The Magician didn’t mind Su Luo’s strange attitude and half-hearted replies.
He took off his hat, showed it to everyone, then smiled as he placed it gently on Su Luo’s head. Â
Next, he performed a few magical gestures, then pressed his hand on Su Luo’s head, slowly pushing downwards.
Almost instantly, Su Luo felt an immense pressure bearing down on the top of her head.
The pressure kept pressing down, and she realized what was about to happen—he was trying to force her into the hat! Â
Feeling the nearly doubled weight on her head, Su Luo knew she couldn’t wait any longer; she had to stop him immediately.
She absolutely could not accept shrinking any further! Â
She shouted out loud.
Her cry did make the Magician stop. Â
“What’s wrong, my dear Miss Rabbit?” The Magician’s voice carried a hint of irritation at having his trick interrupted.
Su Luo knew that if she didn’t come up with a reasonable explanation, the punishment waiting for her next would be severe.
She put on a shy expression, hesitated for a moment, and said, “Actually, I’ve been your fan for a long time. Whether it’s your incredible looks or your exquisite magic, I’ve been deeply captivated. Being invited on stage today is truly an honor. As your fan, may I make a small request?”
Her words lifted the Magician’s mood instantly.
The anger from being interrupted vanished without a trace. Â
He smiled gently yet with a hint of danger and asked, “What kind of request do you have?”
Su Luo carefully, yet expectantly, asked, “Could I hug you?”
The Magician was momentarily stunned.
He had expected a request like leaving the stage, not something so simple. Â
Since she was truly his fan, the Magician was more than willing to grant her wish.
“Oh, what a cute little girl. I’m happy to fulfill your request.” Â
With that, he opened his arms wide.
Su Luo stepped forward and embraced him, then loudly exclaimed, “I’m actually hugging my idol! I have no regrets in this life!”
She then flopped backward onto the ground, a satisfied smile on her face.   Â
Not only the Magician, but even the audience below were stunned by this bold move.
After Su Luo fainted, the crowd’s reactions divided into three types. Â
One group was utterly shocked, unable to understand why Su Luo would faint—these were the previously indifferent NPCs.
Another group was deeply moved, believing Su Luo was indeed a devoted fan of the Magician, and planned to chat with her later—these were the Magician’s hardcore fans.
The last group were the players, dumbfounded and amazed.
Su Luo’s move was undeniably audacious but effective.
“You can actually play like this? This completely shattered their worldview.” Â
Yun Feibai below was equally speechless.
He knew Su Luo wouldn’t give away the rose so easily and would resist somehow, but even he hadn’t expected such a tactic. Â
On stage, the Magician was also stunned when Su Luo fainted.
Was this… a staged scene?
No, no, it was just that the fan was so excited to hug her idol that she fainted. Â
The Magician laughed knowingly and proudly, raising his voice: “What a passionate fan! Just lacking some mental toughness. But that’s understandable—after all, who can blame her when I’m just too outstanding? Is there a friend of this fan here? Please come up and take her back.”
Here it comes!
Su Luo’s heart tightened as she was still pretending to be unconscious.
She guessed the Magician would call someone up to take her away.
If Yun Feibai came up, no doubt the Magician would want Yun Feibai to take her place in the performance. Â
Su Luo felt nervous.
Though she believed in the adage ‘If the righteous path fails, the unorthodox must survive,’ she hadn’t planned for this situation.
This seemingly fatal scenario still had a solution—depending on Yun Feibai’s understanding of human nature. Â
In truth, this was also a test.
If Yun Feibai couldn’t handle this situation, her attitude toward him would change.
She wouldn’t entrust him with important tasks or trust him so easily anymore. Â
Fortunately, Yun Feibai didn’t disappoint her.
After the Magician called twice, Yun Feibai stood and went on stage, saying, “I’m her boyfriend.” Â
Yun Feibai looked somewhat handsome in this instance of the dungeon, but his face was dark, clearly bothered that his girlfriend had hugged another man and then fainted.
The Magician’s eyes twinkled as he smiled: “You know, my charm is overwhelming; you can’t blame her for fainting. As a generous boyfriend, you won’t blame her, right?”
Yun Feibai’s face darkened further, tinged with embarrassment.
He firmly replied, “Right.”
Anyone could tell he wasn’t sincere. Â
The Magician laughed even more gleefully.
“I’m glad you don’t mind. If my charm causes you two to break up, I would really feel guilty.” Â
Su Luo quietly opened one eye to glance at the Magician.
To her, the Magician was like a flourishing, swaying white lotus. Â
Seeing Yun Feibai’s sour face made the Magician even more satisfied.
