Chapter 303: Husband… Kiss Me!

Upon hearing that she would have to stay in this sunless place for the next few days, Su Nian’s stunning little face—which had only just regained a hint of color—immediately fell again.

She put on a pitiful, aggrieved expression and looked at the man in front of her with wide, pleading eyes.

“It’s so gloomy and creepy here… I have to stay in this place for days?”

She extended a slender, fair finger and pointed at the empty stone walls around them and the heavy iron door, her tone full of disdain.

Aside from that ridiculously oversized bed being somewhat comfortable, the rest was just cold stone.

If someone added a few chains, wooden stocks, branding irons, and the like, she wouldn’t doubt for a second that this was a dedicated “torture chamber.”

It didn’t suit her identity as the “Star-Moon Saintess” and a magic girl idol at all!

“It’s a bit dangerous outside right now.” Chu Tian patiently explained, “In the past two days, the manor guards have already caught several Demon Race spies trying to sneak in—even some assassins specifically targeting you.”

“And the Demon Race enemies out in the open… aren’t even the most dangerous ones… So, stay here and recover properly for now. Be good~”

Chu Tian reached out and ruffled the soft golden hair on top of the girl’s head, as though soothing a pet.

“Or perhaps…” His tone shifted. 

The corners of his mouth curved into that familiar, wicked arc as he leaned down, bringing his face close to hers.

“…the reason Little Nian’er is saying this is because you don’t want Master to leave and want me to stay here with you?”

“N-no… of course not!” 

The girl reacted like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. 

She jerked backward and hurriedly denied it.

“It’s just that this place is too shabby! And… and it’s kind of boring…”

Su Nian pointed at the monotonous furnishings around them, trying to justify herself.

“I knew you’d say that.”

Chu Tian straightened up, his face wearing an expression of complete confidence—as though everything was under his control.

“But Master came prepared.”

As soon as the words left his mouth, he casually waved his hand.

In an instant, the entire dungeon underwent a dramatic transformation.

The cold, rough stone walls were covered with soft, luxurious wall hangings. 

The dim yellow magic crystal lamp was replaced by a light orb capable of simulating daylight and adjusting brightness.

Even invisible ventilation devices appeared in the corners, continuously pumping in fresh air and carrying away all traces of dampness and stuffiness.

Various pieces of furniture appeared one after another, filling the entire “room.”

A vanity table carved with delicate rose patterns, a massive bookshelf packed with all kinds of magic books, a sofa with soft cushions, and a wide desk large enough for her to handle documents—all appeared in sequence.

The originally empty, frigid dungeon, in just a few dozen seconds, had become a luxurious, comfortable, and ridiculously cozy princess suite.

Chu Tian snapped his fingers again.

The enormous wardrobe doors swung open on their own. 

Inside was crammed with all sorts of brand-new clothing.

From light, silky nightgowns to practical everyday wear, to several gowns so ornate they could be worn to a royal banquet, and even the various outfits he had previously prepared in the “gorgeous box”—like the “cat costume”—everything was there.

“How’s that?”

Chu Tian looked at the girl’s sky-blue eyes, slightly widened in shock, and a trace of unconcealed pride appeared on his face.

All of these things had been prepared long ago on his orders.

But since Su Nian being imprisoned here was the highest-level secret, only he could personally handle the setup.

“S-so… amazing!”

Su Nian instinctively let out a sound of admiration, but the moment the words left her mouth, she immediately realized and quickly schooled her expression.

She absolutely would not let this damned horned demon see how delighted she was.

He would definitely mock her!

Moreover, after the horned demon lord’s transformation, the place no longer bore even the slightest trace of a dungeon.

If she hadn’t seen it with her own eyes, who could imagine that this bedroom—luxurious enough to belong to a duke’s daughter—had once been a prisoner’s cell?

And if all else failed, she could chat with the horned demon master.

Half a day passed quickly.

When the light orb in the room softened and began simulating the glow of dusk, Chu Tian brought her a sumptuous lunch.

After she finished eating, he didn’t leave immediately as he usually did.

Instead, while Su Nian was completely off guard, he leaned down and gave her a deep kiss.

She struggled symbolically for a couple of seconds before giving up resistance.

Only after he pulled away, fully satisfied, did she belatedly realize something.

Now, when this jerk kissed her, she actually didn’t feel much humiliation anymore.

There wasn’t even the slightest fluctuation in Humiliation Value on the system panel.

Was it because… she had started to think of this kind of thing as normal?

Or because being kissed by Master didn’t actually feel that humiliating anymore?

Finally, he moved.

The man naturally removed the black outer robe embroidered with dark dragon patterns and casually draped it over the back of the nearby sofa.

Then he walked to the bed, lifted a corner of the velvet blanket, and—carrying an undeniable air of dominance—lay down beside her.

He stayed over with complete ease.

As though this were his room all along.

The bed sank deeply under his heavy frame, pulling her small body entirely into his domain.

That familiar, intensely aggressive cold dragon saliva perfume instantly enveloped her completely.

Su Nian wasn’t surprised in the slightest.

Her body only stiffened slightly the moment the man lay down before quickly relaxing again.

She didn’t even feel any “disgust” in her heart.

Ever since that crushing defeat in Blackstone Gorge…

Sleeping together with Master had become “normal.”

She had already convinced herself of that.

However, the humiliating address “husband” was still something she couldn’t deliberately say when fully conscious.
