awkwardly: “Um… could you… could you lead the way and help me find my clothes?”
“I can…” Truth dragged out her words:
“But… you have to agree to one request first.”
“What request?” For some reason, Di Lisha suddenly felt something was off.
Truth continued in that eerie tone: “It’s simple. Right now, you just need to follow my instructions and do a few cute poses. First, spread your legs shoulder-width apart, then make a heart shape with both hands…”
“Huh? What kind of instruction is that?!”
Di Lisha briefly pictured that pose in her mind. If she actually did that… wouldn’t she be completely exposed?!
“No no no! What kind of condition is that? There’s absolutely no way I’m agreeing!”
“Not agreeing? Then I’ll be on my way~” Truth, still hiding behind the tree, took two or three steps back, her petite figure gradually fading into the mist.
“Wait! Wait!” Startled, Di Lisha hurried forward two steps, terrified of being separated from Truth in the fog:
“I’ll do it! I’ll do it, okay?!”
“Hehe~” Truth made a stay-back gesture:
“Men and women should maintain proper distance. Don’t come too close—I’m afraid you’ll strip my gear!”
Truth kept her distance from Di Lisha at all times.
She then began directing Di Lisha into various poses, and her suddenly pale blue eye occasionally emitted faint clicking sounds…
Until two minutes later, a special, powerful energy fluctuation suddenly erupted from near the Core Region of the mist, interrupting Truth and Di Lisha’s pleasant playtime and immediately capturing all of Truth’s attention.
“Hmm? What kind of power is that?” Truth looked toward the direction of the Mist Core Zone.
The next moment, a mighty Divine Sense abruptly descended upon the entire mist!
“Who’s picking on my little cat?!” The next second, that Divine Sense rang out simultaneously in the minds of Truth and Little Mist, startling them both.
The way this Divine Sense communicated was quite unusual—it seemed to be communicating directly with the mist’s Authority, which was why both Truth and Little Mist could hear it at the same time. Then the Divine Sense continued:
“Come out, you coward who dares not show your face!”…