He waved generously, “You two can leave. I’ll find someone else to perform with me.” Â
Both Yun Feibai and Su Luo breathed a sigh of relief.
They had guessed right!
Su Luo was the Magician’s fan, but she had a boyfriend.
The Magician wouldn’t be happy about this and hoped to get rid of the boyfriend.
But if he did that, his standing among fans would plummet, which was not what he wanted. Â
So the more Yun Feibai showed he cared about this, the happier the Magician became.
This way, he could drive a wedge between the fan and her boyfriend without harming his image among fans. Â
Naturally, the Magician wouldn’t kill Yun Feibai.
He was waiting for Yun Feibai to break up with Su Luo himself! Â
Yun Feibai lifted the fainting Su Luo in a princess carry.
Su Luo quietly rubbed her head against his chest to show she was still alive.
Yun Feibai stiffened for a moment, then strode back to his seat.   Â
The Magician’s performance continued.
He called another player onto the stage.
That player looked pale and shaky. Â
The Magician asked gently, “You won’t faint again, will you?”
This cut off the player’s chance of copying Su Luo’s trick. Â
The player had no choice but to cooperate with the Magician’s act.
Su Luo watched the entire scenario she would have faced if she hadn’t escaped. Â
As before, the Magician placed the hat on the player’s head and pressed down.
The player was quickly forced completely inside the hat. Â
Then the Magician changed his trick, tipped the hat upside down, and the player emerged folded into the shape of a normal rabbit.
Clearly, the player had died an excruciating death. Â
A chill ran through Su Luo’s heart.
She had some points now, so death didn’t scare her.
But she hated pain, and this way of dying looked unbearably painful! Â
The Magician’s act wasn’t limited to the rabbit trick.
He also performed sawing a person in half, turning someone into a lion, and so on—everyone involved died. Â
Su Luo had to admit this was the deadliest game she’d encountered.
Though not all the victims were players, it showed just how difficult the game was. Â
The Magician performed for a long time before stepping down.
It was already noon. Â
Su Luo took out the lunch she had prepared in her backpack and suddenly realized that, except for the burger she had bought herself, the little lunch wouldn’t last seven days at all!
If you hadn’t bought anything outside, you’d either have to buy food inside or starve for seven days.
From this, Su Luo guessed that the burgers’ purpose was just to keep them from starving. Â
By now, Su Luo was pretending to be awake and even made a small fuss to show she hadn’t enjoyed the performance.   Â
Her devoted fans around her expressed sympathy and regret—after all, they genuinely thought this was something worth crying over.
After the performance, Su Luo shared her speculation with Yun Feibai.
The two hesitated for a long time before deciding to eat the burger. Â
After eating, both felt somewhat full.
But as an adult male, Yun Feibai usually needed two burgers to be satisfied!
This was indirect proof that Su Luo’s guess was accurate. Â
As the show went on, the death toll kept rising.
The lion jumping through the flaming hoop aimed the hoop directly at the audience.
The lion looked like it had eaten two people before returning. Â
The clown throwing balls smashed one into the audience, and whoever was hit died instantly.
Su Luo and Yun Feibai dodged the various dangers while keenly observing their surroundings.
They gradually noticed that the beasts trapped in the cages seemed increasingly restless. Â
Clearly, something was about to happen.
The finale was the Mermaid’s appearance.
Could the Mermaid be the reason the beasts were agitated? Â
Suddenly, Yun Feibai grabbed Su Luo, who was dodging balls desperately, pulling her into a corner.
For an assassin like him, avoiding the balls was easy. Â
Su Luo looked at him in confusion and quietly, quickly asked, “What’s wrong?”
Yun Feibai pointed behind them.
Su Luo turned and saw the Circus’s back door was open. Â
“Leave?”
“Yeah.”
If not now, then when?
The two quietly began moving toward the exit.
The clowns on stage were still throwing balls enthusiastically, and the audience was focused on dodging them. Â
After a long time sneaking around, Su Luo and Yun Feibai finally succeeded in leaving the Circus.
They ran several steps until the Circus was out of sight before stopping. Â
Liya was another player.
She felt this dungeon was terrifying.
It had started as a normal sightseeing tour, but upon reaching the Circus, it suddenly turned into a horror game.
She narrowly dodged one performance after another and was finally waiting for the Mermaid to appear! Â
The host Leiska came out first and announced to everyone, “The grand finale of our Circus is about to begin! Are you excited?”
He was pleased to hear cheers from the crowd, then leisurely continued, “But before the Mermaid appears, we need to do some preparations.”
He cast a sinister glance at the audience.
